  • 3.5 lb trigger connector actually gives a 4.5 lb trigger pull. This would only be a potential legal issue if you had an accidental discharge and hurt someone. If you are going to pull a trigger, then the trigger should be comfortable for the user and that can vary widely. Some 1911's have about 2-3 lb trigger pulls and 1911's have been carried for 100 years. Actually having a lighter trigger may make you more accurate and less likely to jerk the trigger and send a round off target.

When a citizen commits a crime, they lose their civil rights (constitutional) so how can a criminal after committing a crime then attempt to sue a citizen for damages when they have no civil rights, such as the right to sue? That applies for the criminal's family if the criminal died in his criminal endeavor also.

  • Overall a very well done video thanks.

  • I don't understand why a 3 1/2 lb. trigger pull would have any more legal ramifications then a 5 1/2 lb. trigger pull. As to the idea that you would automatically end up in court because you shoot someone in self defense isn't actually true either because the police investigation determines if it was a justifiable shooting or if criminal charges will be brought. If the criminal or family member of the criminal doesn't bring a civil suit there would be no need for court either.

  • Looks nice! Seems like one part is never enough when it comes to mods, one always Leeds to another :-)

  • yaawn!

  • Has there been a single case where a modified gun was used against the shooter in court? If it's a good shoot then it won't matter what you used to shoot them. I don't know why people spread FUD about modifying their guns.

  • the lone wolf barrel jam jam an jam again

your pin gone get rusted they are not stainless get stainless pin from lone wolf

  • Every pistol is a target pistol, just sayin'.

  • i bet that ported barrel is loud as fawk.

  • Dude hope you have purchased the TFO Tritium/Optic sights,You will dig em.

I got em today & they straight Rock man,

Best of both worlds night & day combo.

I would grade them as an upper echelon sight,

    Glock-On..

  • You sound just like Jon favreau

  • why is the barrel coming out of the gun...is that an addon to it

  • @doctoralsmd what I do is never keep a round in the chamber and that acts as a safety

  • How much do these cost?

  • Hey, you said you used to use this as a carry? I'm a bit worried as there really is no "safety" on the G17 except for the "Double Trigger" which I don't see as a safety whats so ever? Any insight on this? I can see numerous ways for it to go off accidentally while carrying considering if your carrying it live.

  • I don't see how they can use that 3.5 pound trigger pull against you. and what does the OJ case have to do with anything.

  • How has the stainless steel guide rod worked for you? Can you tell a difference in performance when compared to the original factory rod? Keep up the good work on the vids!

  • idiot.

  • it looks really nice

  • Hey cutlerylover, you don't change your "trigger pull" you change the spring or the connector or both... Aside from that and the compensated barrel, what mods have you made to your gun? I noticed the polished parts and the extended magazines... anything else?

  • Hey cutlerylover, you don't change your "trigger pull" you change the spring or the connector or both... Aside from that and the compensated barrel, what mods have you made to your gun? You mention you made a lot of modifications...

  • is that a stainless slide switch?

  • n mn m

  • It's not like the police in America are just pulling there guns out at the drop of a hat, it's a last resort. Just as I don't pull mine just because someone wants to fight I do my best To resolve it with out harm. Haven't had to pull mine yet, imagine that!

  • This is the problem in America, you don't understand that if police carry guns, it brings more violance, I live in London and you don't see police patroling walking with guns. Guns only have to be used in a situation were you really need one, not use it as as a threat, it makes things much worst

  • Comment removed

  • Are u a cop or u just keep it on u?

  • @dalbir122 Hes not a cop, he used to concealed carry it, but now just uses it for target practice.

  • Would it be practical or possible to polish the slide down to the stainless look? Don't own a Glock to check myself. (That is my preferred style to a completely blued gun...)

  • @RegainTruth the tenifer coating on glock slides are extremely durable it woudltn be practrical to sand it down too much work and it woudl look like crap, BUT if you like stainless steel look you cna buyt a aftermarket slide and add parts to it, wolf makes them for glocks...

  • @cutlerylover I was thinking a chemical removal and then a polish to finish the process. When I hit the lottery I will try it and make a video... (Freaking inflated economy...)

