I have this card also in my computer. Its a good card. I've had no problems with it. Runs every game out there fine for me.

Well kinda hard to figure out unless I know some info on your computer your motherboard and power supply unit

If you don't know them look up belarc advisor and let it find out your system copy and paste all the info it shows about your motherboard proccessor psu that kinda stuff and paste it into a private message and send it to me i'll find out for you

GTX 260 is better, but the 9800gt isnt really that different. Just get the 9800gt such a great card for an even better price.

yup a gtx 260 is better but you can still max out ALL games with a 9800gt so why pay an extra 150$ just for a little better card....games i can max out at 1680x1050 x2 AA are....Crysis,Grand theft auto 4...ya know all newer games...so a 9800gt will save you money for nearly the same performance;-)

i have a question, how big of a difference does it make if its installed in a pcie x16 slot instead of a 2.0 slot? what exactly does it effect on games? im about to get one but i dont have a pcie 2.0 slot and i heard it makes a huge difference???!!!

its a very big difference, the 2.0 runs about 10-15% faster. since you dont have a slot, you cant take advantage of it, but its really nice to have!

Finally installed it with the update from Nividia because the cd is useless and the PNY's website is not working! Wow, what a difference from my integrated Nvidia 6150SE graphics card to this! It's like night & day. But it seems to be running very hot at 74 C. Maybe because my factory installed TV tuner card is less than a quarter of an inch right next to it so that could be restricting airflow. I wanna keep the tuner but can't relocate it because it's on the only PCIe X1 mini slot available!

I just got mine today the XLR8 1GB version with a Corsair 550 watt psu from TigerDirect! Will be installing very shortly!

Is yours the 1GB memory version? Mine came in a smaller box.

I think you talking aboutthe S/PDIF cable. Thats if you use your HDMI Adapter so you get sound out. Is on your sound card if you have 1 or on your motherboard its diffrent on every M/b

guess what has happened, im not very good on installing stuff. Can you please tell me how to install it. I have stuck it in, bought a 600wt power supply cos my old one was not enough. Please make a video or something showing me how to do it!!! I tryed plugging it in but every time i try ot install drivers it says that i cannot locate the device or something like that. PLZ HELP!!

Normally you just plug it in and install the driver that came with it, or download one online. What problems are you having?
