  • if you have a gun can you get it custom made

  • What does that all cost?

  • I have always wanted a side by side double barrel rifled slug gun with express sights to use as a "poor mans safari rifle" for deer and bear in "shotgun only" hunting areas. . . maybe someday.

  • The 3 1/2 inch slugs are loud I have 1

  • thats ok your fine lol

  • ok thanks

  • @ComptonCrip6665 Try it at Midway, USA

  • tira esa luneta mane coloca um RED DOG porra

  • hi whats the recoil of the 20ga compared to the 16ga and 12ga

  • @bluejay148 Less.

  • @bluejay148 pretty good recoil but as you may understand the 16ga and the 12ga have a much powerful recoil. sorry for my bad english

  • I like the laminate.

  • De the price to get it custom chambered, buy a 12

  • Good luck finding the 3.5in ammo, since Hastings closed down. The gun can still fire the smaller 20 gauge shells though.

  • Decent 100 yd. group....2000 fps with 400+ grain slug.... gotta kick...going with 20 ga rifled 3.5 inch shell makes a lot of sense...nice package !!

  • What scope it that? thanks. and is that a 12 or 20 Ga?

  • i have the 12ga h&r sluggun it doesnt kick that bad shot about 20-30 shells to sight it in

  • It's a slug, not shot.

It does kick like a mule. My shoulder was pretty sore after shooting this one.

  • @dvcdillon sure does. drill and tap the barrel for new sight?

  • why are the pellets not spraying....it looks like it is just hitting in one spot

  • @SpOrTsFaN4545 Cause its a slug not shot. that gun has a rifled barrel.

  • I heard this thing kicks like a donkey on roids.... Never shot one myself, so I was wondering if that is true?

  • dude illinois sucks, i hate it all this bullshit about foid cards and 3 days waiting periods before you can buy you gun

  • Looks like your scope wasn't quite zeroed. I don't know why else your grouping would be tight in the same place. That speaks well for the accuracy of the actual round you're shooting.

  • Highly accurate weapon; I would use it , if My 1187 was inoperable.

  • just a waste of time

  • Hasting went out of buisness... If you have one of these like me you better stock up or go back to 3".... :-(

  • god i hate living in illinois

  • what is the recoil comparable to with the 3.5 slug in a 20 gauge?

  • impressive.

  • This was before "Diabetus".

  • @OHFORSTANG diabitis :D

  • @charliepossenriede he was copying a commercial

  • @charliepossenriede he was copying a commercil he meant to spell it like that

  • @tractorman96 i know, i spelled it wrong too, i think.

  • @OHFORSTANG Haha epic!

  • ok, now that all the calibers all are 3&1/2" now, Hastings could be the first to come up with a 4" 10 gauge & 14,000 psi..

  • lol nice

  • My Remigton 700 special class africa edition is multicolored wood mopar43vr u fagit

  • the multicolored wood is hideous.

  • YOU'RE hideous. >=(

  • @mopar43v3r Agreed

  • @mopar43v3r your wrong

  • @max4hunter2 Its "You're" and I'm not wrong since its my opinion you moron.

  • isso euma maquina comprei uma aqui no brasil cal 20 mas nao eigual essa

  • sweet!!!!

  • I think perhaps I'd look at this as more of an odd duck, rather than a collectible. It's not that there's anything wrong with it, I just don't see the situation where this is the one right tool for the job.

  • this' my huntin gun. i have it wit a 3 by 9 scope, i could shoot a twig with this lol

  • nice shor really good group no awsome group but that gun kicked that old guy around

  • makes no sense

    completely senseless gun

better off with a 12 ga.

  • Very cool... I bought mine 2 years ago and it dont even say hastings 3.5 on the barrel I must have one of the first run editions... It only says 3" but it shoots the 3.5" Ive killed a 8 point and a doe with it and very little tracking on the buck and dropped the doe in her tracks. I love it for where Im at in Southern Michigan... just as accurate as a muzzleloader and I can reload a whole lot faster... Good shooting all...

