    -Passname13579-

  • 0:12

    whats the flourish?

  • twistey mcveigh(dont know if i spelled that right) by kevin ho

  • u shud put some music

  • Hmmm, in his description he says,

"The Brief: To create a short video showcasing unique forms of "movement", using simplistic editing and LITTLE OR NO MUSIC."

Just thought id let you know :)

  • how very dare you be so good!!!

  • Hey Mr. Smoothness :D

Ok, Jordan :) Video was superb! Unique stuff that i haven't saw for a while.

Aaand I need some help :) I saw you were doing Erdnase go round V2 and then catching it on same hand's first 2 fingers. Once you do this, what comes next? Dropping packet on top again or what? :)

I would really appreciate the help :) Thru PM, or here.

    5 Stars from Motas! ;D

  • Really cool vid man, I love the flourish at 0:18 , that's in reverse if I'm right but looks cool you should create something like that.

Keep the great work up man, want to more beautiful stuff fromyou!

    The Best,

    Lorenzo.

  • cool

  • I love those reverse clips man! Great job!

  • i saw some of that on the trilogy

    magicscornertb

  • wats the name of the flourish start from 0:10?

  • Hi B1ueNikeZ,

That is Dan Buck's variation of an unreleased Kevin Ho flourish that Kevin calls "Twisty McVeigh". As for what Dan calls the variation I have no idea, but he has used it as an opener for both "Molecule 4" and also the Joey Burton "Skater Cut" - though I am sure he has many more applications for the flourish.

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • i'm not sure, but didn't joey burton only invented the kickflip?

  • jordan actually RELEASED something!

: D just kidding mate. great as always :)

  • whats the move called at 0:19? the flourish where u spin the card.

  • Hi OnceExisted,

That move is the "Revolution Cut", you can find it taught by Brian Tudor in many of his videos and DVDs -- particularly the 'Showoff I' tape.

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • haha thanks jordan but i didnt mean the revolution cut, i already know it, i meant the flourish where u do d&d's move which spins the card 360 in the flourish. xP, you cant see alot of it in this vid.

  • Hi OnceExisted,

My apologies in that case; the move you were actually referring to then is the "Skater Cut", and the section where the packet spins is a 'kickflip'. It's essentially a flourish by Joey Burton and the method using the kickflip is currently unpublished, but the display itself can be learned on disc 2 of Dan and Dave's "Trilogy" DVD set, under phase 3 of the "Jackson Five" flourish.

    Hope this helps,

    Jordan

  • alright thanks alot, i love your flourishes and tricks, especially when you perform d&d's transpositionings, i still dont get how to produce the card, even tho i got nursery rhymes vol 1-3 =)

  • finally, can see your performed again. always nice. love all of ur video.

  • Ahahaha, I loved the last move! =P

Reminds me of the camming we did and then do moves untill we had "CARDS" LOL

  • cack xxx

  • That looks fantastic!, Is it a form of juggling? with cards?

  • its called card flourishing but i dont know if your joking around

  • Hello, :)

saw it yesterday already at vimeo , love it man :)

  • 00:19 is awesome! where can I learn?

  • Yay another video from theone and only! :D.

Awesome stuff man, love it. Hope to see more. Btw what are you studying?

  • Hi Dinicorps,

Very kind of you to say, glad you enjoyed it - and everyone else that commented too!

I'm currently studying a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia, it's a 2 year course and touches mainly on graphic art (the visual art made for commercial purposes, like the designs printed on posters, billboards/advertisements, signs, book/magazine layouts, etc). It also touches a little bit on animation work, photography, and video production.

    Hope this helps,

    Jordan

  • Ohh that's awesome! Hehe well I only ever knew you as "the awesome card guy" so I just wanted an idea as to what else you were interested in and what your goals were. Thanks for taking the time to reply :). All the best in your studies, dont forget to keep up your cardistry during college! You're a great inspiration.

    Andrew

  • this is completelley awesome, keep up the good work jordan . Have you you lost weight or something cause you looked alot different in blackpool. Anywayz keep up the card magic as well for this is the most impact, thanks Skinnyboy141

  • Thanks guys, its a pleasure to hear those words of encouragement. It really makes my practice feel very much worthwhile

@Skinnyboy141 Actually, I have lost a little bit of weight. I figured enough is enough, and it's time to do something. So I've recently been curbing my intake and - touch wood - it seems to be going well so far. Whilst I've still got a long way to go, they say a journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step. :)

    Fellow practitioner,

    Jordan

  • Jordan Lapping is back! :)

    nice as always :*

  • Nice video. Hope to see more from you soon.

  • jordan is back

that should be the tittle for this vid

  • Jordan Lapping, great to see a video from you since that it has been a while. Hopefully to see you more in the future. 5/5 from me.

  • Nice Jordan:)! Didn't see anything from you lately, time to film something cool with your webcam. Maybe a nice performance of a trick!

    Keep up your great work!

    The best,

    -Lorenzo

  • Really cool! Glad to see you still post every once in a while! And first rate!

  • Hi CardMagicianCE,

    Thanks for the kind words!

Unfortunately I've been very busy lately and not had the time to invest in making new magic webcam performances. I hope that in the future I will do and can begin making them again, as it was certain fun doing so.

This was just a video to pass the time - unlike all other videos I try to post up, this is in no way a fully "polished" video, but it's just a fun little thing. :)

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • What webcam do you have? Because your webcam has better quality than my camera and my webcam has really crappy quality. LOL

  • First plz dont remoze lol
