  • Brought back memories!!!! where do you guys keep this videos!!! I remember putting pause on commercials when i would record my favorite shows on my beta and vhs tapes!!!!!

  • Love the Levi's. I remember wearing them out with a rasor blade in my stonewash jeans with a tight roll. Then rocking them with my pink glittery LA Gears. LOL...OMW those were the days!

  • It is utterly painful to watch all of this.

  • Were can I find Aquafresh in a pump nowadays?

  • still got a can of tic tac toes thinking about cracking it open tonite... too bad i cant moonwalk like i used too tho

  • Anyone remember Colgate Jr with the star shape??

  • @Cml725 Yes!

  • @ThatHoodieGuy That was like the best toothpaste ever :-)

  • hey aqua man hide! lmao i dont want her to knw that i'm halucinating

  • ah the good old days where we would all have holes in our jeans :D first thing I did when I got a new pair was wear out the knees!

  • I always used to wonder what the hell you were supposed to win if you got all X's or O's on your spoon.

  • @jfre81 LMAO

  • x-x-x I win, what do I win? Why can't I use o's? Plus did he say wherever I go and when sex is a no.

  • @NachoNinja lol making me think of that kyper song

  • my daugter was watching the tic tack toe thing and she was laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that kid had a "skateboarding is not a crime" sticker on his board. Nice. I miss those days.

  • Last post: I don't really see environmental friendly PSAs yet in the 1980's, which was an obsessive hysteria in the following decade. I kinda miss the '80s though I won't wanna dwell in that decade, many people in the 80s wished to travel back the the 1950s/60s...or how the "be serious" 90s kids missed out on the "easy-goin" 70s. I wonder in the year 2029 we will moan or gripe about 2009 was a good ol' time, and some of us may have kids will discuss the "cool" toons we got on Jetix or KidsCW. +

  • Ok the last post was over the line, but we have parents being "baby boomers" who may not be "hard" on us gen X/Y-ers and they preach "P-C hippy/Born-again GOP" sociopolitical morality, except we grow up ditching class, joining youth gangs, refuse to do our chores & most of all, shout "NO!" at our parents when they ask to clean our rooms. But hey, we at least said "NO" to drugs, except in high school we secretly smoke weed or have abstinence taught in sex. ed. since condoms arent enough. +

  • The toothpaste made for kids didn't have a warning : "Not to be eaten" and the mouthwash I drank was like a beer! No wonder every saturday morning I ended up with a headache & stomach ache, plus the effect of ethyl alcohol. Hey, it had a mint taste & a fun cartoon character on it! Aquafresh was like frosting. xD

My mom can recall the 1960's when cigarette ads were common and she became a smoker at age 13 (this was 1964), the Flintstones smoked Philip & Morris, and Kool the penguin.+

  • With all due respect, I believe the Flintstones actually smoked Winston brand cigarettes, since they were actual sponsors of the show, up until Wilma's pregnancy.

  • Back in the 80s, saturday morning toons were "kid friendly' by not saying "hell" or "damn"...and when Bobby's World starring Howie Mandel as little Bobby found out his mom is pregnant, some of those religious moralist parents aren't pleased about the adult subject matter on "mommies having babies from their tummies or butts" as kids said in the playground to gain attention by peers.

Oh yea, in the '60s you probably had kid-friendly beer commercials: Budweiser, its just like Cereal kool-aid. +

  • "Tic-tac-toes" made a good quick lunch huh? Today, the fear of childhood obesity made most of these commercials taboo to put on saturday morning TV (quick, get the P-C chip!)

Levi's jeans 1988, the trends & styles are right here on youtube. Take a trip back in time & you won't be having a computer, but lucky to have cable!

I remember those toons like "Little clowns" (I thought the hiccup clown was a laugh riot) and "Flintstone kids" (not the vitamins: a million strong...and growing") +

  • What a classic commercials. I seen on cable. When we have cable directly to the states back in 1992

  • 8-8-1988

    milano - nyc

    nyc-miami

    miami - wpb

  • The "Tick tac toes" spot reminds me of "The Price Is Right" in the late 80's.

  • lol the kkid moon walked

  • Tick tac toes: DID THEY SAY SEX IN THE NOSE IN THE BEGGING OF THE COMMERCIAL???

  • hahahahahahha xD lmao!

  • or was it "Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew have long nose"? LoL, back in the time some of our saturday morning toons still feature very racially-charged stereotypes. Anyone knew about Fat Albert in the black ghetto, the Asiatic Siamese cats on Chip & Dale rescue Rangers, and Hispanic parents demanded a character of Latino heritage: Dora the Explorer arrived a decade later. Most of the girl characters were feminine, not working out the home & had "only played with dolls", nowadays it's just plain wrong. +

  • Canned pasta was the s**t back in the day. I remember when my brother and I were at home by ourselves during summer vacations, my mom would leave us cans of Chef Boyardee Ravioli to have for lunch.

  • that levi's commercial is pure genius!

"i like to wear what's normal to wear, i guess."

hahah! oh commercial induced peer pressure.. how i miss being a kid.

  • That Tic Tac Toes kid is soooooooo gay, literally.

