  • Whats the name of this song?

  • I have Arachnophobia.

  • @TheSlapFight me too, I love that movie!

  • not a great list the Sydney funnel web is the deadliest spider on earth one bite you have about 8 minutes before you are dead none of these others are even close

  • @MrDannyboyhall Your wrong, Brazillian Wandering Spiders are the most venomous spider, not the Sydney Funnel-Web Spider.

  • @MrDannyboyhall The Tree dwelling funnel web is more venomus than the sydney funnelweb. and the world most venomus spider is bannana spider AKA wanderingspider. get ur facts right.

  • what a stupid video!

  • ive held a tarantula

  • your video is super duper crreepy and discusting. That is just gross.

  • Spiders definitely creep me out. I know that leathal bites are rare but that is one way I really don't want to die. That and a shark attack. Yikes! Being from Alaska, the worst thing I have to worry about are bears, moose, and wolves. Thank goodness.

  • how can daddy long legs be venomous?

  • @MrsWalkers1994 Agree with what you say except: Spiders have chelicerae too, it's why they're in the subphylum chelicerata, but theirs are hollow and carry venom. Opliones have 3 part chelicerae with no venom.

@seeuonthe502 get YOUR facts straight. Don't go spouting that you know what's true when you're obviously wrong. Daddy long legs do not have venom glands, it's a myth. Look it up.

  • There are female black widows. Female black widows eat their mates.

  • Just wondering are the red back and black widow related also the mouse and funnel web look very similar too

  • Comment removed

  • @GeneralG1810 Dunno about the Red Back and Black Widows, but they certainly look related, yeah? But the Mouse Spider...I really hate just the look of them. They're tanks compared to a Funnel Web, plus one sex/species a very prominent red thorax. I'm not sure if Mouse Spiders are as venomous as the Funnel Web, but I reckon they'd be close. I know if I I was bitten by a Mouse spider...I'd die of pure fear. They're tanks, I tells ya. Tanks!

  • @blackpeter70 LOLz so what your tellin me is that theyre TANKS LOL

yeah they are kinda beefy, but just the shape they look a little like the funnel web, ok but not quite as TANKY

  • @GeneralG1810 Yah, exactly. But have you got what it takes to tell the Mouse Spider he needs a diet?

  • @blackpeter70 Nah if he's happy with his figure who am I to judge an animal that can KILL me

  • @blackpeter70 mouse spider are not as venomus as the funnel web but they give a more painfull bite and also often gives a dry bite. however the venom are close but the funnel web is a bit more potent to kill ;)

  • @Veggis76 Lol, cheers for that. I'm not exactly the King of Research. But the Mouse spider just looks like it means business with those ultra-fangs they're sporting. It's strange, to be totally fascinated by something that would scare you to death if you in close proximity with one. WARNING : If you watch one of tarantulaguy 1976's vids, be careful not make jokes about exterminating the buggers - he will actually block you from making any more comments. Nice, if you're a fascist, I suppose

  • i heard somewhere that black widows are really just male redbacks. is this true, seeign as ou guys are all spider experts?

  • omg people who cares about daddy long legs or watever you want to call them?

  • If the hobo spider's only #9, we're in big trouble. NASTY bites.

  • Good grief people, I have a spider book and it says Daddy Long Legs are not, in fact, spiders. Let's stop arguing until we can ask a scientist, ok?

  • I thought the white tip spider may have been in there some where , i heard they can cause gang green and make your skin rot !

  • seriously a hobo spider

  • @bubblegumbubblegum13 Um yes, they're pretty bad.

  • daddy long legs is the venomous spider in the would there two big legs cant reach u when there chring to bite u but they do got a couple amounts of venomou in there fangs

  • daddy long legs do spin webs btw. im from australia and they are everywhere, as common as ants. they are arachnids, regardless of the silly facts you may have heard, but the poison thing i wouldn't know about. i have heard they have it, but who knows. and black widows and redbacks only bite if you fuck around in their webs :P so really, there is no real danger. now excuse me while i go wrestle a CROCODILE not an ALIGATOR (there is a difference, whatever that may be)

  • @darquene The difference is that crocodiles often have more narrow bodies and are MORE aggressive. You may well be wrong about Daddy Long Legs, the person with the top comment has the most info there.

