  • Another 20 some years and all these movies will be a hundred years old..., and most of us will be dead! Pray for the Pop Corn, pray for the Mighty Pop Corn!

  • very dark copy andheavily cut

  • Great movie,great acting,very well done.

  • but their bosses didn't like 'em so they shot 'em into space . . .

  • Their prediction of WWII was almost spot on except the mustard gas bombs. Hitler realized early on they would be ineffective if everyone had gas masks. The prediction of 2036 is almost startling to think because we're heading down that path too especially post-2012.

  • Great set design and effects, and so far ahead in its thoughts.

  • Love this one it was the first What IF movie. The public expression of what good is war?

  • One of the only free maison, new world order movies i have ever seen.

This is a great example of why a one world order will never work. As the movie has shown,No mater what humanity does to create peace there will always be those that cant find satisfaction in someone elses way of life. In other words. When people a forced to live by someone elses laws rebelion and chaos will surely follow. And that you will find as fact if you look at the history of any civilization known to Mankind.

  • The story of a hundred year way? lol

  • What is this grand new age, where men wear dresses and capes as if they had vaginas? This new age cannot even properly spell the word vaginas without spell check! It's simply madness!! Men landing on the moon, space guns, endless mischief. Progress and madness must go hand in hand, and nothing but misery can come of it. I won't have it, I tell you!

Read Yevgeny Zamyatin's book "WE". It was banned in the Russia known in ages past. A banned book I won't see destroyed in the name of this progress.

  • Due to the terrible service i get from talktalk, I am unable to watch this movie as it dosen't buffer, only streams, and my connection isnt quick enough to keep up.

Conclusion - Talktalk is cheap but awful... the world dosent assume people need to buffer anymore. I hate the world

  • @LITTLEREDKINGS wtf your computer, browser and flashplayer are responsible for buffering not talktalk, get a grip.

  • @IndieGameDesigner wrong....i was getting 0.45mb download with talktalk and frequent dropouts, Im now with BT. i get no drops outs and 4.54mb. Ps wasnt the router either i tried 4 different ones. Talktalk has refunded me 3 months worth of subscription and said there was nothing they could do but let me leave without a breaking contract penalty.......maybe you don't know everything???

  • wow....everything in this movie is happening now. Underground bases built by Freemasons. Unfortunately they left out the part where the so-called aliens who are the ''powers that be'' are the ones controlling us all.

  • I really like the design of those excavator machines used for clearing out the landscape.

  • Gotta love those Segways the futuristic dudes are driving :)

This movie along with Fritz Lang's Metropolis are epic sci fi classics way ahead of their times. They will be viewed for generations to come.

  • freemasonry of zion, 37:30

  • We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We dont forgive We dont forget.Expect us!

  • The way the future was!

  • Its commercial TV at its best. NEXT!

  • This film predicted:

The foppish Chief and his girl became Mussolini and Clara Petacci. The black clad paratroopers looked like SS over Sicily. Their bombers looked like a German plane that attached two Me 109 fuselages together. All the glass tube elevators outside of the buildings..can you say "Hyatt Hotel"? That canon became the V3 Wunderwaffe, and now an electromagnetic rail gun for launching spacecraft. Their first flight to the Moon was a flight around the Moon? Just like Apollo.

  • I don't know who wrote the synopsis above, but there are several spelling errors. I think you mean "hundred year WAR" and "uprising begins AGAINST". Very strange that such errors would be missed by a major company as YouTube.

  • I've posted comments on my jacob bronowski "scientific humanism" blog. You can find the blog entry quickly by looking up, "Tuesday, July 5, 2011" on the right I do believe.

  • Watched this the other night, it was fantastic but long, I loved it!

  • And oh, look at the contrast between the mistress and the tyrant; the mistress is constantly showing the immaturity of the anti-science knowledge tyrant . . . and she's for dictatorship! This film is not about this or that government; it's about scientific values and whether we choose to be scientific or not.

