Well, I did myself, about two years ago, i never had anything in mind with these but actually they are a great add-on, a great tool especially when it comes to easy on the fly home recording. good musicians have always made use of the tools of their time and why should one only listen to the critics or make everything digital automatically appear bad...i like it and i think that you will, too.
