Very Nice! He follows the style brought by Steve Balsamo very well indeed. However, Steve Balsamo is still the best for this number LIVE. I saw him do this in the recent production of JCS the other night in Adelaide, he is freaking amazing. The way he emotes the song, the way he sings it, it hits you BAM in the chest. His falsetto is utterly amazing and I love it. It brings me to tears everytime.

@Allyndaar1982 Wow, do you anything about singing? Do you know the talent and hard work it takes for anyone to hit that note LET ALONE A MAN! Falsetto is NOT for try-hards who can't hit the note, get a clue. I saw him sing that live, and it was incredible and his voice shook the whole theatre. He is an unbelievable singer, so go spread your expertise elsewhere.

@SisiStringer - Yeah, I am a singer. Falsetto is far easier to do and control then a full voice note. That's where my tastes lie, I'm afraid. Go listen to Michael Ball sing this and then try and tell me this falsetto note has more musicality and emotion than that! Seriously! Luke could do it. I think he's using falsetto because so many others have before him - and it's those others that are the try-hards. Luke is just keeping people like yourself happy.

@dklaverty - Ok. In simple terms: Great voice, great job, great song for him but... the falsetto bit? -not my thing. I'm saying Luke could do this whole song in chest and I'd love to hear that. This is hard for you to understand how? Oh, I'm 'knocking' an Idol - I get that.

If you're going to argue the value of Falsetto, then you've grounds to come back at me. Yet I haven't 'knocked' Luke. Therefore you must have a deep sense of love for Falsetto in general... and that's special. It really is!

@Allyndaar1982 I understand what ur saying fully & I just watched Michael Ball do it & it was fantastic BUT; the thing is that song was written for an incredible range & that note is meant to be sang in falsetto (which is why its so impressive) caus its impossible for a man to hit it not falsetto. Michael Ball actually sang it two ocatves below how the note was written. I guess I'm just saying it IS amazing ESPECIALLY the falsetto bit, and when I saw it Luke raised it ANOTHER OCTAVE. INCREDIBLE!

@Allyndaar1982 It's a rock song you idiot. Have you ever listened to classic rock music? They use falsetto like that quite frequently. Michael Ball is amazing, but this is supposed to be a FUCKING ROCK song. That note is G5 which is virtually impossible for a man to sing full voice. Get your fucking piano out and look at the note he sings. Very few female belters can actually sing that note; so, no, he is not going to do that full voice.

@Allyndaar1982 Okay, I was in a mixed choir two years ago and it is hard for boys/men to hit falsetto, even tenors. And I'm sure Luke is very well trained, which is probably why he sang falsetto. And that note he sang is in a soprano range, so he totally has my praise.
