  • @GregasaurausRex Sorry, but you must mean the REAL nature boy, Buddy Landell!

  • @YoungEdMama "Nature Boy" is a song by eden ahbez, published in 1947. The song tells a fantasy of a "strange enchanted boy... who wandered very far" only to learn that "the greatest thing... was just to love and be loved in return". Nat King Cole's 1948 recording of the song was a major hit and "Nature Boy" has since become a pop and jazz standard, with dozens of major artists interpreting the song.

  • brian love justin

  • Magic....:))

  • this song makes my soul flyyyy.

  • An exquisite & masterful piece of art. The brilliant vocalist & musician, Nat King Cole, enchants us with this magical song and profound lyrics. Anyone who finds this to be vulgar has their brains in the gutter. "...just to be loved and loved in return" isn't what Jesus said, instead of wars & hate, then Jesus loves us in return.

  • too smooth!

  • @ivettexxx yes ! it was given to nat by the man who wrote it and didn`t leave his name [as the legend goes]

  • Is that Carlton at 2:09 ??

  • There's something extraordinary about this singer. He's magic, just like the song.

  • @artofila you mean "XtrordinarY" lol x)

  • Haunting. Charming. Heart warming. It doesn't get any better. David

  • As a small child, I heard it once and thought it was about me. But I did not understand the line about love.

  • Just simply so beautiful.

  • I'm 16 years old, and i truly feel that todays standards for talent have really fallen.

  • @N012CHERE who cares what ur age is

  • That guitarist plays like a baws. it must be said.

  • The Guitarist is from another planet!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

  • @MsDamJo You are whats wrong with todays music, please go die in a fire.

  • @MsDamJo What's so special about songs that repeat the same thing over and over and say vulgar things?

  • @kheimrick Maybe first you need to find out what I listen to... And only black people are singing vulgar things, so look how music changes!

  • Comment removed

  • @MsDamJo not true... you may find vulgarity everywhere you look. don't even try to telll me that white people aren't vulgar too.

  • @kheimrick not all music today is like that.

  • There is no improving this. He was and will always be the greatest!

  • Song gives me chills I love it and remember it from a long time ago

  • Yup- Untamed Heart, i had completely forgotten, amazing track ( and great film)

    And this is beautiful music...

I'm so fucking happy... Sorry for words. But I cannot explain this in other words... I'm so happy that people like Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole were born and made so beautiful songs...

    Enjoy it people...

  • That is Oscar Moore. He's great.

  • @jcalcasola

That's Irving Ashby. Oscar Moore had left the King Cole Trio when this film (not video) was made. I'm old enough to remember when this Nat Cole classic was getting radio airplay.

  • thank you for this

  • I think that Nat King Cole sang the best version of this song.

  • I was named after this dude[=

  • This is so beautiful.

  • If ever there was a perfect song this one is it.

  • Timeless!

  • Amazing, ave me chills. But the way he looks at the camera creeps me out... Is it just me?

  • Comment removed

  • @bigbeatshuffletruffl i'm sorry what? I mean "the shit" like it's the best song ever lol sorry for the confusion by the way what is "doof-doof lollipop bullshit" ?

  • @elisolauren Oops. Somehow I missed the adjective and figured you for a troll. Sorry. 'Doof-doof lollipop bullshit', by the way, is what a producer would use to kill this song for a quick buck... unnecessary beats.

  • @bigbeatshuffletruffl no worries i should have been more clear

  • @elisolauren Nah, I've used 'the shit', 'the shizzle', 'the shizness' before. The apology is all mine.

  • I love Nat King Cole! "Nature Boy" has always been one of my favorites. Listen to Afro Blue's rendition. It's fabulous. youtube.com/watch?v=CzX0-05KHG4

  • Great. That is all you can say. I heard once that Nat King Cole thought he was not a very good singer. I can't imagine why he would ever have that feeling. His songs are recognized everywhere and he remains one of the best American performers ever.
