Meh. I've only seen a few wild ones. Stay towards the center of the state if you go, around the everglades. Out there you can see gators, lizards, everything... Orlando, not so much.

i live in orlando and with global warming things are making it up here -- no basilisks yet though. my new back yard pet is a puerto rican crested anole. it looks like a small brown basilisk.

florida getting a lot of feral populations of foreign species -- like basilisks and iguanas -- but also birds like quaker parrots and fish like croaking gouramis.

the weirdest thing to me i have seen are the crabs. you can see them in miami. hundreds of big fat crabs running around in groups.