  • @cutlerylover wait wolf like wolf ammo

  • @cutlerylover At 1:30 you mean the crown not the defence. You will be the defence weather you choose to have a lawyer or not.

  • It wouldn't . you really think some one that was defending themselves or their family is going to face punishment for legal modification that increases your chances of survival in a life or death Situation!

  • I guess you dotn know any lawyers personaly then...some are real assgholes and do what they cna to win cases, and turn simple things into dramatric contraversy...not to mention twist facts around, shit man look at the OJ case...

  • @dalefuego21 im a proponent for using a gun for home and personal protection dont get me wrong here but hear this out. id rather die in my home a free but unarmed man by choice then defend myself (legaly) and sit and rot in jail for murder or manslaughter because a lowlife decided he wanted the silver from my kitchen.

  • @fanofCOH Except that every state in the US allows you to protect your home with firearms with no repercussions...I'd personally rather kill the person threating me or my family/belongings, AND be a free man.

  • @Speedogg138 problem with this statement is that even if you do truthfully kill the man in self defense. their will be a jury and police department trying to prove otherwise and it has happened before where one who rightfully protected himself, his family or someone else and was still convicted of murder.

  • @fanofCOH Well in NY, one of the most anti-gun states ever, a few weeks ago a drunken man walked into the wrong house being arrogant and violent not knowing where he was. He was shot and killed and the home owner got off free, as it should be. You can't be a pussy about shooting someone to protect your house or you might as well have a sign on your front lawn that says "Rob, rape and kill me, all you can eat". I know I am happy to have my 9mm in my house for HD.

  • @Speedogg138 i never said i dont want a weapon to protect myself. what i did say was that ill be damned if i shoot a man legally and get jailed for it which like i said, has happened a time to many. i dont live on my own i will admitt. i live with my parents and two sisters. one's 13, ones 4. i beg my parents to get at least one of our 15 shotguns and keep it in the house but they wont do it lmao. sooo i keep my door locked but keep knifes, the next best thing.

  • @Speedogg138 as both sisters sleep on my end of the house i find it to by my job to protect them as my parents both have failed in this duty. since i cannot have guns in the house(again, i wish by god i did) i use my vast collection of combat, butterfly, throwing and bowie knifes to protect them and myself. ill be damned if some thug is going to come into my home on my watch :D

  • @Speedogg138 I know this reply is really late, but that's insane. Man comes wandering in drunk, doesn't know where he is, probably going to pass out soon, and that means you can kill him? He's an idiot who had too many beers, not a sadistic psychopath hell-bent on raping anything and everything in sight. If your the kind of person who is allowed to own a gun in the U.S, I'm sure glad I don't live down there.

  • @TheJoshy1992 But then again you have to consider that fact that you're just being a troll dick right now, and that plays a big part into it.You have no idea the circumstances, the state of mind or the choices either party had.So, thanks, but no thanks, mate.

  • @Speedogg138 #1 Tell me how I'm being a troll, when I say that shooting a drunk man who probably couldn't do much harm anyways since he is drunk.. certainly a sober person, who's apparently responsible enough to be trusted with a deadly weapon could find some other way to deal with him besides, oh he's in our house.. I'll just kill him. Perhaps throwing him out, and calling the police? I'm all for self preservation, but I would never kill a man unless he meant to kill me. Grow up.

  • @TheJoshy1992 Trolololol. Grow up? How about this: Go fuck yourself. You have no idea what you are talking about. "I would never kill a man unless he was meant to kill me." Yeah, and the rest of us are just blood thirsty. Hell, I go on mass shootings every Sunday. Reminds me, better get ready. Get the hell out.

  • @Speedogg138 Bitch at me all you want, but all your doing is making yourself look like more of an ass then you already have.

  • @TheJoshy1992 Sure. :)

  • @TheJoshy1992 Just because you may not be around drunks enough to know any better or the drunks in your town of pansyville may all be liberal pussies like you doesnt change the FACT that most drunk are VERY unpredictable, and can turn violent at the drop of the hat. He stated that the drunk was screaming so that to me would mean he had turned violent. Im not going to risk my life and well being no matter if a person is drunk or not. If Im at home and feel threatened I will shoot to kill also.