Red-backs and Widows ARE dangerous because you don't always see their webs.

  • a daddy long legs is very poisonous just to small of a mouth to pierce through out skin

  • For those of you that are confused, there are two creatures with the name Daddy Long Legs. The first is the Daddy Long Legs SPIDER. The second is the Daddy Long Legs, no spider attached to the name. This is because it is not even an arachnid. Arachnids are classified as having eight legs, and two body parts. The thorax and the abdomen are those parts. The Daddy Long Legs does not have an abdomen, it only has a thorax. I've known the difference since I was eight, so come on people.

  • In the U.K if we see some tiny spider (-------) <-- this big in real life, we get freaked out. meanwhile in australia theres black widows under toilet seats. and people wrestling aligators o_O

  • @imNerdz That was kind of an ignorant thing to say.

  • @XxPanzerkrieg Im in the U.K , I love Auzzie's braveness. What's so ignorant.

  • The number 9 spider is the one that inhabits only my town and a couple others!

  • i thought red-back is the same as blackwidow??

  • daddy long legs are not venoumous

  • @Trick5ter1234 they are the most venomous spider in the world there fangs are just too small to bite through anything.

  • @ThESiLeNtMoVeR1 What a load of rubbish. Their fangs will pierce skin (barely), but they produce small amounts of very weak venom.

  • All spiders in the family Hexathelidae are dangerous. Sydney funnel-web (A. robustus), Spanish funnel-web (M. calpeiana), etc.

All wandering spiders are dangerous. Brazilian wandering spider (P. fera), (P. nigriventer), (P. boliviensis), etc.

  • Spiders are venomous on the genus and family level. Widows, are all dangerous, western widow (L. hesperus), southern widow (L. mactans), northern widow (L. variolus), red widow (L. bishopi) & the brown widow (L. geometricus) are all venomous, and all in the US. The red back (L. hasselti) is just another widow, that is in australia.

All fiddlebacks are dangerous. Brown recluse (L. reclusa), the chilean recluse (L. laeta) etc.

  • 5) Wandering spider deaths are not well recorded, really, we don't know shit about their venom in terms of killing humans.

  • 4) "The Chinese bird spider is a rather aggressive species, one that will not hesitate to bite humans if disturbed. Its venom is the subject of much toxicology research, and while the effects of this spider's bite on man are not well documented" so how the fuck is it a top ten most DEADLY spider if it hasnt killed anyone?

  • 3) Hobo's have been proven to not be dangerous, read some research so you don't spew BS

  • 2) Black widow? Which widow? L. mactans? L. hesperus? L. variolus? or L. hasselti again?

  • 1) Red back (Latrodectus hasselti) is a widow spider.

  • wow

  • we have the. brown recluse here where i live and their venom is deadly but the worst part about it is they hide in shoes and places like that so you can get bit easily but their bite isnt one you feel you could have no idea they bit you until it's to late.

  • hobo spider?

  • As for the mouse spider, Queensland Museum will be releasing a video, through their YouTube channel, about them very soon. This will compliment the Funnel-Web one already there and many others are on the way.

  • There is an insect known as a "Daddy Long Legs" and also a spider know by the same name. The urban myth about the daddy long legs spider is that they are very deadly spiders but their fangs are not long or strong enough to bite humans. This was attributed to daddy long leg spiders eating the red back spider and it's eggs.

The fact is that the daddy long legs can and has bitten a person, however their venom is not toxic to us.

  • ehhh the most venomous spider is the one who bite peter parker..

  • You f u c k e d up bastard what kind of person puts up a video like that

  • That Eastern Mouse Spider is totally alien and bizarre. Wow what a nightmare! I'm not afraid of spiders in general but that one is truly freakish.

  • @bugpal You can find Mouse Spiders in gardens all over Brisbane, you just have to know what your looking for. Their bite is very powerful with long fangs, however they rarely use their venom. Their venom is more toxic that the Sydney Funnel-web so I would still not risk getting bitten.

A boy was bitten by one near Gatton in Qld and was envenomated but he was successfully treated with Funnel-Web antivenin. Keep and eye out on the Queensland Museum YouTube Channel for a video on these soon.

  • Those of you saying that a daddy long legs spider is venomous need to look up the Mythbusters episode "buried in concrete".