  • Anyone know how long they made Tic-Tac-Toes? I kinda sorta remember them.

  • chef boyardee tic tac toes! i remember that, i can almost taste it lol...

get three x's on your spoon and you win....what do u win?

  • I don't remember commercials in the 80's being so cheesy & innocent like!

  • I was born in 1988, so I didn't know any of the commercials.

  • i gotta get me a pair of piranha pants so i can be a bad boy

  • tic tac toes holy shitt i remember

  • I remember this tic tac toe commercial also.I also loved eating Pac Man Macaroni and Meatballs also! Do you remember The Great Space Coaster?

  • yup! and the pac man cereal with ghost marshmallows ...

  • Do you remember Frannie's teasing nature with Puppet Goriddle Gorilla on The Great Space Coaster?

  • funny thing is i'm dating the tic tac dough kid!!!!

  • wow, i woulda thought he'd turn out gay

  • LEVI's Commercial is the definition of the late 80's.

  • That moonwalk was funny as hell!

  • I really hope that toothpaste wasn't fruit flavoured. Fruit flavoured toothpaste revolts me, I'm sorry. I used to like it, but the thought of it now makes me sick.

  • sweet jesus dino's dilemmas. god bless the internet.

  • Oh yeah Tic tic tic tic tic tac toes!!!

Rebels wear Levi's...kids watch too much damn tv

Don't think I really liked Flintstone kids...used to love "Pup Name Scooby Doo" though

  • aw, I remember the tic tac toe's. especially that theme song in that commercial, I used to have that song playing in my head. lmao

  • And we all know those "naturally worn" Levi's were tight rolled at the bottom with a fresh pair of British Knights!

  • Don't forget tying your shoelaces around the back of your shoes! I remember the aquafresh pump commercial too! Virtually solving the

    messy tube problem.

  • those are some terrible pants

  • Yes, I never understood why they were so popular back then. My sister loved them. LOL! I imagine today's fashions will seem very dated 20 years from now as well.

  • thats the kid from kate and allie

  • with or without meatballs lol

  • dude, tic tac toes were the best thing EVERRRRRRRR!!!

  • "And when you get three X's or O's on your spoon, you win!"

So basically you win everytime you get a spoonful of Tic-Tac-Toes. lol Man, that was good stuff!

  • You win what?

  • Absolutely nothing.

It was just a ploy to get you to buy the product. Hell, I practically "won" everytime I got a spoonful of the stuff. I averaged about 10 X's and O's everytime until the last bit of it was taken from the bowl.

  • I know now. What do u win just for dipping your spoon in pasta? That's like if I dipped a spoon in a bowl of Raisin Bran, and I got all raisins or no raisins--just the bran flakes. I wouldn't win anything!

  • Another bite.. Lawl.

  • Ok that toothpaste commercial is creepy as hell. "Hey pump man hide, here comes my mom!!!"

    ...What the fuck?

  • Holy shit, that's hilarious. I'm glad someone else noticed that too. Pump Man is probably registered in 6 states by now

  • I bet all of the kids in the Levi commercial grew up to be crack heads they do whatever they want

  • jeez i forgot about tic tac toes!

  • I remember ALL of this!!!! In 1988, I was 10 years old and I used to watch this every Saturday morning! Such fond memories.

  • wow, i sadly remember all of those.

  • >>>>>>>"wow, i sadly remember all of those."

No, it's nowhere near sad to remember these great commercials at all, you damn idiot. So take back what you said and make another comment saying that there's nothing wrong with remembering these excellent commercials.

  • Wow, I was a year old for this.

  • i remember tic tac toes and dinasaurs.

  • lmao tic tac toe one if u get 3 x's you win wow the kid beat himself in eating tictactoe

  • LOL Tic tac toes.

  • is the levi's ad encouraging teen rebellion? :-p

  • WOA! Did you see that kid in the CBAD commercial do the moon walk(1:02-1:04)! It was one of the best I've ever seen. Totally 80's!

  • "If you get 3 Xs in a row on your spoon, you win!"....win WHAT exactly????

  • Wow, I remember all of those commercials so well, well not the Levi's one. But the other ones, it's like it was yesterday!! Guess I watched too much Saturday Morning cartoons!!

  • I remember this! Oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm old enough to have a nostalgic moment... =O

  • omg tic tac toes my moom use to buy that nasty shit like it was no tomarrow

  • Thanks for posting this. I love Little Clowns Of Happytown. I managed to get a few episodes from the UK. *smiles*

  • I remember hidding my talking aqua fresh tooth paste from my mom too.

  • lmao tic tac toes. never had them but they came out the year i was born, awsome, hehe]

    xox

  • By the way, the kid in that Aqua Fresh commercial played Chip on "Kate & Allie".

  • oh my mom use get tic tac toes until we got tired of them

  • Oh.my.god. I remember that Aquafresh toothpaste for kids. After awhile, the special pump would get all gunked up with toothpaste and wouldn't close!

And Tic-Tac-Toes -- "if you get 3 X's in a row on your spoon, you win!" Never occurred to me back then how stupid that sounds. hehehe.