  • @Speedogg138 #2 Did you ever think about why the police use non-lethals? Or do you really think it would be better off if everyone who ever did something stupid while they were drunk should be shot in the head? Not everyone deserves to die, not everyone is looking to murder you, and rape your family. Until you realize that, you shouldn't even be allowed to touch a gun.

  • my I ask how a trigger job is going to make one look bad in court ?

  • @anonslulz666 it really doesnt

  • nice vid..did the barrel help u with accuracy at all?

  • i would get a grinder and grind off the extra barrel and sand the inside 2 make sure it still shots but with that it would feel uncomfortable conceiling it bcuz i would use a holdster

  • why woudl I grind off the barrel? I cna awlays replace it with the stock barrel that came with the gun...this is no longer my carry gun, thats why I modded it out...

  • I think he forgot his helmet...

  • just out of curiosity, where exactly would you take this gun when you carried it?

  • grocery store, walmart, gas station, deli, public bathroom, out to dinner, lol, everywhere I went...

  • LOL

  • A big guy?Your hands are puny :P

  • there is no refference for my hand size in this video unless you own a glock 17..

  • where did you get your aftermarket parts

  • glockparts...goodle it one word..

  • Your sight picture will be messed up sinvce you are putting a Longer Sight radius pistol to a shorter one. You should check what the front sight height is to make sure you can hit your target with your 36.

  • Well, the issue is with a lighter trigger pull you can have more discharges and possibly end up shooting an innocent person in the process. During a combat engagement adrenalin kicks in and people dont notice pulling a trigger. Combat handguns should have a 4 to 5LB trigger. Target or Competition guns can go down to 3LB but most NRA rules require 3 1/2 LBs.

  • you can get a stock for a glock,i guess it would be just for fun but with a stock you half to notifie the government and half to put it under a short barrel rifle and you half to pay $200 tax,but still i think it would be cool

  • useing the slide lock wears down faster

  • man u this guy talk to much. lol nice gun though alot of info

  • What video do you refer to to at 9:45?

  • a video by HELLZZARMY...I dont remember what video it was though...sorry

  • As long as you full length resize your brass before reloading you shouldnt have a problem with shooting reloads in LW barrels.

  • jeff, are you still using the 4 lb firing pin spring? Have you used the gun with and without the 4lb firing spring in conjunction with the 3.5 disconnect. And do you notice any difference???

  • where did you get the barrel....how much was it. and that is bullshit a law abiding person being given the 3rd degree for using his 2nd amendert right and doing what his is allowed to do...go dam this is why we need mike huckabee or ron paul in office in 2012

  • glockparts, its a wolf brand barrel, most aftremarket barrels from worlf are betweenb $110 - $130

  • Be careful on changing front sight as many of them are not reusable. I too have a Glock with night sights that I don't use for carry or evening shoot. It would have been better to have regular white sights.

  • Firearm modifications lead to legal ramifications?

Please cite your sources for this ridiculously outrageous claim.

  • hes talking about if you put a 3.5 pound trigger on and put on other mods and you use it in self defense, the defese in court can make it seem like you made your gun easier to kill people

  • I challange you do find a court case where that precedent was set.

The statement he made is completely untrue gun magazine/gun shop rumor.

If you are justified in killing someone, it does not matter how it was done or what your gun looked like.

A good shoot is a good shoot.

  • Glock is one of the firearms where you can rack the slide without dammage. But , I heard that letting the slide slam foreward whilst the gun is empty on a 1911, u can dammage some parts like the ejector.

  • Good call on the conversion. Although I shoot my Glock 17 without any aftermarket parts, and it is still decent. It is true though, unfortunately the law frowns upon gun carriers, making it harder and less legal for us. If you carry a completely stock Springfield XD .45, it would be a lot less frowned upon than a 1911 Springfield with custom sights, skeleton trigger, and comp. guide rod

  • Nice gun

  • 1488?

