I burned the game and it loaded and i have a black screen with a blue border and it says cdromo:irx sio2man.irx version 1.2 and a bunch of illegible things

hi thanks for the vid. but.. 2 problems. first is, your dummy file should be called something like '0.0' (that's: zero.zero), as you want it to be the FIRST file burned on the dvd, and so the rest of the files are stored further towards the edge of the dvd, meaning the ps2 laser does not have to work so hard. second problem: when using DVDSCAN, if the cd files include some folders, you need to manually scan INSIDE these folders using dvdscan, otherwise dvdscan will skip (and not fix) them.

when i was making the ISO on imgburn, i put volume and application as PLAYSTATION

nothing else....

if i patch the game with these settings it should work rite?

I did all that and when it loaded in my ps2 i just got a black screen. Do you have any idea what I might have did wrong?

@sittingduck422 I haven't tried this myself yet, but take notice this only works for PS2 games that are on CD, not PS1 games.
