The X15 delta was a challenge as well to get in to orbit the first time since the titian III is really fussy on when you perform pitch the maneuvers.

Though for some reason the shuttle is pretty easy even manually.

wouldn't you remove the fairing before the staging and while in the atmosphere?

Honestly I forget when was the exact moment for fairing release. :) But I do know that it has to be later during ascent, if the air is thinner, otherwise the drag would've still been substantial. But thanks for noting that.

Hey thanks :) I had some problems with the perigee but it was still good :) Yes I will do that soon, just trying to find a good stretch of time for recording the re-entry video.