  • Those are some nice modifications, I like how your Glock developed. I found chrome parts on a website recently and it's interesting that you achieved a similar effect by polishing the parts. One thing that surprised me though... are the pins on your Glock metal? On mine they are plastic so I guess polishing would not do anything.

Until now I didn't even realize that the extended slide stop on my Glock is typical for the model 35; I took it for granted. On other Glock it looks tiny indeed.

  • Since the 35 is a target model I woudl guess it coems standard with the extended slide release, but I didnt know they had a plastic pin set for any glock? thats news to me...but you cna always replace them with metal ones, but before I did that I woudkl inbvestigate as to why they offer them in plastic there might be a reason?

  • Yes, the extended slide release is standard on the 35. I checked again and I might be mistaken on the pins. The third pin (the one that holds the trigger housing) is plastic while the others seem to be steel indeed. I find it a little hard to tell and to me the pins seemed all to be plastic at first. Apparently only one of them is.

  • whata cuch hopefully if someone tries to fight u u fight hand to hand u dont pull it out like a wuss only pull it out if u gonna get jumped shot at or arnything thats not a good clean one on one fight

  • if i think somone poses a threat to me or my family i will take advantage of my gun. that what it is there for..hopefully just pulling it will be enough and i really hope i never have to shoot anyone

  • not if its a one on one fight just fist i would feel like a punk but thats just me

  • i think thats kinda of a punk move if its a a hand to hand fight na mean

  • can you do an updated video of your full gun collection and go through each gun one by one?...

  • You should've just sand blasted the parts, then you wouldn't have to sand them.

  • soudns good if you have a sand blaster..I dont...

  • Have you shot your XD yet?

  • editing the video right now, haha, I will upload it soon...

  • cant wait to see the finished product

  • nice 33 rounder!

all you need now is the Glock 18, LOL

  • dude you should polish your trigger, that would look awesome!

  • I cant, the stock triggers on glocks are polymer...not metal, but you cna buy cool aftremarket aluminum and stainless triggers, they are just expensive...

  • By doing that to the pins, is that going to loosen them up any to the point it becomes a problem?

  • blacked out is cooler

you should get a threaded barrel and a silencer.

  • Silencers are too much of a hassle, unless you got a lot of money.

Need a judge/sheriff(or other acceptable authority figure) to sign off on a form, send that form in with 200 dollars to the BATFE and wait for approval and then and only then, can you acquire the silencer... and you'd be lucky to find one under 900 dollars.

  • I plan to eventually get a supressor, but your right it will take from what I hear about 4 months to get it, plus the price of the supressor ($500 usually goes up from there) and the $200 tax on top of that...so evfentually Ill have the decision of buying a brand new nice gun for like $700 - $1000 and walk home with it that day, or bu8uhng asupressor and waiting 4 months or longer to get it, lol...

  • Usually gun stores can get the suppressors and cut the red tape for you... I was in a gun store (I'm in idaho BTW) and this guy just walked in, flashed his CC license, and asked for a silencer. They let him use it on a rental gun, and after he paid for the silencer, taxes and an additional 100 dollars for dealing with the feds they told him to come back tommorow to pick it up. I'm not sure where you live or what kind of stores you have, but they should so the crap work for you.

  • I dont know about that, soudns fishy for sure, probably illegal, but hey I dont know the Idaho laws, I had assumed the class 3 weapons laws were nation wide...

  • Class 3 weapons laws are everywhere in the US, but this particular store had done so many class 3 transactions that the BATF here set up a streamlined registration process just for that store. I mean, background checks for pistols and class 3 weapons only last 3 hours. On top of that,it sounded like the guy had bought a silencer from them before.

  • well if thats the case the thats lucky for him...my mlocal dealer is actually not licensed for class 3, so if I am even interested I have to travel 45 minutes to get to the closest class 3 dealer by me...sucks even more, haha

  • that's too bad... in my tiny ass town of 5000 we have 3 gun stores, 2 of them are really nice and 1 has class 3 stuff.... right now they have a yugoslavian AK-47 and a super shorty... :) living here is great.

  • First, no Class 3 weapons laws are not everywhere in the U.S. Some states don't allow them, period.

