this was a mismatched amateur fight, when i lived in the philippines, i used to do this almost every week... you don't use a big spider in a fight because the bigger spider would always lose to a smaller one since they are obviously pregnant and very weak... you put them in a matchbox and let them hatch their eggs, only then would you make them fight for a better show. put them in a jar and don't feed them for a week and if you want a good fighter, only feed them droplets of water.

These guys are amateurs. They are using the low quality house spiders, which are usually large but very vulnerable. They should have those we called "batman" which are the yellow ones and moves like a scorpion. They're small but really fast. Also good are what we call "camel" which are large and has tough shells. They are, however, very slow and are no match to the "batman".
