I Am a HUGE Fan of Nostalgic Sonic but do we really need the same games again like what about Sonic Mega Collection and SEGA Mega Drive Collection and who cares if you play Knuckles this game is like Sonic Mega Collection for the DS and can't you tell they're running out of names to call these games and also i think making the best Sonic Games on DS just makes it worse and Diddy Kong Racing is the only good game fore DS too
Good thing my dad saved his Genesis and the games for it. Although, it would be nice to take these great classics with me. On my opinion, I think Sonic was good until after Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.
If this is introducing people to the classic sonic games for the first time it should be a good first impression! poor ports like the one on the GBA just drag good games through the dirt! the Sonic brand doesn't need any more damage than ts already had.

@tryffel8 The sales suprised me too. When I went to buy this game, even though it have just been released, it was already on offer. Pokemon also released a few games lately and for some wierd reason, they put it on offer if you had a voucher(sp?) which could have been collected from various magazines. Is it me or are DS prices going down lately?
Thank goodness for emulators, or else this would have been a big deal for me. It would have been cool if you could play as sonic and have knuckles & tails as your partners. I'd be unstoppable.

the old sonics were always too hard. I beat sonic 3 on my wii once. sonic 1 didnt have the move where you can spin and dash foward, thats what i disliked from the first one

YAY! Classic Sonic on the go! And clearly with more time to enjoy it, unlike the Sega Nomad; the batteries drained too easily. I always needed a power adapter... Come to think, I actually can't believe I chose Nomad over Game Gear when I was younger.

Yep, I liked that as well. The problem is that SEGA may never bring the gardens back into games since people could cheat on them. I think that you could use cheat devices such as action replay and a thing called the 'Editior'* to morph your chao.
* = I'm not sure if that was the name for it but I've heard rumours about it.
Imo, though I would like Tails and Knux in it too (apparently they aren't playable, sadly...) I'll be happy w/ P.N. if it comes to the Wii (remains to be seen.)
To each their own; I thought being saddled with the board & upkeep of some imaginary creature was a waste of time; I played the game to break the sound barrier as a unnaturally-colored erinaceomorph! ~_^
I suppose that the information is more important than the music. Besides, the music in this video came in the more earlier editions of the games and various people may prefer the originals rather than the re-makes and so on and forth.
no they have the first Sonic here it's the 16bit megadrive/genesis version the 8bit music is from the master system version (sorry for the history program)
you would I suppose because it was on the Game Gear which is like a portable Master System they thought it would be more profitable to do a port for that
Well I only really know because I played on a lot on the Master System before I even had a Mega Drive so I can tell the difference (it's a really useless skill)
Regardless of it being a 3D game, it is still really good. If you like stuff like Sonic, then I would recommand that you play it.
It just so happened that the person that I am racing against is the same person who influenced me to play the games. He says that he always liked Ratchet since his childhood and he won't lose against me - we will see about that! Surely the amount of time I've spent playing platiform games won't go to waste. ^^
Sega don't mess up things that badly. If you want a good example of one that does, here's one - Pokemon from Nintendo. In the Japanese games, the games have so many crashes and bugs that it is unbelieveable! I've played one myself and I had to keep saving every 5 minutes to avoid the glitches!

chronicles maybe wasn't great for everyone, but it wasn't screwed up, just not everyone love rpg's

why we cant play with them?? I am not saying it should be like Sonic Darkhood or whatever, I want it like Sonic adventure Chao garden or at least like Sonic advance Tiny chao Garden.

Yep, I liked that as well. The problem is that SEGA may never bring the gardens back into games since people could cheat on them. I think that you could use cheat devices such as action replay and a thing called the 'Editior'* to morph your chao.
* = I'm not sure if that was the name for it but I've heard rumours about it.

yeah i know the memory editor, hmph.. The chao is created for Raising NOT Editing and morphing. ffs they were cute :)

Imo, though I would like Tails and Knux in it too (apparently they aren't playable, sadly...) I'll be happy w/ P.N. if it comes to the Wii (remains to be seen.)

I suppose that the information is more important than the music. Besides, the music in this video came in the more earlier editions of the games and various people may prefer the originals rather than the re-makes and so on and forth.

no they have the first Sonic here it's the 16bit megadrive/genesis version the 8bit music is from the master system version (sorry for the history program)

Well I only really know because I played on a lot on the Master System before I even had a Mega Drive so I can tell the difference (it's a really useless skill)

I've never played Ratchet and Clank but I have a friend who is a big fan of it and says it's really good so I will get round to playing

Regardless of it being a 3D game, it is still really good. If you like stuff like Sonic, then I would recommand that you play it.
It just so happened that the person that I am racing against is the same person who influenced me to play the games. He says that he always liked Ratchet since his childhood and he won't lose against me - we will see about that! Surely the amount of time I've spent playing platiform games won't go to waste. ^^

Sega don't mess up things that badly. If you want a good example of one that does, here's one - Pokemon from Nintendo. In the Japanese games, the games have so many crashes and bugs that it is unbelieveable! I've played one myself and I had to keep saving every 5 minutes to avoid the glitches!
