@cleicsioluek Problem is the world technical committe just devalued doing this in straddle from D to C, now Shawn will have to relearn the skill keeping her legs together for D value. It's much harder and she is already struggling here.
@cleicsioluek Haha, that's no bad of yours! Honestly, I think we will be seeing tons more of these. They are perfect for power gymnasts, easily add CV and SV, and they don't get deductions unless you have to force it or the Weiler 1/2 is late.
@bikerOGX I'm pretty sure your being sarcastic when it comes to her favorite gymnast. She pretty much tore Wieber down every chance she got. She's a total Russian lover.
@julmastra And proud of it. At least I don't hate the Americans. You seem to hate the Russians. You'll be surprised to learn my favorite gymnastics country is actually Romania. Then Russia and China behind.
@julmastra I would think so, but her favorite gymnast, Jordyn Wieber, won, so I don't know what she has to be upset about. Maybe she feels that Wieber should have won the Longines prize for elegance over Porgras as well?
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 I hope this isn't a stupid comment, but I don't understand why Shawn is competing at such a small meet like Pan Ams. Why would Shawn feel the need to go through all that trouble just to compete against a weak field? What is there to win? She should have just waited for London.
@bikerOGX she need to start again from something , if she start from the olympics she can do it wrong . you saw in visa , she didnt do the double -double and the full , now she doing it ,She was tense, but now less so she put those elements. sorry for my bad english.
@lolipop9341@kristenamaezing You guys are right. I shouldn't badmouth the Pan Am games. I mean, for a gymnast who hasn't been to the Olympics, like Brandie Jay for instance, the Pan Am games is a pretty big deal. As for Shawn, Pan Ams only seems lame when you know she's been to the Olympics, but I guess it's a mistake to view everything in hindsight. Anyway, GO SHAWN 2012!
@bikerOGX Haha, very funny. But hopefully you're smart enough to realize that this is a bigger meet than the Intercity Games. And her best was a silver in the bars final and gold in the team so it's not like she's the best here.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 I don't know what the Intercity games has to do with anything, I'm talking about the Pan Am games. However, it's obvious that you know nothing about the Intercity games because it's WAY WAY bigger than the Pan Am games, as well as more competitive. I mean, look at the scores, none of the Pan Am gold medalists (except in FX) would have won in any event had they competed in the 2011 Intercity games instead.
@bikerOGX Yeah. Zeng Siqi's hop off the high bar dismount made for a stupendously difficult routine. And you said gold medalists, but for the other colors: Caquatto would've taken silver if she represented China competed at the Intercity Games and Gomez would've been third. VT: Jay and Garcia 2nd and 3rd. UB: Caquatto and Johnson 2nd and 3rd. FX: No Intercity gymnasts make podium. Hopefully you realize Johnson isn't as good as she used to be. More medalists from Pan Am vs. the Intercity girls.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 Don't be badmouthin' Shawn. Even your favorite gymnast, Jordyn Wieber, would have came in second on bars if she competed at the Intercity games. Hell, even Komova would have been worried about UB EF at Intercity, whereas Pan Ams would have been a joke to her. WAY MORE gold medalists from Intercity vs. the Pan Am girls.
@bikerOGX Haha, I don't even want to think about "my favorite gymnast" being on an UB podium. Yes, there were more gold medalists from the Intercity, but overall, more medals from the Pan Am and that's what counts. And Komova would've been scared of who for bars? Huang Huidan???? Yeah, right...
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 Use your head. If more gold medalists were from Intercity, it means the highest scores in most events were from Intercity. And don't be badmouthin' Huidan either. She scored 15+ on bars in both AA and UB EF. Who's Komova going to be more worried about, Huidan or a bunch of 14ish scoring Pan Am gold, silver and bronze medalists?
