  • Listen, Love it! There is so much more music out there. Seek and you will find. Don't denigrate any music until you have listened to it. All music raises us up to a higher level. Let us stop saying; "That's rubbish" All music is good. The more you listen to, the more you like.

  • You dont need to be good or pious to go to heaven. You just need to listen to it.

  • courage the cowardly dog brought me here

  • thumbs up if you think beethoven looks scary.

  • i luv beethoven's symphonies

  • I came here on my own free will, oh my brothers.

  • 46 people are primitives who (that?) don't understand real music.

  • Do you know what brought me here ? No ?!! Come oooon !!! You know what brought me here right ?... Bad music !!! One day, I was so sick of Justin Bieber and all this shity artist that i've decided to come here listening to Ludwing Von to cure myself. And guess what, people ?!

    " I was cured all right " ;)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=EmV35VPRT9s

  • The comedy movie, titled (Angels in the Infield) brought me here---and I know it brought a lot of others here too---don't lie, hehehe!!! This is [Beethoven's] best, or at least my favorite of his, and the choral is what makes it godly...(Symphony No. 9): I been searching for this forever, used to have it on old 45 record that broke. Heard it in the movie, & searching like hell for the composer as the film didn't have it listed credits, finally found it just now

    Danke Schoen, und Guten Tag!

  • I have to struggle to hold on to my chair after 3.08

  • I love this finale because it has been used continually in crazy and quite hilarious commercials with a unbelievable series of events occurring!

  • This is the most GLORIOUS piece of music of all times... Brings tears to my eyes every time...

  • This is the ode to joy not the coral fantasy!

  • much appreciated the effort put into biographical info! Great upload!

  • Meh, Jay z did it better.

  • @artonfireonline Yep but Jay z had working ears

  • @WhoAteMyTacos And a gat to bang this old fuckin faggot with. BOP BOP. dead ol' fool.

  • This music was written when Ludwig was totally deaf!

Does that show the true measure of his Genius,to write music for a chorus and 123 instruments all in his head. This man was was a Maestro of the Highest Order. His music will be around in a 1000 years from now while we will be an ancient civilization!

  • Ultra violence

  • 3:10 "I was cured all right..." Cheers with a glass of milk to lovely lovely Ludwig Van.

  • 6:00 : I don't know but this part is played in LOTR ?

  • Thumbs up if you heard this on "a Clockwork Orange"

  • el error es comparar a bieber con este gran hombre, insensatos!!!

  • hahahaah i remembered due to the top comment

  • Stanley Kubrick brought me here

  • @cathwon Me too, lately I find myself obsessed with his films.

  • @cathwon 'The old Ludwig Van'

  • And the turmoil of emotions relays upon itself in keen surpass.

  • I wonder what they're singing at 3:09 - 3:55

  • @Lisann3tjuh Search Wikipedia for "Symphony No.9 (Beethoven)", and click on "Vocal parts".

  • Singin' in the rain, just singin' in the rain.....

  • Why doesn't Beethoven have his on VEVO???

  • @AndresNavaChannel Because it's public domain.

  • Where are my fake eyelashes......... i had 'em round here somewhere. someones gonna know what im talkin bout :D

  • @HammerFret69 viddy well ..

  • HE WAS AUSTRIAN! I WAS AT HIS BIRTH HOUSE! IN AUSTRIA!!!!

    XO

  • @scipper54 Beethoven was born in Germany (Bonn,) you were probably at Mozart's birth house in Salzburg :)

  • Sublime!

  • @TheDarkViolinist666

it would be live forever :)

  • I liked this a lot, it was really informative.

  • cant describe..he's so smart..amazing really!

  • The song that signals the entrance to Heavan

  • No one quite delivers it like Vickers.

  • lol 3:09 - 3-50 is epic xD

  • Vickers on tenor. My favorite. Can't believe anyone has a problem with Vickers!

  • this has to be my fav tune by beethoven, its epic! :)

  • jesus, enough with the clockwork orange references, ok???

  • Its been cut in the end!

  • wheres my damn drug milk??

i need to get ready for the old ultra violence.

    clockwork orange ftw.

  • i´m wondering ir he had a half of all musical softwares we have today...

why the music quality is getting worse and worse ?

  • @lemigrant todays junk does not even qualify as music by any artist standard of the caliber of beethoven

  • He must have been a right cunt in a previous life to have given the world such beautiful music, yet have the gift of hearing taken away.

  • My God could the tenor be any worse? This is Leonard Bernstein's version. You'd think Leonard would choose someone who could sing. Geez, any volunteers to shoot the tenor?

  • Hey guys check out my orchestra its called Vast Universe. I just finished it yesterday. Here's the URL tell me what you think!

    watch?v=afCA261oIJ0

  • Bub the Zombie's favourite

  • whenever i hear that part where they all start singing really really loud, i think of a couple of beer commercials, and then i go drink beer!!!!!!!!

  • did anyone had the 5.1 experience using headphones?..@_@

  • This and Moonlight Sonata have to be my fav symphonies by beethoven :)

  • I think i just came at 3:08

  • ...But of course Ludwig Van...

  • WHY does justin bieber get more views than this?, it makes no sense

  • @JanissarialGuard justin bieber gets more views because being cultured means there has to be way more completely ignorant people!

  • @JanissarialGuard

because the music of beethoven can live more than 300 years and bieber only 2 or maybe 3 xD

  • @JanissarialGuard Because you need a working brain to grasp the genius of this music.

