I kind of agree with coffmantra - this may seem a bit much - but he is a tortured soul. he can't enjoy his own band's music once its released, he certainly can't listen to OK Computer. once the music is released, its out and listened and more importantly USED by others. i think he shudders when he thinks of the misuse of his music, and for this reason performance is an act of reclamation
