  • He moves so fast! You'd be knocked out before you know it.

  • yip chun is a joke. sell out. but if he wasn't a sell out we might have never got to see yip man's videos he made before he passed away.

  • some commentary in english would surely helped people who dont have extensive knowledge abt wingchun, anyways good video ip chun's focus and the efforts he has put in learning this art is evident by just lookin at his face when he does those movements, he hardly blinks

  • still so young, eh?

  • i get inspiration see u style fight ^^ thax

  • is this real? :)

  • Is that Ip Chun ?

  • BRUCE LEE'S MASTER!!

  • @MeLikeGtaIv

Why are people giving this person thumbs up, this is Bruce Lee's master's son, Ip Chun, not Yip Man.

  • @StadiumHot wrong. actually if you want to be technical about it, wong shun leung is the one who actually trained bruce lee the most, Ip man didnt want to teach too much stuff to bruce lee because he was part white..

  • @Frequent2001

Bruce Lee himself said Yip Man was the only person he would ever call his sifu. Yip Man initially trained him, then he left him in Leung's capable hands. Who trained Wong Shun again? ;-)))

Wong Shun Leung was highly underrated, though.

  • @Frequent2001

Anyway, my initial point is, this is not Yip Man yet some people are confused.

  • i thought wing chun was invited by a woman up in the mountain side.

  • A MILLION THANX FOR THIS.PRICELESS

  • @diagreen u dont get it do you --" , are you learn martial art just for kick some ass ?

  • @AsianLovePotato i never said "kick ass".sorry if i offended u.i dont no martial arts

  • love the way how skinny he is, and still break somebody in 2 that is having 10times more muscles, a real respectfull master.

  • its ip man n he was bruce lees master

  • I can do the same

  • LAZY 19 PPLS

  • @everyone ---> the best of anything is the Founders, the one's who follow and take what is placed in front of them are not any better than the Founders. The Founders created from Nature and themselves. Be a Founder! On a side note when looking outside the box, don't forget what's still in the box, add to it and leave it for the next person to experience! Just my free sense! Miles of Smiles to all!

  • Great and respected Master!!... indeed a person with great ability ...

  • @MLandero86 i bet that guy can fuck you up in few seconds

  • love how he does it slowly, it's such a nice exercise for your hands, i'll start doing that every morning thnx for sharing

google KevinCombat, thanks and carry on soldiers:)

  • thats not wing chung what he do it Ving chung

  • thanks for posting video of a master practicing his art. very cool.

  • só eu que falo portugues aki é???

  • Bruce Lee invented Jeet Kune Do from this o.O

  • @Avp86 umm this is just the basics of wing chun.....wow

  • @bumbasi89 But it's still Wing Chun, and I knew that already.

  • @Avp86 the more advanced techniques of wing chun is what lee based part of jeet kune do from, u can see it when he uses it in enter the dragon

  • @bumbasi89 C'est le Grand Maître Yip Man, un peu de respect.

  • @Avp86 yes

  • @Avp86 and about 4 other different arts

  • @Avp86

most of bruce lee kicks are from tae kwon do. hence jeet kune do tae kwon do.

after training with ali he changed his stance from the traditional wing chun and switch to sort of shuffle stance where he bounces around a little like a boxer type.

take what works... take out what doesn't was from ip man.

ip man is the real father of mma.

  • @Avp86 Bruce Lee didn't invent Jeet Kune Do from Wing Chun only. Bruce took multiple martial arts, combined their strongest points and created Jeet Kune Do.

  • @Avp86 Don't be mistaken. Jeet Kune Do is pretty much Wing Chun... Just a couple things taken from arts with more groundfighting techniques and other western fighting movements.

  • @Avp86 Jeet Kune Do invented itself out of need, Bruce was merely the vessel. Still thank God for Bruce.

  • owww~~ i cracked my wrist i don't wanna do this anymore lol jk (showing my pansy-ness) xD

  • Do you want to try my wing chun style? Or my Wutang sword?lol Man I wish I could have trained under him.

  • LANGWEILIG!!

  • thanks for the upload this is properly brilliant!

  • TALK TO THA HAND, BITCH!!

  • is HE the guy?? is HE.. HIM?? the Legendary???

  • @BobZOMG84 thts his son lol

  • @Cnk530 owh.. i tot it was him.. lol

  • @BobZOMG84 i think so....

  • I am not officially training under a Wing Chun master, however I have for the last 10 or 15 years done my own personal training, using a mix of martial arts, my favorite being Wing Chun, which I previously knew as Jeet Kun Do, as a fan of Bruce Lee, and someone who belives his death very honorable, I hope to one day be a great martial artist, even if the martial art is only used for self preservation, and not for the sake of hurting others, or for tournaments. I look up videos on yt for WC.