  • @JanissarialGuard... views dont matter in music. Think how many people have heard this song since it was made !

  • @JanissarialGuard Justin Bieber will be dead, buried and forgotten, but just as you've proven Beethoven's art is immortal.

  • @JanissarialGuard The same reason as why don't men wear awesome clothes like that anymore? Because we are not progressing in anything but science these days. other wise besides that we fail now

  • @JanissarialGuard I think it's because people are trying to figure out who the hell Bieber is.

  • @JanissarialGuard because only people who know anything about good music watch this...justin beiber only has a lot of views because he is advertise

  • @JanissarialGuard In 5 years or less everybody would forget who justin bieber is. Beethoven will be famous for ever.

  • @JanissarialGuard Makes sense but it isn't right!

  • @JanissarialGuard

Stop talking about him and enjoy the music, like anyone who comes here wants to hear that nonesense

  • @JanissarialGuard Beethoven was born in December 1770, his musical greatness began in the early 1800s. Does anyone remember in 300 years there was a singer named Justin Bieber?

  • @prlchile Justin beaver was a human? I thought it's an animal in a zoo!

  • @JanissarialGuard Because half the people that give him views are haters trying to get on there and talk trash. If none of the people that can't stand him went on there, I bet his views would be cut by at least 80%

  • Comment removed

  • love how 99% of the comments are about a clockwork orange

  • Who was drawn here from one of the Neon Genesis Evangelion trailers?

  • @RockingOutLoud4Ever1 :) Thats an opinion that some face, but at the time, Beethoven was very handsome and the way Mozart and others dressed was considered finery back then.

  • 3:05 Chuck Norris making a sandwich...

  • ooohh, and what's so stinking about it?

  • @HipHopiz4Real Its a stinkin world cause there's no law and order :)

  • 0:006:59 its perfect ;)

  • piekne!

  • You'd think the flap before the picture at 4:17 would've said something like, "It was then that Beethoven's intelligence grew out of control and he began manipulating the matter around him with the power of his pulsating mind!"

  • I think I jizzed my pants from the epicness.

  • This music would sharpen you up and get you ready for a bit of the ol' Ultra-violence.

  • @Dgamer21 i can only say to your getting ready for the ultra violence "Alle menschen werden brüder".The personage of Alex in a Clockwork Orange never understood the briliant mind of the great Ludwig Von ....

  • I was cured alright!

  • 3.07 - 3.54 Pure picness.

  • Oh, My drougies.

  • 3:07 free awesome button!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If there is anything that could be considered universally binding or whole worldly , this would be it.

  • what Beethoven really wanted to express was that which he expressed.

  • Europe

  • If you're going to upload a masterpiece as great as Beethoven's ninth, uou know do the whole stuff.

  • I really hate it when people mix in their beliefs and religion while listening to this piece, they take it as a piece for Providence. What Beethoven really wanted to do here was to express humanity in its highest, purest form.

  • @JanissarialGuard I dislike people assumming they know what Beethoven "really" meant to express with this or that piece of music.Their are many different layers of meaning in his music. It sounds to me like your trying to mix in your beliefs or secular views while listening to this piece.Beside's,what has you assumming that religious belief and spirituality is not humanity in its highest, purest form.

  • @godriczimmerman since you put it that way, your argument does take into account a person's unconscious ability in mixing in his beliefs in his pronouncements without sensing that he does. Yet, my opinion still remains the same that Beethoven places Humanity as his central point in this part of the Symphony. I will say though that the highest, purest form of Humanity is its soul. I cannot deny that the feeling in the part of 3: 07 is what it all was.

  • @JanissarialGuard If Beethoven was expressing humanity in its highest, purest form then of course people will bring their beliefs into it.If their beliefs are true, then the two things are inseparable.

  • @Dgamer21 SO FAR!

Me and my friend who is a future movie maker/script writer/filmer/director have a grand idea for this vcertain piece! MY FAVORITE PIECE!

It will be nearly impossibly to top "A Clockwork Orange" though. I'd say perhaps a 2% chance of making it better!

  • I love Zubin Mehta! I used to listen to this every morning before leaving the house when I was in high school. sometimes I would skip my 1st class just so I could hear it again and again!

  • GBTTK videos...I agree with you he was Austrian,

My Grandparents are from Austria, and growing up I heard the stories of Beethoven being totally Austrian, since My Junior High School Music Teacher begged to differ, and said My info was untrue, and My Granparents were just appleasing me,lol, lol

Yes,100% accurate he was full blooded Austrian,

But I disagree, currently owned by Germany, but back then it was completely Austrian territory....Iam proud of it,being 60%Austrian in my Family Bloodline.

    Iam Austrian!

  • hell yes..this is just what I needed!

  • what difference it makes , he was not a supid nationalist only a musician..!!

  • He was Austrian not German the land he was born in was given to the Austrian Empire from the Kehiser of Germany so technicaly he was Austrian, but you could call him German since the land IS currently owned by Germany

  • Beethoven will always be the greatest composer of all time :D

  • I was confused at first but now I know this is the Fourth and Final Movement, cuz this isn't the part you hear in A Clockwork Orange; you hear the Second "Scherzo" if I'm not mistaken. I downloaded this music but it was mislabeled as Mozart's 9th. Now I know :)

This is easily my favorite piece of Classical music. The ENTIRE symphony, yes, but this part in particular. Also, what corleone560 said.

  • I can't listen to this without thinking of A Clockwork Orange

  • BURN-E!!!