Second, there is no stream-line for class 3 weapons. I also doubt the guy went in and flashed his CCW and got a suppressor out and done with.

You sure he didn't flash a Class 3 FFL, which would allow him to make such purchases?

An average citizen IS NOT going to get a suppressor without a signed approved form/tax stamp and the BATFE IS NOT going to set up an express for that gun shop.

  • First: I meant that class 3 laws are the MINIMUM laws anywhere in the united states, being federal laws. And there may be no official practice, but when you sell maybe hundreds of class-3 items a year, the BATF might get tired of the massive amounts of paperwork and start giving you priveledges.

    2. Why would he buy from a gun store if he already had an FFL?

He paid for the suppressor, plus 200 for the tax stamp. The store just did the legal stuff.

  • No, you don't get privileges from the BATFE.

There are also various reasons why he may buy from a gun store when he has an FFL, I know several who own FFL's and buy from regular gun stores... Having an FFL does not mean you have a large business or actually deal in guns.... One can retain an FFL so that they can ship and receive guns from other states for smithing purposes.

  • In such a case, it'd make sense that they went to a gun store to purchase a fire-arm as a large dealer will get the better deals from their suppliers than a person buying single fire-arms...

Also, an FFL can't do the legal stuff for you.. If YOU buy a class 3 item, YOU still need to get the signature from a judge/sheriff, stating that you are not a criminal and they have no reason to believe you have intentions to use the item for criminal purposes..

  • There's no reason to- you could get the same gun online for cheaper, and especially a silencer. It's a very small dealer that would not buy in bulk. And you get priveledges from the BATF when someone who works for them is probably your neighbor. And you don't need an FFL for guns that still need smithing.

  • First, to be a gun-smith, in order to send and receive fire-arms FROM customers, you'd need an FFL.

Second, ordering a gun online is a risk. Some people simply don't like to do it (you can't see the gun to make sure that it is in fact, in good condition before hand).

Third, no, you still don't get special privileges, no matter who your neighbor is. Having a neighbor that is a BATFE agent doesn't bypass the requirement to have a signature from a judge/sheriff in your area...

  • Also show me where, online, you can get a silencer? Show me where you can get it for cheaper...? Even if you could find it online, you'd still have to wait until the form is approved.

Going through a shop or online, is NOT going to decrease the wait time on that. Sorry, I don't buy it. . But by all means, give me information to your shop and I'll email the owner myself and ask him if he gets special treatment from the BATFE..

  • It's a very small dealer that would not buy in bulk.- ossum

Either he's a very busy guy who does a lot of business that would warrant the BATFE granting him special privileges, or he's a small time dealer that doesn't. Which is it? As of right now, you're contradicting yourself.

Fact is, a gun store isn't going to get special privileges from the BATFE...

However, I can give you a list of ideas as to what actually was occurring and how your scenario might actually of been a legal deal..

  • That is, if you're willing to listen. I will say this though... It was NOT an average citizen merely waltzing in and buying a silencer and walking back out with it or skipping a process that takes everyone else months.

  • Sounds illegal to me..

The states can only make laws allowing for or banning Class 3 weapons.

It is the Feds that control all else(I.E. Tax stamp, signed form, long wait time). Something's not right with this kids story... He likely saw something else...Or heard the story wrong..

Something else went down for sure... Whether it was legal or not is another story as well.

  • *facepalm* I'm not arguing that states can make their own laws, but idaho has the bare minimum of state laws regarding guns. We ONLY have federal laws, which is very rare. Like only 4 states do this. The gun store is a well known sporting store, owned by an ex-cop and his brother. That might explain why he gets special treatment from the BATF. And he's NOT going to do something illegal, I went in and he was fully aware of what ammo types I had a right to buy as a minor.

  • How's the sheriff in your area for signing off on stuff like that? Good reputation or bad?

  • Our sheriff requires you to take both a gun safety and marksmanship course to get a CCW permit.

  • ... and I fail to see how that has anything to do with class 3...?

  • not sure if you were asking me or not? Anyway I am lucky my sherriff is 100% pro gun and even adds self defense to everyones applications as to why they want to carry...