  • the 7 almost look like a z

  • oh fuck me why am i hear =(

  • @gman2268 because you ar awesome friend

  • @wrath2222o totally man totally

  • fools, spiders don't exist. muahaha

  • @Scorpion77Lover Yes they do they just can't inject you (or anything else for that matter) if they could they would be one of the most venomous spiders in the world.

  • @UNITDW they are not spiders, read my reply just below or just look it up, they are not venomous, that is an urban legend.

  • Okay everyone, zoology lesson, daddy long legs...more correctly named Harvestmen, are in the class Arachida and order opiliones. Spiders are in the order araneae. Daddy longlegs have no venom glands or silk glands and they are not spiders...they run down their chosen meal and simply hold on while they eat it. instead of fangs like a spider they have mouth parts called chelicerae, which are totally different.....Don't believe me, look it up!

  • @MrsWalkers1994 WRONG AGAIN!!!!

  • @MrsWalkers1994 yer.. actually that was a Daddy long legs 'spider' but it depends where you come form, the english call Crane flies Daddy long legs. Harvestmen have 6 legs not 8 and they are attached to a diffent part of the body than a spider. Harvestmen tend to live in grass and leaf litter, as opposed to Pholcus phalangioides (daddy Long legs spider) that have webs. But you can call a Harvestmen a daddy long legs if thats what your colloquial language calls them.

  • @MrsWalkers1994

Pholcidae, commonly known as cellar spiders, are a spider family in the suborder Araneomorphae.

Some species, especially Pholcus phalangioides, are commonly called granddaddy long-legs spider, daddy long-legs spider, daddy long-legger, or vibrating spider. Confusion often arises because the name "daddy long-legs" is also applied to two distantly related arthropod groups: the harvestmen (which are arachnids but not spiders), and crane flies (which are insects). Source Wikipedia

  • @MrsWalkers1994 thank you lol i get people not believing me all the time, they are similar to spider that looks like that and loves in caves

  • @MrsWalkers1994 we have them all over in Canada, they are harmless. My son LOVES to play with them, they just run away from him :)

  • is the hobo spider the one who asks you for change every time you walk out of a gas station?

  • this list is completly out of order and @Scorpion77Lover

your an idiot cause the daddy long leg spider does have venom, the teeth are just to small to harm humans, so get your facts correct

  • @seeuonthe502 you should really check your biology books, they are not spiders (more closely related to mites) and they have no venom glands....they couldn't hurt you even if they did bite you.

  • @MrsWalkers1994 Mrs Biology Teacher..maybe you should go to college again

  • @seeuonthe502 Actually they have no venom. Mythbusters even did a show on it. Just a myth.

  • the music helps so much not so scary as the last one i watched

  • Depends entirely on what you consider these spiders to be venomous to. If you mean humans then most of the spiders you showed shouldn't be there. There have never been any recorded deaths from a Red Back or a Mouse spider and definitely not from a daddy long legs. To the prey that they eat, different story.

  • Hobo spider, lol

  • Why is a Daddy long legs on this video lol

  • I saw a black widow in my hat I scream like a F*cking girl all my neighbors heard me xD

  • @SijMatzter no one got killed except the black widow xD

  • i had a hobo spider in my pant leg...

im SOOOO glad it didnt bite me!

  • @Scorpion77Lover Actually yes daddy long legs are very venomous there mouth is just not big enough to bite a human. That is also why they don't make webs they hunt their prey and kill it with their venom

  • @Scorpion77Lover - the Daddy Long Legs is the most venomous spider in the world. They do have venom glands. The only reason they can't bite you is their fangs aren't long enough to pentrate the skin. Lawyered!!

  • @kajukow no. The mythbusters injected the daddy long legs venom into a mouse and no ill effects were shown.

  • Daddy long legs do have venom an it's potent enough to kill a human their fangs are not large enought to go threw our skin that is why they are not a threat

  • @itwasntushaha even if the daddy long legs fangs were big enough the venom is pretty much harmless. the "daddy long leg is very venomous but cant penetrate human skin" theory is just myth

  • WHat IS this song?

  • this was wrong!

  • I like this way more!

  • You are wrong funnel web spiders are more deadlier than the banana spiders

  • @XxAxX16 I thought so too, but Guinness World Records 2012 say it's the Wandering Spider

  • @Breadfan01 I'm sorry. That was totally not my comment. I think someone is hacking me. >.>

  • I usually bring in the daddy long legs spiders because they tend to eat the black widows like rotisserie chicken.

