He consistently kicked everyone's ass on that show that year. Underwood had one maybe two performances that stood out, he had 6 or 7. His performance in the finals put her to shame. Season 4 was the only season I watched, after he lost I never watched the show again. I'm convinced the voting was rigged, there is no way anyone that actually watched his performances could have voted for Underwood. She consistently forgot the words to songs.

one of the reasons i stopped watching Idol... for one Bo had the talent, the charisma, and the fans. Carrie won cuz she was commercial.. she still is commercial, i hate country music, and hate her.. hated her voice... She was another barbie on stage.. Bo was the one who should have won, and hes doin a helluva job... I love Bo.. the real winner here....

I can only agree with those who post about Bo being robbed. Carrie, lovely strong voice, was not the performer at that time. Bo worked the staged and brought an entirely different style to AI, i.e. southern rock instead of pop. Simon, as noted by his condescending comments, was very threatened by a talented man who caused women to fan themselves. Simon was the same way with David Cook and any other good looking, talent male on the show. Glad to see his bias replaced with Tyler.

I loved Bo's outfits from week to week. They did not seem like "dress-up" gigs, like so many of the others do. They looked like they were authentic to who he is & his style of music. They suit him. Not many contestants could pull of aviators and flip flops without looking like goofy charicatures!

Bo had major health problems. Three emergency surgeries for a gastro intestional blockage. The first operation was before Bo was able to finish the AI tour. Bo has been healthy for about 1 1/2 years. He's recording in his own studio, touring and doing great. He's awesome live. Better than ever.

He is an awesome singer, but he's one of those guys who needs a band that can construct the songs for him. Overall in the Competition, Bo had more brilliant performances than Carrie, but it all came down to the Final song, Bo had to sing "Inside Your Heaven". Not taking anything away from Carrie, I love Carrie actually(my favorite Idol Winner Ever), and she deserves the Success she is having now, I just thought Bo did better ON THE COMPETITION.