  • @SauceGhey nothing wrong with tournaments. yea its a bit of a show-off. but if u learn martial arts, u know that u wanna test it out. tournaments lets you test your skills and train as well. ITF tournaments looks fun. i wanna try that out.

  • @SauceGhey Sorry dude, buit wing chun and jeet kun do are different martial arts. Wing Chun is an ancient Chinese martial art which he studied in his youth under the Wing Chun Master and legend, Yip Man. After Bruce had developed to the point of mastering Wing Chun he then developed a more stream lined formless martial art which he named Jeet Kun Do. Unfortunately the mastery of Jeet Kun Do died with Bruce Lee on that fateful afternoon on the couch of his Chinese mistress, sad, truly

  • @rjsw80

Debatable. Bruce Lee himself said that "I did NOT create a new martial art or way of fighting." Jeet Kune Do was a philosophy, not a martial art.

  • @rjsw80 Wing Chun is not 'ancient' martial arts.

Jeet Kwoon do was more about philosophy of how to fight rather than about fighting with a set techniques. My trainer trained in jeet kwoon do and he teaches me kicks . I am actually getting better than many wushu and taekwoon do practitioners in kicks , who have trained for years, although I still have to make my legs stronger to take damage I am scoring many points against them in sparring.

  • @rjsw80 And bruce lee with his mistress.. seriously It seems you are one on the persons who believe anything they hear without proper investigation and like to advice others to feel important. Few centuries does not make anything ancient, I think I will do and practice a dead way of fighting while you think how to respond and make yourself feel important.

  • poor...same basic techniques come wrongly

  • @ Axelthedude

i all fairness you can't see his full stance...you dno't see the position of his feet or his horse stance so you probably ain't getting the full picture...

  • @ Axelthedude

there is the cliche that no question is a stupid question...but i believe that only allies to children and adults who really wanna learn. please don't make the mistake of acting out such a stupid question...GOD forbid someone physically shows you what the hell he's doing...

  • i wanna learn wing chun

  • @SombersTale- Im learning Wing Chun I just started 2 Friday's ago and this Form is very helpful in Wing Chun. It can transfer your power from your punch into your finger tips. Wing Chun is 1 of the most effective close combat Martial arts

  • @mrshernandez every martial arts is effective, but only as effective as the one doing it. there is no better one, a judoka might even drop down a wingchun master in close combat :P

  • @333metalfan-Judoka, Its most prominent feature is its competitive element, where the object is to either throw or takedown one's opponent to, immobilize or otherwise subdue one's opponent with a grappling maneuver, or force an opponent to submit by joint locking or by executing a strangle hold or choke. I don't believe the fighting style can take down a Wing Chun master. If I am up against someone taller or stronger than me I am not trying to grab them that would be jus ignorant on my part.

  • @mrshernandez wow that's awesome! yeah i heard its really effective and banned from some tournaments and stuff

  • @SombersTale- Yes Wing Chun is highly effective. It teaches not only the body but the mind too. Helps gain muscle memory as well. Very respectful

  • the hell is he doing?

  • @Axelthedude Wing Chun

  • @Axelthedude it's the form, without the form ur unable to do wing chun perfectly

  • @Axelthedude called, siu lim tao, (kind of) it is a form no 1 (sort of) after years of this you progress to biu gee, another form within wing chun. ( sort of ) ;-) lol

  • that i have training by my last training too ^^

  • that i must do at the time too ^^. is that here Yip Man ?

  • I'm making my own style of fighting just like Bruce did, The Tao of Wing Ping Pao.. Gonna do some right now. How? With the power of Pao...

  • That's the guy who taught Bruce lee

  • Omg this is the ing Chun that I am learning :D

  • NEW MUSIC GROUP CAN DIN SKY

  • Peace and understanding. Training 4 fighting takes an expert. Training 4 love only takes our heart.

  • muito bom perfeito

  • For the ones watching this video, Never fear or underestimate your opponent. I am a student of wing chun. Love the video.

  • @TheRealWizzu and you are...? Lmao a grandmaster of wing chun? No dont think so.

  • brazilian like ip chun eu sou do brasil e um prazer falar com vc

  • old asians can't drive for shit but they just might hand you your ass

  • @zazzhands Me & my friends said the samething to one asian guy... then we start to fight with him. then ..He killed two of my friends right infront of me... dead. The police took his side of story... & I went to jail ....still having hard time adjusting to society..

  • hey i just got my ass kicked by a differnt race then mine 2 and might be going to jail for it , but im sure theyre not all like that , the society is messed up not the people, y do people have to starve when we have food to make on our own lawns. your stronger now. sorry about your friends man.

  • NEVER EVER underestimate old people,

he'll whoop your ass like a kid

  • wheres yip chun

  • Yip chun is Yip Man's son , isn't it ?

