in it's class, the RX-8 does beat porsches, not the gt3 here, but the Mazda in it's class has been a thorn in everyone's side for a few years now.

Oh, the main thing I wanted to comment on is that "Zip Tie" in the camera... lol, just pointing it out for those that wondered what it was.

we are not afraid of porsches here in the United states not when we have peripheral port 3 rotors . Diego just needs a fine tune.

Guys!! Im a mazda fan but the RX-8 in this video dosnt have much in common with the road car RX-8. It has a highly tuned 20b triple rotar engine and would be much lighter then standard. The road RX-8 would never be able to keep up with a porsche GT-3 haha i mean come down to earth guys.

Damn man! Never thought I would see the day an RX would beat the crap out of a Porsche. The Porsche in the vid is a GT3 right? Because if it is... Damn! Great driving skills too by the RX8. Power really isn't everything! Keiichi was right!

Es el caballaje del motor (engine dyno). Usa una motec para controlar ignición e inyección...

Yes, it´s a tube frame car, with a 3 rotor (20B) N/A engine. It´s got about 475 HP and weighs about 2150 lbs. We´ve been fine tuning many things including mixture maps, as it should also be faster or the same as the Porsche in a straight line....
