i own a 1977 kz1000 and it rides great. bridgestone spitfire tires help alot with handling. Mine has the 1075 big bore and kerker comp. exhaust and she moves more then i need and yes i have been on bikes like the 06 yamaha r1 and zxr12r. i still like the old style
Finally...a decent objective review of the Zephyr 1100 !! (aka the ZR 1100 in North America). I have the exact bike - a stock 1995 A4 - even the same colour. What the rider concluded with is very true, the Zephyr can appeal to both the hooligan rider and the Grampa rider. I happen to fall mostly in the latter category...and to be honest, with just a little of the former aswell! It's a blast to ride and quite frankly performs better when it's given a firm but controlled throttle. Awesome.
