Bob, I love these Latin tunes. I didn't realize "Green Eyes" came this early. I only knew the Jimmy Dorsey version, but this is much more authentic of the style.
@bsgs98 I bought this record about a year ago. I didn't know the song was done by this band till Prozoot asked if I had it. I found a copy shortly after that.
Pax, I am a music lover and try to share it with as many people as possible. In fact almost all my friends I met through music. Your post are always interesting because they show things I either didn't know about or I had forgotten. I'm in the process of restoring a lot of 20s and 30s piano music (around 1500 titles), but have not yet reached a quality level that I'm comfortable with. But I definitely will be posting the highlights of them.
Thank you Pax. You've made my day quite often these past few weeks with your great medley postings. Often well known numbers, but versions I never came across. I've put you high on my list of favourite posters.
@syncopeter Thank you, I appreciate that. I see that you are a frequent poster on many channels. I view my channel as a sort of radio station. I know that some songs are here already but I also know that some people may not come across them. I also keep trying to improve the quality of the transfers. Thus why I have reposted some of my earlier posts. Thanks again for watching.
The first one is like the pigeons here, a bit cumbersome and always in your way. Poema is a beautiful classic tango, one that makes my feet itch. Dutch Malando (Arie Maasland) made many of these too. His grandson now leads the orchestra and it is still great.
And of course the third is THE classical rhumba, one of my fav dances.
Two greatly arranged tunes...

Great! All I have is La Paloma done by Cugie and Dinah Shore, 1938. Nice to hear other versions.

@syncopeter Ah, I thought I would present them this way so that the best came last. I have several Molina sides and like them all.