  • @ElmerFudd19 yes

  • @antherz i think he's his second son , the first was " Ah june "

  • Try latin women **busizz4me.info**

  • @silicon605 bruce lee was what you would call a dreamer and invented one of the most effective forms of martial arts so what you said is incorrect it is thinking outside the box that has achieved if you went back even 100 years ago and said you could make a bomb that could destroy whole countrys would they believe you? do litter comments with caps lock and ignorance

  • @Tokin420BUDZ You talk like you know the stuff. I would bet you don't.

  • @Tokin420BUDZ you dont thing it was more like.. Bruce took the essence of the art away? According to Shaolin, there is no difference between Kung Fu and exercise, it is certainly not for war. All Bruce did is turn it into a fight. Mind you, I loved Bruce, cried when he died..

  • @Tokin420BUDZ Bruce Lee didn't invent it.

  • @MrDeViLsSnEeR yes, bruce lee didnt invent wing chun, ng mui is the one who created, then yim wing chun, leung pok to then ip man, ip chun then bruce lee and so on

  • @silicon605 Why so many Caps? Parents are related?

  • Great! Donnie Yen hhaha :)

  • Excellent!

  • He's definitly not doing the form as his father Yip Man did. In my view, he's making many mistakes. Flowery uneconomic moves, no respect for the straight line principle, the elbow is not kept in...

To people interested in Yip Man style's Siu lim tao (or Siu Nim tao or Sil Nim Tau, whatever...), go check the form by the master himself two weeks before he passed away. It's just a click away. Don't bother with approximative imitations like this one.

    "Respect is earned." So true!

  • @TheRealWizzu and you where taught by the son of Ip man? Thought so...

  • martial arts love business in martial arts con business i hate to see it , lmao

  • I have fought students of this style. Got my ass kicked. So i learnt it. I was in primary school. Then through hi school i learnt thai boxing. I see how wing chun can destroy thai boxing and vice versa. People have tried to take me down. Only to be put off balance and stomped on. All styles come down to who and how its done on the spot. Along the way i learnt and taught many, but what i use on who is what it comes down to. Knowledge of your own weakness comes first.

  • If everyone spent as much time practising as they did arguing they'd all be masters by now. You cannot judge any fighter you have never touched hands with. You dont get to be one of the foremost authorities of anything in world without some real knowledge and skill of your chosen subject. There always seems to be far more opinion out there than wisdom. The more you know the less you need to show, fools never know who they are!

  • @Marriagison Goddamnit i'm a fucking fool.

  • @Marriagison "The more you know, the less you need to show" ... ... ... I close my case. Some people see the power in the biceps, others in agressiveness... But they don't know where real "power" is... The more you know, the less you need to show!!

  • martial arts isn't about getting into fights its about questing for knowledge and power to know ones self how many fights you've been in is irrelevant, your knowledge and physical ability will decide your fate in a battle regardless of how many battles you've fought. peace out my wing chun brothers

  • Truly sorry, but I can't watch Wing Chun done by a man who's never been in an actual fight. Once again, sorry.

  • i wonder why ( no offence ) ip man in his age is bald? or is it that in his 30's he would have hair? just questioning, but no offence.

  • @rancy240 thats yip chun yip man prob was still alive (idk) but he wasnt this young wen they came up video with color.

  • @silicon605 FUCK YEAH CAPSLOCK :D

  • @silicon605 finally someone who gets it! Bruce didn't give WT a chance to become what he sought after by creating JKD. High level WT practitioners follow wingchun concept, and have the freedom to do whatever movement is appropriate for the situation. But I think the main reason he left it was for movies. And for that he thought he needed flashier moves. He traded dance lessons for those flashier move, never learned the other styles he does!

  • @joedrock1 Dance lessons? Hmmm thanks for the input!

  • Old man has pure POWER

  • I remember doing this when i was 12 at that time i took tae kwon do and wing chung at the same time. This brings me back.

  • @bbestar hehe, im 14 and have been doing tae-kwon-do for a good few years, but only just started wing chun 8D

  • this is ip chun? ip mans son?

  • @WingChunFahri Definitely.

  • @silicon605 I forgot I even responded to this video idk why ya had to respond now. Three years? where does it say that? Bruce Lee was in it for nine years from the time he was 13 to his twenties when he started teaching in the U.S.

  • @silicon605 Ip Man AND his sons deserve respect (Ip Chun/Ip Pui) Ip Man fought for and defended his people with his bare hands..he was thrown down so low..yet he took a stand and succeeded anyways (courage and will) His sons carried on his ways and continue to promote Wing Chun through their entire lives (dedication and honor). There are many cases of misled arrogance..everywhere. But its how hard we work to succeed and overcome our obstacles that determine respect. :)

  • ese viejo es muy lepero, le pinta mocos a todos.