  • Daddy long leg is most venomous, just its pinchers are to small and cant hurt you

  • @Mr556x45mm idiots like you pissed me off in middle school when I was telling everyone what the most deadly spider in the world was.

  • @JelloBoyFrozen Hey bro. i was just trying to show you something. Dont be such a dick

  • @Mr556x45mm

That is a myth. Sorry but your fact is wrong. Go search Google if you want.

  • R.I.P Headphone users

  • @HDFrezee the red back isn't a black widow. they are just biologically identical.

  • red back spider is black widow....?

  • @HDFrezee there diffrant species this vid is wrong because the red-back spider does the same damage as the black widow and red-backs are commonly found in Australia and black widows are more commonly found in America

  • SORRY BUT THE DADDY LONG LEGS IS NOT VENOMOUS THEY DONT HAVE VENOM GLANDS

  • @Scorpion77Lover Thats just the Opilione daddy long leg...The Pholcidae on the other had DOES have venom glands..

  • @Scorpion77Lover They do, indeed. They're extremely venomous, but because of the tiny size of their fangs, they're only good for feeding on insects. True dat! :)

  • @blackpeter70

    That's a myth.

    True dat! :)

  • @dragontrumpetare523 Lol, has Mythbusters done a show on God, yet? ;)

  • @blackpeter70 Hehe :P I sure would like to see that :)

  • @Scorpion77Lover The Daddy Long Legs has venom, they DO have venom glands, they're just not particularly dangerous to humans.

  • @Scorpion77Lover no they are ex streamly venomous their fangs are just to little

  • @Scorpion77Lover no they are venomous, there fangs are just to small to bite a human, but there prey is dead in a flash.

  • @Scorpion77Lover then how do they kill black widows??????????????????

  • @Scorpion77Lover

lol ahaahaaha they do you ıdoıt they just dont have bıg enough teeth to penetrate human flesh

  • @Scorpion77Lover

some daddy long legs are indeed very venomous. but they are'nt very aggressive and they are not strong enough to pierce human skin. so they are not harmfull to humans, but they are venomous

  • @melesNor They are not spiders. Utterly non-venomous and without fangs of any kind.

  • @Scorpion77Lover They have venom, venom glands, etc. but their fangs are too small for all that venom, so they can't actually bite much of anything, but still their venom is REALLY HARSHHHH!!!

  • @Scorpion77Lover not to mention that Daddy long legs, (more acurately called Harvestment) are not even spiders... they are more closely related to mites.

  • @Scorpion77Lover you need to up your research skills and common knowledge...YOUR WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Scorpion77Lover yes they do they just don't have big enough mouths to bite.

  • @Scorpion77Lover longer the legs the more poisonous.

  • @Scorpion77Lover they are most likely not even a spider =P

  • @Scorpion77Lover oh in addition the daddy long legs are not spiders they are arachnids...

  • @Scorpion77Lover it has to small of teeth to bite

  • @Scorpion77Lover

IT SO DOES, LOOK IT UP YOU F**KER

  • black widow is most poisonous spider

  • @MultiTristan2011 sorry but the Sydney funnel web spider is the most poisonous spider

the red-back spider and black widow arnt really that poisonous

  • Thumbs up if your feet are now on the seat

  • Nice vid, but the Daddy Longlegs (Harvestman) isn't a spider, but another type of Arachnid. Still, nice vid. I don't like spiders (or their cousins) but they fascinate.

  • I once had a brown recluse show up in my room in college, I don't think I've ever smashed anything faster

  • The music is so suiting...

  • I completely agree with the order as to which the spiders were ranked. Not many people know that there are 2 types of funnel webs and the tree dweller is much nastier than the ground dweller. #1 could be no other than the Brazillian Wandering Spider, Those are some bad ass arachnids that I plan on avoiding FOREVER. I think if ever encountered any of them in thier natural habitat, I would be forced to burn miles of goverment protected forests with a flame thrower.

