Nice work, thanks for sharing! I tried some of the chords you wrote on a guitar software (Tux Guitar) but they do not come out quite right, because of the capo4 setting. I think the chords you suggested:

verse

Am C|G Em7|F Em|Am D|

Am C|G Em7|F Em|Am repeat x2

chorus

C G|Am Em|F Em|D

F Em|F#m7 A|D|Esus4 E|

Are only valid for a capo0 tuning, so technically the Am is not an Am, it is an Am fingering on the fifth fret? is that what you meant?

Your suggested chord is right (it is capo4).

If you want to play this song without capo, Am → Dm, C → F.