  • Yeah, was asking about your sheriff signing off on a form for a class 3 item..

Ours in Chester Co. will usually sign off on forms...

One of my best friend's dads had 2 full autos and silencers for each... Think he sold them though.. lol which sucks..... I would of liked to shoot 'em.... at least I got to look at them... So for 5 minutes i got to view greatness...

  • it's weird seeing sleeves in your video man, it's freaking me out,lol jk :D

    Great as usual

  • lol, its funny you saiud that I felt wierd with them down, Im that guy that even with long sleeve shirts I usually pull them up to my besipes, just feels wierd to have them down, but its been gettign cold here lately, lol...

  • please get a edc update

  • please get a new edc UPDATE

  • that was one f k i n long update lol

  • Why does everyone extend everything on their glocks ???

  • looks cool but i think you need more chrome ;) try finding a chrome trigger and a chrome slide cover plate! that would look epic!

  • that ported / extended barrel looks awesome. any noticable difference in muzzle flip?

  • Rock out With Your Glock Out.

  • Yesterday I saw a video ("Dummy / Training Ammo" by GunWebsites), that might add something to your training. The guy puts a few snap caps randomly in his loaded magazines. They simulate stoppages and make you do a tap, rack, bang.

  • Is there a mod to make them easier to purchase

    in NJ? lol!

  • Yeah, it's called a permanent move to Pennsylvania, lol.

  • u should get a chrome slide for that G17 Cutlerylover lool

  • Why is there a problem with a 3lb trigger pull with the law?

  • i really have no idea. Its not like you're going to be five minutes away from winning the case and they say, but wait!!! He had a 3lb trigger pull. So that means he shot the guy for no reason!

  • lol, yeah but you never know what the lawyer might say!

  • liking the new barrel 5*

  • FYI, If your nightsights are installed from the factory, the front site will be staked in from the bottom and is not reusable. Kind of a bummer.

  • The newest Glocks all have screw-on front sights, even the plastic sights.

  • is there precedent for gun mods making self defense difficult to defend in court?

  • dont get the recoil buffer i got it and put it in with the stainless steele guide rod and my gun was jamming every shot and as soon as i took it out it didnt jam at all so i dont even use it anymore

  • Navel Jelly will take care of cleaning up the rest of the slide release.

  • nice 33 mag! i like the huge out of proportion look!

btw, what is the biggest they make for mags?

  • on youtube theres a 100rd c mag (drum) but the biggest mag i saw 2 buy is a 33rd mag

  • you could also make the Glock 17 in to a Target gun/House defense.

  • so you watch my vids and that is a cool gun

  • Enjoy the res of my day, yeah it's eleven fourty

  • I was wondering about that too. The Glock 17 is a quality piece!

  • me and my dad share this youtube acc so i useually dont watch your vid but cauld u look into higher qualty gun's?

  • like.. what kind of higher quality guns are you thinking about?

  • il have to ask my dad what im thinking about but.. just higher quality guns

  • u should put a foldible stock and drum mag :D

  • Great mod! You have great taste in knives and firearms man!

  • Also with the extended slide lock/take down lever. Will this extend on both sides of the gun or just the left side? Kind of would look weird if it was left side only since the lever is on both sides.

  • itsd both sides, you wil also notice the serrations themselves are ALOTY sharper, so easy to grip ot.;.

  • Where can I find one of those extended take down levers? I have XXXL hands and taking down the Glock for fieldstrip can be a hassle.

  • glockparts dot you know what, lol, sorry cant post links...

  • oh for the slide release use a dremel tool. works wonders.

  • my dremil broke a long tiem ago, but I need to replace it its is such a useful tool..nah for this job I had to do it by ahnd, sucks and took a while but worked out ok...

  • nice. i love my dremil for everything.

  • dude this is effing awesome no joke. i love that barrel. im gonna break into your house, anally rape you and then jack that gun.

  • lol, why the rape...the closest thing that comes to my hole is a bar of soap...sorry bro

  • ahhahah! LOL! im JK! love the vid. :D

  • I know, haha
