Parent is in the wrong to punish the boy, while she should be punishing her husband for encouraging abuse towards girls.

Keep in mind we live in a "Monkey See, Monkey Do" world, meaning that if someone in power like a parent does something wrong, so does the child.

That's why punishments don't work as you don't get to the root of the problem. In other words, it only suppresses negative behaviour, but doesn't eliminate it.

This is such a sad but true reality to alot of people in the world. If someone you know is in this kind of situation, speak up! Defend them! For they are so frightened and scared they are not able to do so themselves. We need to put a stop to domestic violence.