  • fuck spiders

  • An urban legend states that Pholcidae are the most venomous spiders in the world, but this claim has been proven untrue. Recent research has shown that pholcid venom has a relatively weak effect on insects.[3] In the MythBusters episode "Daddy Long-Legs" it was shown that the spider's fangs (0.25 mm) could penetrate human skin (0.1 mm) but that only a very mild burning feeling was felt for a few seconds.[4]

  • type: Daddy Longleg myth (in youtube search)

    I REST MY CASE!

  • who will be the deadliest warrior

  • i have trap door spiders in my back yard and funnel web spiders

  • the `black-back spider`might be a black widow

  • the daddy long leg has venom but it does not have any fan

gs so it is just like if it did not have venom

  • @Darkline10310 the daddy long legs is the most venomous/poisnous bug in the world but fangs are not long enough to bite

  • @MitchellTheCake thats not true, it is possible to bite and rhe venom just itches, debunked story in mythbusters....

  • @marcuslatimer not cant bite

  • @MitchellTheCake That's a complete myth. Researchers have shown that the daddy long leg's venom is no more harmful to humans than a bee sting if not less than a bee sting.

  • @marcuslatimer Cant bite. Extract the venom of a daddy long leg and drink it. I dare you.

  • @xankrigor maybe you should do some research before claiming someone is wrong. It's an urban myth. There is absolutely NO evidence that suggests the Daddy long leg's venom is deadly. Infact, its been shown that the venom of a daddy long leg's can't even harm a mouse, let alone a human.

  • We have brown recluse spiders and black widow spiders in Mississippi and especially at my old house. You do NOT want to run into those. :(

  • KILL THEM ALL WITH FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @violatormelms kill ppl with fire lol

  • Why am I watching all these?... I need to go spider hunting around my apartment again...

  • What an epic failure that bonus is.

That bonus spider shown is a Cellar Spider, NOT a Daddy Long Legs. Major difference!

A Daddy Long Legs or HARVESTMEN is another name for the spider, not actually a spider, infact NO VENOM at all.

  • @SoulKiller7Eternal actually they contain more venom but just have too short of fangs to break human skin.... we would die in minutes if they could break our skin

  • @calebs1231 You have no idea what your talking about it fool. Daddy Long legs have NOOOO venom. Get your facts straight and don't buy into myths.

  • @calebs1231 People still believe that Daddy Longlegs story their parents told them so they wouldn't go playing with spiders? Nawwww cute

  • @calebs1231

they can break our skin and we don't die from the bite. Look up mythbusters and the episode where they breaks the myth about daddy long legs.

    nuff said

  • Daddy-Long-Legs kiills and eats Mama-Short-Legs (Redbacks). And hey, White-Tail spider is deadlier to humans than half those on your list. It's bite causes astute gangrene that can turn you into leprosy - unless you seek medical help. My GF now wears gloves to tend the garden because she once was bitten on the funnel by a Finger-Web and two weeks later was bitten on the tail by a White-Bum!.

  • @TheKoojee : You don't see very many white bums around here. Most of them are either black or beaners.

  • get a life u f------------- perfectist learn our new language or shut ur gob

  • u sir are wrong the most venemous spider in the world is the daddy long legg the only thing is they cant bite you i should know because i live in pennslvania

  • @adiff3rentsnow some people believed this but a recent study by scientists believe that this was just a myth for entertainment

  • @adiff3rentsnow what's living in Pennsylvania got to do with anything? LOLOLOL also learn how to spell where you're from correctly..

  • @jesusinacan2 yeah i know i spell like shit but it lives in penn

  • Did you know a bite from a banana spider gives you an erection? In Brazil we used to call it the osso de morte, or the death bone.

  • the daddy long legs fangs are not strong enough to kill a human

for more videos look at my channel because I am Zackyrayrf and i needed a new channel because i fergot my password

  • your an idiot bannana spiders not even poisonous and the brown recluse is way more venomos than the black widow and the most deadly spider in the world is the daddy long leg they just dont have the ability to puntre human skin learn ur facts !

  • @TechnoTexas he's got a point, wondering spider is only large if not the largest, it does have venom just not enough to kill or even harm humans(like a wasp sting) and in my opinion black widow and brown recluse top 2!

  • @roachielfc r u an idiot? the wandering spider`s venom is 18 times more poisonous that a black widow, dude read some books be4 u talk such BS, be4 an antidote was created each year 1k of people died in Brazil from the wandering spider... a black widow can`t kill a healthy grown human, check ur facts...
