Yes, but as it is not a classical piece, the conductor is given the liberty to do as fast or slow as they may please. In my opinion, when I played it at least, there should have been some more expression (like a good ritardando or two, and a slightly slower tempo). However, they did a pretty good job with this video.

i love swearingen's writing here. its really good for the lyrical sections being split between entire ensemble, brass, and woodwind sections, as well as a really good low wind part. cresendos and decresendos are also used pretty frequently, as well as pretty sweet percussion parts. its a great younger band piece all around.