@bikerOGX I'm saying that more medals came from the Pan Am girls. Do some research please. And I love Huang. Both of them. But Huidan doesn't stand a chance against Komova on bars unless she has a big mistake. If they both hit, Komova wins.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 So then you must feel that the Chinese girls dominated Worlds then, cuz they won more medals than the American girls, right? And unlike Huidan, Caquatto doesn't stand a chance against Komova on bars EVEN if she has a big mistake. If Komova doesn't hit, Komova still wins. Why can't you just admit when you're wrong?
@bikerOGX The Chinese girls dominated Worlds individually, but not as a team. Caquatto's nothing compared to Komova. Why would you even compare her to Huidan!? What was I wrong about?
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 Way to contradict yourself. How can you say the Chinese girls didn't do as well as a team when they won just as many medals in the team competition as the Americans? Could it be possible that you might actually be admitting that gold is better than silver and bronze? If so, maybe you should go back and reevalute your "more medals is what counts over gold medals" statement. LOL!
@bikerOGX Actually, smartie, more medals is what counts. That's how they determine who wins Worlds, Olympics, and which country wins the Olympics as a whole. Although the medal color is the tie-breaker. It doesn't validate that at all. Komova is the best gymnast in the world. And possibly the best ever. I'll say that. So any field is weak for her. And Pan Ams is equal, if not a bit deeper than the Intercity Games. Also, Shawn didn't "change her birthplace" to compete here like you claim He did.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 LOL! What you're saying is so freakin' stupid that even I have a hard time believing you're serious. Are you really telling me with a straight face that, say, if Michael Phelps had won 9 silver medals instead if 8 gold, it would have been a more successful Olympics for him because "more medals is what counts"??? C'mon, just admit everything you've said is wrong and end the stupidity.
@bikerOGX No, it's not stupid. Do you even know who won the 2008 Olympics or the 2010? It's all determined by who has more medals. Obviously, winning the AA gold is better than winning two EF silvers, but when it comes down to the country as a whole, two silvers is better than one gold.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 Yes, you are stupid. And you can't even be consistent in your stupidity. Your new stupidity actually contridicts your old stupidity. I mean, you can't bring yourself to say that the Chinese girls won Worlds when according to your very own rules, they won the most medals. You completely avoid my question about Phelps because the answer makes it painfully clear that you're being stupid. It's just sad.
@bikerOGX Yes, you're demented & dumb. I actually did say the Chinese won Worlds. "The Chinese finished on top again as the 2011 World Gymnastics Championships ended Sunday in Tokyo. Sui Lu won balance beam and Zou Kai won high bar to put China on top of the total medal standings, with four golds, five silvers and three bronzes." Taken from IG. This proves you're stupid. They got the most medals, so they won. I didn't avoid your Phelps question. It's more successful for him, not for the country.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 Everyone knows the Chinese won on the strength of the mens team, who have owned Worlds every year since 2003, but if your English reading comprehension were a bit better, it would have been quite obvious to you that I was referring to the Chinese girls. A clue might have been when I said "Chinese girls." Do you think they won Worlds over the American girls or not? Your own criteria says that they did, so why not just admit it and wish the Americans better luck next year?
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 And the fact that you think 9 silvers would have been more successful for Phelps than 8 golds just proves how "demented and dumb" YOU are.
@bikerOGX For Phelps, 8 golds would've been better. For the entire country as a whole, 9 silvers is better. That just proves how "stupid" YOU are. Ask anyone, that's how they determine who wins! Also, it doesn't matter if the Chinese boys did far better than the Chinese girls. It matters how China did as a whole! I know you were referring to the Chinese girls, but if you had logic, you'd find a way to understand what really matters.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 You're hilarious! So, I guess 10 bronzes for Phelps would have been EVEN BETTER for the U.S. then? And sure, I'll go ask someone about the medal count, while you go ask Phelps about what he thinks about your ideas. LOL!
@bikerOGX It would've been better for the country. The more medals a country wins determines the winner of the Olympics. Not the color of the medals. You look like an ass because you're wrong.
