  • I love Star Wars and I love Star Trek. Both are amazing.

  • I am old enough to be a fan of the original show and its many movie sequels. It's great that it is still alive in the form of movies and now prequels, but I worry that Roddenbury's messages are getting lost in the FX. The original show doesn't impress many young people because it looks "old" I hate to see the messages of peace and tolerance being twisted into something else. Would it be possible to remake the whole TV series, true to the original scripts but with a new updated look?

  • @go2beach51 It could. But the problem a lot of us from the 80s on find with Star Trek is is that some, not all, of the trekkies are pretentious. It's not Roddenburys fault. It was the attitude a lot of people gained through watching the show. If you read the comments by trekfreek and bondfreek you can see what we're talking about.

  • Well, if i would give some stable and constructive critisism to this cinematic work i would say it's THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!

  • @linuslillen01 That's anything but "stable and constructive criticism". Stable means that it is solid and unbiased. Constructive means that the people who made the film will learn from your comments. Criticism means that you are going to point out what is wrong with the film. You did none of these. You only stated a lie based on the fact that you like the movie. PS. It's the WORST movie of all time! Un like you I have given this film "stable and constructive criticism"!

  • this movie was a blast

  • You will experience fear... Trailer 3 Everything thats Epic about Star Trek

  • The reason I liked TOS was because of the character ensemble and their interactions. I thought this movie did a good job of recreating that. I don't give a crap about technobabble and all the gimmicks that most hardcore fans got out it. That's why I never cared about TNG.

So as far as I am concerned, this movie got it perfectly right.

  • Yeah Star Trek is cool again! The shooting of Star Trek 2012/2013 has officially begun yesterday.

  • @johndoe3k5 May 17 2013

  • trailer 3 is so unbelievably epic!

  • This movie was full of lens flares!

    OHHHHHH YEAAAAAHHHH

  • This is not Star Trek. This is Star Wars pretending to be Star Trek

  • @flamingtroll Actually, it's Star Trek pretending to be Star Wars, J.J.Abrams has said publicly that a big inspiration for making the updated version was George Lucas' Star Wars prequels, with modern technology you could go so much bigger in scope and visuals. I grew up in TNG era, and phased in and out of Trek, but this movie just kicked ass, I have no ambition to revisit TOS because it has aged horribly, but as long as these movies are made, I'll watch them, they're great.

  • I am not sure about the scene in the movie - But at minute 4 and 52 seconds: Isn`t the Enterprise turned upside down (Old/New Enterprise has no signature on the lower saucer section)?!?!?!

  • I have the Star Trek DVD, and after watching it more times than I'll ever admit (lol), this movie is just awesome. I'm looking forward to the second movie, and I hope it will be just as amazing & awesome.

  • i can't wait for part 2

  • 47 Klingons watched this.

  • @txluke Correction: 47 rabid, self-righteous obsessive fanboys like Trekfreek watched this video.

  • @F14ace Let me ask you a question what is your favorite football team and why? If your answer is longer than 20 words then you are a fanboy who is even worst then Trek fans like me.

  • Personally I love all Star Trek movies...

  • If my dad was Thor I'd be pretty good at my job too.

  • "Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before."

  • It's been a week and i still havn't found "Trekfreek's" comment.

  • @leenguini Go to pages 14 and 13 on this video.

  • Discuss: Kirk is Arthur ,Spock is Merlin ....The Enterprise is Camelot?

Obiwan is Gandalf , Luke is Frodo.... etc... universal characters rewritten time and time again.

  • the movie is awesome i know part of it but others not ik the song

  • but I like William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, Nichelle Nihols, George Takei, Walter Koenig

  • Best sifi movie eva

  • The movie did rock. There is one complaint I have about Star Trek in general though. Their knowledge of physics is awesome (ask Dr. Lawernce Krauss), however the biology knowledge is poor. For example inter species offspring. Our DNA would be so different from a species that evolved on another planet that we have more in common with trees, so it'd be impossible. 2nd, why must humans have the same lifespan as now. Why can't we live as long as Vulcans? Surly our technology will enable this.

  • @Newenlightenmentnow

One unrealistic but still possible reason is because the god of the Star Trek universe designed not just humanity in his/her image, but all soon to be highly evolved lifeforms. I don't believe in god, but if you want to try to rationalize a tv show that never really put any thought into biology or medicine in the first place, god is the only answer to the question. The show was mostly about morality and getting people interested in space anyway.

  • i remember when i saw the first trailer in the movie theatre. when it started i was oh great another space movie... then Leonard Nimoy started talking and then i saw the enterprise... thats when i started freaking out and smacking my friend besides me lol it was a great movie XD

  • I thought this was for nerds, i love it now, im a nerd :D

  • this trailer makes me tear up it so good. it's as if man was cast down from heaven and forget he was a god. if we could only remember how great we truly are.

  • "Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription is MORE LENS FLARE!"

