@tomperanteau I am with you on this one.. It seems we have forgotten that Ford didn't need a government handout. It is possible that this is due in part to the Company Creed that Ford has that has been handed down from Henry Ford.

It's funny his first vehicle ran on hemp fuel, and was made of hemp materials. Sadly we have not taken this idea and applied it today.

This is what we need today. Quality, quantity, and affordability all bundled up together. Today's corp. are only interested in the bottom line. Making money is all that matters to some people. This is why America is no longer the super power she once was.

And I believe we can erase the need to be a super power by being empowered in the field of possibility where money is a by-product of what we do, not why we do it. @Peaceofmindfound The bottom line is sadly, money. Even the oil companies themselves would benefit because hemp is a RENEWABLE RESOURCE. Crude oil is too however it takes millions of years to renew. TWO FULL crops of hemp can be grown in ONE year. How does this obsolete idea of using petroleum still exist in their minds? Move on fellas. Leave somewhere for your children and grandchildren to live. Ya can't run a engine without oil. What happens when ya take the oil from the life engine of Earth?
