The problem diana has is her weight.. because the music industry can not afford to waste their money on people that would one day turn out to gain their baby fat back again.. and she is constantly going up and down.. ITS HER DOWNFALL.. I LOVE HER MUSIC.. but its a reality of why music EP's turn her down...

@syworld82 Actually, Diana is thin and toned (saw her in Hair on Broadway recently and she looks amazing) and hasn't been more than a size 6 since Idol. She's very tiny in person too.

Even with bad management she had a #1 single fans worldwide, not too bad. She has now grown into a powerhouse and the worlds needs to hear her ne songs. Its pathetic that Taylor Swift is selling millions based on hair flips and explosions, no voice - and DD has the goods.

I honestly don't care if this girl ever gets another shot at a reclaimed music career.

If she tried to make it once and failed, then there's not much possibility for her now, 5 years later. Her EP "Unplugged In Nashville" from this February, has been exceedingly helpful! The music industry is one of the most un-promising, most "ify" industries to try and make it in. Though, Diana has done just fine in moving people and has found peace in the difference she is making with her vocals! Go D!!

This song will be a huge Country Hit if ever released - better than 98% of all country stuff out there today, besides Carrie. Wow, the vocals and emotion are amazing - plus the lyrics are very done done. Nashville please sign Ms. Degarmo now !!!!

This girl has got the potential and I believe her Country album will do successfully well. A lot of artists take a long time to put new projects, she has just been searching for her niche in the music industry and has finally found it in Country Music. Gone Country definantly gave a bigger launching pad than Idol, and she will succeed greatly!

I wonder why she hasn't released her sophomore album yet? It has been 4 years since her post-idol album "Blue Skies" was released. It seems to me as if she keeps fluttering around from one area of the music business to the next. Recording Artist with RCA, to Broadway, to RnB producers in Atlanta, to Gone Country and the country genre, and then an almost return to Broadway for Godspell.

I want to see her make it big, and I am a huge fan, but I think she has been keeping us waiting for to long!

Diana definantly has anointing to her voice when she sings- she moves people and ushers in such a presence! Her Country songs are very impressive and will most definantly propel her as she heads into Country Music. Can't wait for the new album!
