haha, i'm actually watching all of this Tales game since I'm never going to be getting a 360 any time soon plus I wanted to see ToV's storyline thoroughly. It's been pretty good so far, as expected of the Tales franchise <3
I'm doing the same thing, but I'm watching this ones with the volume off, and a PS3 walkthrough in Niconico Douga, so I can hear the voices in Japanese :D
If you mean little-thing-leads-to-big-thing-leads-to-bigger-thing-leads-to-serious-business, a lot of games do it that way. So I guess the answer to your curiosity is yes.