  • very nice ! I love 20 gage. that is all I hunt with.

  • @getjagged you spelled gauge wrong, when its in the title of the video.

  • Who gives a shit....

  • @getjagged 20 gauge slug is the single most underrated hunting round on the planet. It will put a grizzly down in one shot and do so very quickly with a center of mass shot.

  • i hav that gun

  • ето он с 5 метров с прицелом стреляет ?))))

  • This would be a fun gun to shoot!

    I want a 12guage.

  • i have a H&R 12 gauge single shot it kicks like a son of a bitch but its dead on

  • I don't get it.. why dress up a shotgun like this? just get a rifle...

  • well your not going to find a gun bigger than 30-06 that costs less than $500

these are $200 and are beyond worth it.

it has the preformance of a $1000 shotgun. last a rifle won't be bigger than .50cal unless it's a muzzelloader and a shotgun has so many uses

  • I heard some areas do not always permit rifles but will permit slug guns.

I am not a hunter, this is what I believe I read somewhere.

  • Yea, places which are heavily populated don't allow rifles because the bullets travel too far and can hit somone. No rifle hunting in NY state.

  • im sorry but that is retarted. not every place in new york state is a city its actually mostly rural. look before you post

  • @scamperscamper1 I live in MY state, and just about everyone up here hunts with a rifle.....so I don't know where you got your information from. Theres a guy up here in my town that hunts with a semi-auto .30-06 that borders on being an M14.

  • for places that dont allow rifles for hunting

  • ok so question #2, if it has a rifled barrel, why call it a shotgun?

  • because its a gauge and you can still shoot shotshells out of it but it would suck because it would basically be a cylinder bore

  • @lexmark136 Because it infact is a 20 gauge shotgun. The slug is so heavy and so massive that the range will be much less than that of a centerfire rifle round that is 1/4 the weight and much more aero dynamic.

  • hornady makes sst slugs that go 1900fps. my wife uses them in her 20ga.. the 12ga ones go 2000fps... check them out.

    if you want

  • how much is that???

  • Yep, that will work.

  • is a 2 3/4" 20 ga a good shot for deer? or is it to small

  • @joedinaadi IF you use a sabot slug it will do very well on a deer inside 75 yards. Any other type of ammo will not be preferable for deer at any range.

  • Now this guy knows what he's talking about(beceause he has a scope on his shotgun

  • lol

  • i would have expected for that kick it would shoot a larger bulltet with a bigger hole at the end

  • @anonom919 i think its a .62 caliber bullet weighing over twice as much as a .45 slug and travelling 2.5 times faster than a .45 slug.

  • hey how good are these i use a remmington 870 winchester sabots

  • some nice grouping you got there

  • Man that thing packs a puck.

  • 12 gauge all the way

  • respectable? ya right those are extremely accurate for what they are or maby even in general

  • yeah respectable is 12 gauge cause I'm gonna shoot one this weekend I think but it's s cool

  • no one guy said its respectable in accuracy usually if your shooting shot the pattern is everywhere but the slug there has a very tight grouping which is good im 15 and i trap and skeet shoot every week championships start this saterday

  • Sweet! Make that in a pump configuration, or maybe even an autoloader and you'll have quite a potent gun.

  • why do you have a scope on a shot gun?

  • Because he's firing slugs from a rifled 20ga barrel. It's practically a rifle with big bullets.

  • Where can I buy a gun like that? I just turned 14 and my dad said he would take me hunting with him if I bought a gun.

  • you can't, legally. no guns untill you turn 18. He was probably just being funny.

  • In New York yea you can I already have a

7mm08 and its the best rifle ever made!

  • OH yeah, those are sweet rounds. Bit too expensive for me tho :(

  • It depends on where you live, here in California it goes:

18- for Shotguns (with a stock) and Semi-Auto rifles with a stock.

21- for any handgun, pistol gripped shotguns, sawn off weapons, machine guns, high powered rifles.

