  • with all of the lawyers in this country I'm surprised school still allow students to use these tools. Could be opportunity ripe for an enterprising young student out of law school?

  • @AlcoholLevel No.

  • Great video. EVERY MIDDLE AND HIGHSCHOOL needs an experience like this to get American students excited about science. Bravo!

  • Wow, what an excellent video. And a brilliantly passionate teacher.

  • I wish my chemistry teacher taught us this.

  • hey dude, i got a bunser burner but i cant get a blue flame, just blue at its bottom and yellow at the half/top....even with all the air entrances open..... whats wrong? sorry for bad english =/

    thanks

  • @adolffims1 The burner itself might be of bad design. Also, the burner may be dirty or clogged with corrosion. Without having it in front of me I can't really tell for sure exactly what's wrong.

  • thats not how i do it at all...

  • if you change from roaring to safety flame suddenly it makes fireballs!

  • How do you use the striker? It should be the item that looks like tweezers with a cup attached to it. My science teacher always wants me to use the striker to light up the bunsen burner and I can barely get the spark on it.

  • @race1717 my teacher says to use two hands

  • starring the bunsen burner as itself lol at the credits

  • cool!!!

  • bunsen burner ftw!!!

  • Cool! I learned how to light the Bunsen Burner in Physical Science today! Using the flint in so cool but I was really nervous at first! Science in awesome!

  • he sounds like mr garrison

  • we dont use matches in my school we use this thing that makes a spark and lights it :)

  • is it called the flint cause that's what we used

  • oh yes thats what its called :P i remember now because we did more experiments :)!

  • I'm new to chemistry and this was very helpful, thx. =D

  • You're welcome.

  • No problem, i really appreciate it.

  • i learned this 20 years ago

  • yeah i do

  • i learned this 2 years ago

  • think you're special?