  • i giveee you de rice....AND THEN I TAKE IT BACK AND CHOP OFF YOUR HAND!

i giveee you de rice....AND THEN I TAKE IT BACK AND CHOP OFF YOUR HAND! and repeat

  • he looks like the bad guy from enter the dragon lol

  • i learned the same in german wing chun school,

    fucking great

  • Hey!! look at the title guys! it says "Original Wing Chun"!! LoL... And you know anything that is original is probably not so good since its poorly developed.

  • @Auxillia -_- what an ignorant fool.

  • @Auxillia <<<<< WTF???? lolol

  • The way he's doing this form it's so slow that it's almost tai chi. I mean this isn't like the wooden dummy form where his arm is almost like a machine gun is it?

  • I wanna go balls deep in yer eye sockets. Bil Jee style. lol

  • learn this shit. you won't look back

  • Any idea where I can learn wing chun in Singapore ?

  • @stickruz23 - Safra Toa Payoh but under reno now. Maybe u can call and enquire.

  • @ JackDawson:

Says the guy who's youtube background is wallpaper of Titanic. XD

  • yip chun rocks,i just learned this tao yesterday from my sifu

  • karate kid martial arts style? maybe its not karate probably wing chun?

  • I bet the most people don't even know what he is doing, but you have to learn moves like that before you can even fight

  • true legends never die

  • youtube.com/watch?v=ash3CY-9Ovo

  • @yeshiification Your welcome. Thanks for the reply.

  • muy buen videoque leyenda sme cae estos si eran grandes entre los grandes maestros del kun fhu no mamadas de hoy dia dan mas risa que ceridad

  • this is pure awesomeness

  • awesome thats a master tape !

  • im so high and this sh..t trip me out

  • @TommysCAT me too XD

  • Long Live Master Yip Chun!

  • i just want to make clear that ye wen-yip men is a person and yong chuen-yip chun is the stlye of fist that he created. btw, great legendary martial artist, my respect.

  • @silicon605 Same to you buddy. And thanks for the feedback. I always enjoy conversing with fellow martial artists. Much respect and best of health to you!

  • @silicon605 I agree with you. However, i believe that yip chun and yip man did earn their respect. Also, even a negative opinion can be voiced with class. Some of the comments on here sound like they are coming from the mouth of a 5th grade girl. And your right about the so called "sifus" today. Although there are still talented and undeluded martial artists today, many are "dreamers"; It is a sad time for the martial arts. True skill and competent masters are very hard to find.

  • @1mataleo1 truly one who believes in being a true martial artist. Too many sifu who teach good systems rest on the laurels of their lineage, dont challenge concepts, being fixed on form in the worst way(form has a place mind you) and forget that kung or skill in the martial sense must be fluid not fixed even in classical systems! The classical systems(of which I am a student of) arent usually taught right today. I thankfully have a true Sifu in that regard. My respect to you. *bows*

  • @Bastion83 Couldn't have said it better myself. The true purpose of a form is to instill a principle of movement or a martial concept. Once the principle is grasped, a person souldn't be bound by the form. And indeed it is very hard to find a Sifu that teaches the classical systems in the correct manner (probably because many so called "masters" don't understand the art themseves. Much respect my friend *bow*

  • @xHizukax wow...

  • This is just intense, it shows the dedication in which all martial artists give to their art. I am very glad that Yip Chun, Ip Man's son... took the time to have someone record him do these forms. This is just incredible.

  • nada que decir lo mejor

  • I really like this video. Yip Chun's form is excellent. His powers of concentration is to be envied. If you watch closely he displays acute awareness of multiple simultaneous body movements and positions, continuously makes conscious adjustments to position, while maintaining almost faultless posture. Execution is near perfect precision. No one I know of has attained perfection in any discipline. Yip Chun is a wonderful representative and teacher of Wing Chun.

  • yip chun is yip man's son, rite? i just saw the movie. it was awesome!!

  • I just need some clarification on this video and by no means is this bad mouthing this guy because he is part of the lineage that we all look upto. I notice that when he goes into tan sau, his elbow is way off fist distance from his hip. What I need to know is, what is the correct distance for the elbow to stop when this part of Siu Nim Tao is being performed??? Bearing in mind I have only been doing this for a couple of months.

  • @posix32 how you seeing the tan sau its how its suppose to be done. HE IS A LEGEND

  • a very good move from master yip man. thank you very much for video

  • @akatsukitensei01

Correction, It's Yip Chun peforming. Yip Man son

  • @rtype1206 oh.. sorry, they look alike.. haha... father and son..

  • all respect to this ols legend ip man, one of the best. i would be scared if he would be my enemy
