you know i really love this demo, and i'm not trying to be a hater, but the superdelay really isn't all that super. the tape mode on it is amazing and the custom paint job is definitely ballin' but as far as tonal pallet goes, it is lacking. the majority of its modes are based on dividing the tap tempo. the hardwire dl8 offers more great sounds (but the tap tempo on it is horrible). now i've never played the SDVM, maybe that would change my mind, but still it really only has 4 sounds.

@CaptainErn More than 4 sounds. I would check out the manual because the tape modes all have a diff tone than the standard mode. Then you can use HP/LF filters.. It also has reverse, octave up delay. You gotta try one for yourself I guess.

oh trust me, if anybody knows david gilmour, it's me. my only issue was how andy seemed to have no feel during his brick in the wall solo. it felt like he was jumping around and his notes weren't as enjoyable as everything else i've heard him play. maybe if he wasn't your god you'd be able to constructively critize him as a guitar player as well. and no, i'm no andy when it comes to playing, so don't even bother.

I had the re-20 and currently own the regular super delay. The biggest difference that makes me wish i held on to the re 20 is that the repeats have their own volume control. other than that the empress is pretty much the best delay stomp box out there