  • The whole wars scenes for the most part after the wars shows what life is like without science when civilization is beat down.

It's astonishing nobody sees these things.

  • This is not about this form or another government; it's about whether we choose science or not. It also shows that wars interfere with scientific progress; well, it puts up the debate.

  • The ending says "which will it be." Will we choose scientific values or not? Will we choose to go on exploring the universe; or, will we make excuses like, "there's too much knowledge" and "we can't know everything".

  • You know your onto something when people don't say anything.

  • fantastic film, i love the buildup to the first air raid. Its a bit preachy and hammy in parts but the effects are amazing for the time it was made. I did notice that this rip is too dark in places. The one hosted on google video was better quality.

  • This film is about science outreasoning anti-science. I see that there's a kind of techno-dictator at the end; but, he's not being a dictator; he's reasoning with people; hearing them out; he allows anti-science people to speak in public; he warns the people not to come into the gun when firing.

This film is anti-tyranny; it says a society of a scientists commune; and it shows the contrast between them and a tyrant dictator after the hundred years war.

  • Accuracy was not Wells reason for writing this story. Rather, it was his own abhorrence or war and the darkness it brought to the world. An allegory, as it were, for a future struggle with ignorance and illiteracy. Like now...

  • Good film. Good story. For its time - and even today. No complaints. It was free to watch and enjoy!

  • Ah yes, the future according to the fabian society. I saw cell phones and big screen tvs. Some parts I could see were borrowed by Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow.

  • I love it... the main character's name is "Cabal". Dreams of Illuminati. Love this flick.

  • Yes the globalists and transhumanists got started early in their mental preconditioning and quest to conquer and rule the universe. Wells was quite instrumental in establishing the notion of social engineering by "the illuminated ones."

  • By the way, ads suck.

  • @usstropicana They really do, dot't they?

    They suck so much.

  • @usstropicana ad blocker plus :)

  • H.G. Wells was nothing of a prophet. He was constantly guided by "others". 95% of humans killed by war and viruses, 500 000 survivors replenish the Earth, global government, perfect world.... Doesn't ring bells ? Agenda 21 ? NWO ? Stuff was planned 100 years + ago. But we are waking up. Plans are going bad. They are late in there schedule. 2001 was a bookmark "they" lost. Listen to "Cutting Through The Matrix" with Alan Watts on Republic Broadcast Network (RBN). Your jaw will drop.

  • Although it seems Hg wells was a prophetic, he did predict a war would erupt in 1940, just a few months after world war two actually started in 1939. He predicted trench warfare and chemical warfare as well. Needless to say the special effects are ahead of its time, none of this Cgi we have today would compare with the imagination of Hg wells or William Cameron.

  • Actually, I prefer martinis.

That way I can just sit back and laugh while the rest of you kill each other.

Good riddance to mankind, a plague on this earth.

Only 10% of humans will survive (the good ones). You Feeln Lucky Punk! ???

  • So boring. I can handle slow but this is torturous. nowhere near as good as metropolis. I'm actually letting the movie play while I type this so it can be over quicker. I love old movies but this is outdated as hell. Thumbs down if you disagree!!!

  • How about the Segways. Such a prediction!

  • Utterly amazing film, especially when you remember it's made in 1936. Perfect companion to Metropolis. Thank you for posting it!

  • ah ! everytown ! At least in hindsight the film shows you what The empire wants to force the world into. Coffee shops starch fried bisquits liquor firearms and tobacco and always remember: shoot the wandering people ( birds bees and everything else ) that isn t Everytown

  • @quackstarinc And rape the our home exploit every ounce of life and resource everywhere

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH ALL THESE COMMERCIALS??? FUCK THIS YOUTUBE SHIT.

  • At 37:30 "The Brotherhood of FreeMasonry"....Yeah, they've got all of Lucifer's answers!