  • @apologyisnothepolicy the lens flare for this movie looks good imo

  • I have to say, I watched Star Trek, but never really took it in. If this movie with same actors were made into series I would buy like 3 box sets of each season. One for me, on for backup and one for unborn son.

  • STAR TREK IS SUPPER GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • trailer 3 what music is from what composer?

  • @gugis It's "Freedom Fighters" by the band "Two Steps From Hell". Google it for a D/L source.

  • @gugis Two Steps From Hell (check on wikipedia about them) you will realized how awesome is this band is you liek this type of "epic songs"

  • I have watched this movie three times in the past two days... haha

  • Sorry, I had to leave another comment, but this movie is INSPIRATIONAL!

  • I never watched any of the Star Trek series, except for maybe a couple of episodes. My roommate and I watched this movie together and I'm glad we did because this was a great movie!

  • I wish I could live for 200 years more and see if Star Trek eventually becomes real..

  • lmao gave up counting the lens flares :') but really such an epic movie, I absolutely loved the story, characters and special effects, let alone the soundtrack. It got me into the original series of Star Trek aswell, im so glad that it was directed by J.J Abrams, I think hes an excellent director. Even if your not a big fan of Star Trek, or don't even know much about it, it's still really worth watch.. :)

  • it is so awesome movie and the best i've seen in a couple of years :O

  • It whoud be awsome if Kirk and Picard met

  • @AceOfSpadesGuy they did in "star trek: generations" (if you dont believe me watch the movie)

  • @kallemick One of my favorite qoutes of that film is whne Kirk tell Picard "I was saving the galaxy when your grandfather was using dapers"

  • @AceOfSpadesGuy Don't try to divide by zero....

  • will it be with The AWSOME Picard or that noob kirk :/

  • 0:22 Holy shit that does not give anyone else chills?

  • The teaser was beautiful - they made a great choice to actually show the work on the Enterprise. Brilliant way to hint at what was in store while not making it obvious at first. And for a Navy/Coast Guard geek like me, there are 3 most thrilling times to look at a great naval ship: when she's being built, when she's launched, and when she's fighting for her life.

  • I liked the old cast and was cynical about them being replaced but this film really was good to my surprise. I couldn't really fault it. I liked it when I saw it at the Cinema and I liked it even more when I saw it the second time around on TV. I'm not even a Trekkie either.

  • I'm a die hard Star Wars fan and i have always hated Star Trek, but after i saw this movie it completely changed my views about it. Star Trek is amazing and the story line is incredible. James T. Kirk is my favorite character so far in the series.

  • @MasterJB9 That's great! Giving folks like you - people who aren't a part of the now-established, almost "traditional" fan base - a sense of what "Star Trek" can be and what it's all about is a big part of why this movie was made. I'm glad to see that the film helped the franchise's appeal. I wasn't too sure about rebooting the original series at first, but I think seeing the old tale retold like so many great stories of the past helped me understand what's timeless about it.

  • @MasterJB9 If all you know about Star Trek is this one movie, then you don't know anything about Star Trek. Go watch TNG.

  • @MasterJB9 ...then you wouldnt be mad if there were a Star Wars reboot being planned by Damon Lindeloff and the same team that wrote Star Trek, right? Yeah, they're thinking of rebooting that AGAIN.

  • @MasterJB9 I love both Star Wars and Star Trek didnt really get into star trek though untill like 2006 or so some were around there, but let me tell you this movie was amazing yea they changed the story line and some people didn't like that they didnt stick to the story line BUT if they actually payed attention they'd see how the story was changed cuz of nero

  • @MasterJB9 For me, I am a Star Wars fan but I am not a Star Trek hater. I watched this tailer and another trailer of this film. I found them to be breathtaking. Also, Star Trek is another prominent science fiction series and I have always thought highly of Star Trek. If I am not wrong, James Tiberius Kirk and Spock need to go back in time and save the former's father. Please correct me if I wrote any false information, Star Trek fans.

  • @tungtung119 Let the force be with you !

  • @MasterJB9 Welcome to the club.

  • FIRE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!1!!

  • The sequel should be called...

Star Trek II: Spock Takes it in the Ass

  • I knew you were being Homophobic, but I lol'd anyway...

  • i have no idea why this movie is my favorite. :|

  • @hellicare08: because it´s the sum of 40 years of awesomeness that is Star Trek.

  • I like this movie, although there are some inconsistencies that irk my inner Trekker: 1, the Enterprise was built at the San Fransisco shipyards(in orbit), not in Iowa (on the ground). 2, Kirk had hazel eyes, not blue. 3, McCoy had blue eyes, not brown. 4, What was the deal with the engine room?? Refit for next film, please JJ!

  • @1701spacecadet ya the engine room was pretty insane looking, with all those water slides everywhere haha. i also heard that j.j. had never seen any star trek before he made this, you know if that's true?

