@macharmon1 I ended up figuring out that I didnt have the shsh blobs, I used iFaith on a Windows machine (grrr) to fix my iPhone. Hope that helps anyone else. It took me forever to give up and switch computers lol

@steaks44 Delete the hosts file in the etc folder :) and replace it after with the adjusted version ^^ it will work, had same stupid (irritating) issue! Good look :)

Hey dude. I'm having real problems with this when trying to upgrade my 3gs to 4.3.3. I've tried editing my hosts file in every way, adding #'s and spaces, deleting the gs.apple.com, and deleting the whole line, but nothing works. My hosts file now looks like this...