Restricted- Any gun that fires an explosive based projectile longer then 13 mm. 50 BMG's (only the BMG's, does not apply to any other .50 cal), anti-tank weapons.

  • You mays well just hunt with a bazooka, give the animals a chance.

  • lol, well if you used a bazooka than you would be given'em a chance

  • oh shit rocket...RUN AWAY!

  • That's too bad that it's not in full scale production.

I might be convinced to try a ladies gun like a 20 gauge if it was chambered in some nice 3 & 1/2 inch shells.

  • This slug is strickly designed for hunting of large game in areas where rifles are not permisible. It is not a round used for blowing someone's head off.

  • It's forbidden to use for home defense?

    Lol, just playin'.

  • thats pretty good, its accurate, and easy to handle, and it can cause a good amount of damage.

but id rather have the 12 gauge, its more short ranged, n its harder to handle with all that blowback, But u dont really need to aim with it,the BBs spread out like a few feet. and from close range it can cause massive destrucion, the 12 gauge can basically blow someones head off, the 20 gauge couldn't(assuming from what ive seen in this video)

  • this is a 20 gauge slug not a shell filled with a large amount of pellets

  • dammit i just got a 12 guage...

  • Yup. He's definitely got that good ol' shooting look to him. Reminds me of a person named Brunswick, Chadwick or Woodstock.

    Anyway, nice gun.

  • Great vid and shootin, I have a vid of my H&R 20 guage. Check it out on my channel.

  • Nice gun but this thing is a tack driver.

  • i like my remington 870 rifled barrel with sabot winchesters x please let me know what you think

  • I GOT THE SAME gun but a 12 gauge and its a wood stock

  • This is wood too, just laminated.

  • Nice whiskers

  • get a Remington 870

  • i am looking to buy a 20 guage what do you think i should get for a reasonable pric?

  • buy a 12 gauge...

  • Definitely buy a 12

  • i shoot slugs out of my stock barrel, its a mod barrel and i use rifled slugs and it works, i just wonder if its okay to shoot em out of it

  • If its a shot barrel and not a slug barrel, you should be fine as long as the choke is modified or bigger. I don't think you can use a full choke if you wanna shoot slugs.

  • yep, its a modified choke, its crazy because if you think about it, a slug is just a really big bullet

  • i shoot slugs out of my full 20ga

  • you might want to mic that i bet slugs wore it down some and maybe even expanded you barrel

  • $3 a cap is a bit too special. Are reloading supplies and recipes avail for this round, yet?

  • cool gun.. i would like to have one, but in argentina there arent importantations of these kind of arms....

i prefer the 20 gauge over the 16 and 12 gauge...

    and i also have a cz 527 .223 and a cz 511 .22 long rifle..

in your opinion what's your opinionn about this guns?

    nice video

    martin from argentina

  • that is perfect for new jersey

  • Good video, I love the ruggedness of single shot shotguns.

  • Hey Sherman, doesent matter where it hits, its the group that counts, you can always move where it is hitting. USMC

  • That is impressive accuracy for a slug gun.

  • Not good The round impacted to low better use normal rifles 3006 or thommething like this this only works on short ranges

  • I would suggest shooting this round before commenting. Certainly a 30-06 would be great in areas that you can legally hunt. But as most north Eastern States that is not possible so we are left to develope a round that will perform with similar performance for 100 to 200 yard shots. We have the ballistics data to backup the video......

This round has devistating effects on the very short range shot. Looks like we get the best of both worlds.

  • I donT know this cause I don t live in america I m german and we onlay have very long distances

  • I understand, this is a very unique round and performs very well, even in adverse conditions. Muzzle velocity is comparable to some high power rifles. For a shotgun this is really amazing. If you ever get a chance to shot one take the opportunity. You will be surprised.

  • aaren't those slugs

  • Correct these are slugs

    410 grain projectile

    350gr slug + 60 gr sabot.

  • what do you think? dumb ass.....

  • i didnt know they had 20 gauge 3.5 inch mags...or is it only for that gun?

  • its only in h&r single shot slug guns

  • ok..
