  • @totenkopfss11m The song wasn't on the album as the rest of the band thought it to be too personal to Roger. It took so long to appear on the Final Cut because David Gilmour argued that if this song wasn't good enough for the Wall, why should it be good enough for the Final Cut? It's still an amazing and deeple moving song. Gilmour was wrong to question Roger's writing ability.

  • this song makes me cry. for even though i still have my father. i lost my cousin in Afghanistan. he was my best friend and like a father to me.

  • this is on final cut

  • @totenkopfss11m It was put on the 2001 remastering.

  • Does Richard Wright play on this?

  • I've got the wall album but I've never heard this one... It's awesome!

  • Does anyone know if the orchestra version with the sound of the tank treads at the start is on you tube. Thanks

  • 2 people either accidentally hit dislike, or they have different (and probably bad) taste in music.

  • 2 people heard the opening thinking that it was in the flesh? paused the video and left a dislike without knowing that the accual song came a few seconds latter

  • @totenkopfss11m ALSO THEY SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED THE EMPTY SPACES MOVIE VERSION

  • @floydian15 But that makes it less interesting. Empty Spaces studio version has a secret message.

  • @floydian15 There wasn't enough room on the vinyl. So they included it in the movie. There you go.

  • @floydian15 "Backs To The Wall" would not have fit on the LP. That's why. It's in the Movie, and Concerts.

  • 2 people have no PULSE!

  • this song is amazing!

  • @emeraldJohSh, ah if it was written by the members, it probably was a single.

  • Este tema no aparece en el disco sino sólo en la banda sonora de la película. Es muy Roger waters pero es fabuloso.

  • I maybe a little late, but that is some funny true shit. Thanks I needed to laugh.

  • it is the song not included on "the wall" soundtrack

    it is in the movie

it is also on "the final cut", it would seem

  • No, it is not on "the final cut". It is neither on the original "The Wall"-album. It was published as a single.

  • It was on the 2004 remastered re-release of "The Final Cut" as well.

  • Yeah, the album was "The Final Cut," that was released after the movie.

When The Tigers Broke Free was produced in 1979, the same year The Wall was planned to be released, but they decided against adding it to the wall.

  • this songs on the pink floyd wall movie

  • this song isn't on the wall and is nothing to do with The wall, it's part of the Final cut concept

  • this song is on the wall dipshit, i can tell you the chapter number and everything. Think before you speak, child.

  • go smoke a bowl

  • hes just pointing out that it's on the movie. where the little boy finds his fathers uniform

  • it's on the movie and soundtrack, not the real cd

  • But they put it in The Wall Movie, so it takes some credits for The Wall.