  • I have not yet seen this movie but base on the comment of other (the first thing i read is the comment of others) but for the first 15 minutes i can guess, acting to me is not important after all this is a movie the story is the most important, and i am just wondering that others should be thankful to YouTube for having movies here (Hey lads this is free be glad) so just dont make any negative comments if the movies shown here are not to your liking think that what is bad to you is good to other

  • The on going theme in these early New world order idea based propaganda films is that people are ignorant. As long as we can think freely, anything is possible. If you cant understand that, this film would make you believe its outcome, and consequently only answer it suggests.

  • This is a movie on socialist technocracy as it was dreamed before the war. Now we know that socialist technocracy is unbearable.

  • @metacosmos yeah look at denmark

  • @MrBillcale What is wrong with Denmark ?I was thinking in UK under a labour party, on Australia,on ...

  • @metacosmos i was thinking that denmark norway sweden etc were examples of social democracy doing well or even france their health care their trains their world class nuclear power all top of the line technology even america or japan cannot surpass le anglais the anglo saxons are ass holes under any system they choose Tiocfaidh ár lá!! the french at least tried to help us.. they were just too busy screwing around eating cheese and drinking wine

  • @MrBillcale Yes, Sweden and Switzerland have been the most interested since the 50`s in getting a perfect country with jobs for everyone and Medicare and help from the Government, as well as in Australia and NZ. But the idea comes from the Socialist Utopians such H.G. Wells who mixed socialism and technocracy. I don't believe in technocracy now, it is a sort of dictatorship.

  • @metacosmos what about denmark??? and flexicurity it is technocratic and still very democratic too..

  • @MrBillcale I have never been in Denmark but here everybody talks on the Finland Welfare State as the best.By Technocracy I mean a State where science and technology are the only and everything is planned by scientists and technocrats... and I hate them as I am a philosopher.

  • @metacosmos there has to be a balance..philosophers have good ideas but produce nothing

  • @metacosmos descartes was my favorite philospher i think therefore i am

  • @MrBillcale Aristotle is mine.

  • @metacosmos What IS socialist technocracy?

  • @kevinastraw Australia is the sample of it.

  • @metacosmos A socialist technocracy has never existed in real life, so we honestly don't know if it would work or not, much less if it would be 'unbrearable'. Perhaps you should stop swallowing extreme right wing propaganda whole and unquestioning and try to think for yourself.

  • @plucas1 Australia is a technocracy and it is socialist some years when the Labour party rules. The Australians took the inspiration form H.G. Wells novels as himself was a technocrat socialist.

  • great visuals, however the acting is incredibly stiff

  • shame its basically nothing to do with the book...

  • "All the universe or nothing, which shall it be?" Balance is better.

  • Vatican-Pope-Jesuits-illuminati-NAZIS-CFR (luciferian jews) run the world. All secret societies, organized religions ruled by an elite bloodline, same bloodline ruling from Egypt 2 Rome British (European) Empire - America Empire (1913 Fed Reserve. Presidents & King stand at whim of the real power which is the priest hood (Priests - Bishops - Cardinals - Pope) standing behind the throne - trying to form it's one world luciferian gov't.

  • @ceboym Story by FreeMason/Satanist HG Wells who's girlfriend was Eugenicist Margaret Sanger.

Made to prep the World for WWll and beg for The United Nations"...

"The Hegelian Dialectic" in action "Problem, Reaction, Solution"...

Excuses to take your Rights and Wealth work like clock work every time.

Herman Goering probably loved this film as much as Edward Bernays.

  • This is the best SciFi I’ve seen in a while. With a script containing timeless questions such as should we continue to progress technologically, is world government the answer, and aren’t we all victims of our own human nature. I loved the “gas of peace”. The scene modeling is unbelievable. It has a great script and good acting. I’d like to see someone do a movie version starting in modern times.

  • Check out "THX 1138" (1971, George Lucas debut) which used the same tagline: "The future is here."

Google: "predictive programming" (subliminal indoctrination technique)

  • Awesome film!

  • Great film... classic over all ...
