i heard spartan 117 is a BETA spartan and he is the only one equpied with sheild. And dont say " Your wrong. What about the spartans in mulitplayer?" First of all Why would there be spartans vs spartans in a mulitplayer game? So masterchief is the ONLY spartan with shield. The usmc though shields where pointless. They said "why use shields when you cant see the spartan?" So they made recon. Recon armor has a invisible feature. But not in multiplayer. its in the story.

go read the books on Halo... there are MANY Spartans. Just that John-117 received upgrades to his MJOLNIR armor, complete with shields, first. The rest of the spartans, well they got theirs soon.

Are you guys crazy? The concept of "Saving Private Ryan with a Warthog" is AWESOME and perfectly captures what Bungie was going for when creating the atmosphere of the Halo universe. Why do we need another bad video game to action movie adaptation?

You guys CLEARLY don't know the legal standpoint behind all this. Bungie and Microsoft split but Microsoft still owns the Halo title. Thus its up to Microsoft to decide to make the movie. A project was started a LONG time ago for a halo movie but it was discarded because of financial issues and also Microsoft and Bungie. So if you people want a Halo movie FORGET IT! It won't happen unless Microsoft says its guna. Bungie has no say in it whatsoever. The last addition to Halo from bungie is ODST.

Im going 50-50 on this... its good, but its made using handheld film style and us army commercial quality... I think a more... saving "private ryan beach assualt" style would have worked a little better. Maybe thats just me but the way this was done made the armor, vehicles, and weapons look cheap. Its great for what it is. 4/5

What I don't understand is why the Pelican couldn't simply pick up the ODSTs... The troops could probably climb aboard the Pelican just as quickly as they dropped the Warthog. Yah the 5ths or Halo Contact: Harvest is about Sgt. Johnson and a squad of marines. Its tell why the war started. Only mistakes battle rifle wasn't showed until Hal the first strike, 20 years later also same with the hornets, not til 2552 not 2524. Its a good book just started reading it.