  • @jaxichans That's not true, of course xD He say himself in the dbonus feature on the dvd that he is a fan of Star Trek :)

  • Kick ass movie!

  • Great movie great reboor can not wait when the sec will be release.

  • As far as I'm concerned, Star Trek went to shit with the first episode of Voyager.

I don't care if the hardcore Trekkies hate JJ Abrams' version, if it leaves viewers thinking "hey, this Star Trek thing is pretty good, I might just check out some of the original stuff", then its done its job well.

  • Fire Everything

  • I Love the 3rd trailer, it's inspiring.

  • You gotta hand it to him. JJ Abrams knows his stuff!

  • Chris Pine must be the sexiest man alive!!! <3

  • Star Wars and Star Trek can't really compete with each other. Star Trek is a TV series with 11 spin of movies and Star War is just 6 movies. Not to mention William Shatner is totally biased. If you would rival the Star War movies with the 11 Star Trek movies then Star Wars would win and one of the reasons being that the original 1966 movies don't need a reboot like Star Trek does. This Star Trek reboot with Chris Pine deserves the entire Star Trek rave.

  • thumbs up if this movie inspired you.

  • I dare you to do better.

  • Second trailer's the best.

  • Trailer 2 rocks

  • 3:27 for the greatest trailer ever.

  • Trailer 3. Two Steps From Hell - Freedom Fighters music.

    Epic SONG! EPIC TRAILER!

  • Such a fantastic reboot of a series, I can't WAIT for the next one in 2012.

Third trailer of the three you show is my favorite! "Your father was Captain of a starship for 12 minutes. He saved 800 lives, including yours. I dare you to do better..."

  • I love the scenes on the Ice Planet Hoth with Luke Kirkwalker, and the fact that Obi Wan Spock was there as well was just pure genius, can't wait to see if Darth Nero is really Luke's father, just have to wait for the next film, The Federation Strikes Back.

  • this movie made me a trekkie

  • I sat in the dorm lounge in the late 60's and watched original Star Trek every week and everything since and this movie is awesome.

  • this is like episode 1,2 and 3 of star wars by the look of it...

plus the actors, why is not shatner in this one?

  • 'Trek needs to get back to it's roots and stop trying to compete with Star wars. There's a big big big world out there full of people with brilliant ideas to pitch to the franchise.

  • Trailer 3 by leaps and bounds.

  • @TheScalden The Kolinhar is the Vulcan ritual to purge all emotion. If you have seen the movie, Spock rejects the Kolinhar to get into Starfleet.

  • @seinfeldfan7898 Wrong again. That whole "sob" scene was to show that Spock will eventually be the same man from TMP. It was a pointless scene from a pointless movie made for people who have pointless lives.

  • @Trekfreek

Truly it is sad that the fanbase of this show has forgotten the message of tolerance, equality and understanding that the series promoted and has evolved into a organized religion complete with different fanatical factions arguing over whose interpretation is best. People like you are what killed the franchise by chasing off any new fans and acting as if it was made just you you and nobody else. Like I said before, that's a real selfish attitude.

  • @Trekfreek Aren't all movies pointless? Thats kind of the point.

  • @videohero1000 So you think that Laurence of Arabia was pointless? How about Gandhi, or It's a Wonderful Life? I suppose Shindlers List was only about a human smuggler. Star Trek 1-10 had a moral or political points to them. 1 was about how we perceive God and why believing in something other than logic is important. 2 was about the arms race. 3 was about responsible science. 4 was about hunting. 5 was about how we perceive God. 6 was about the end of the cold war. ect.

  • @Trekfreek hear that? that's the sound of nobody giving a damn. get a life, nerd. try getting out of your momma's basement every month or so. Sunlight is good for you.

  • Obnoxious trekkies ruined Star Trek for me with all their constant bitching among themselves over what is and isn't canon. I can hardly look at any Star Trek related video without seeing some idiot bitching and moaning about every single aspect of that particular show/movie.

  • Trailer 3 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've never seen the original Star Trek but I liked this movie!

  • @TheScalden Troll fail.

  • @TheScalden maybe because spock is half human and half vulcan so he has emotions. Watch the movie, its a really good movie

  • @TheScalden Vulcans have emotions, they are just supposed to suppress them.

  • Perfect use of Two Steps From Hell

  • @Trekfreek the only ship i liked in the new movie was the kelvin. everything else looked like shit.

  • This movie kicked ass!

  • @NatureTracker75

yeah ... actually was better than i expected ... great movie (oh and great music too)

  • @carlosjuniorwd . Space is, only, the next frontier. The final frontier is, without doubt, GOD...

  • it was definitely a gread idea to get JJ Abrams into the star-trek boat.

Look at the trailer of "Super 8" here on youtube. Also a great movie. He was the right person to give Star Trek a good ending that may in some years also be a new beginning. Even if it will take 10 years or more until Star-Trek comes back. This movie put live back into the old rotten Star-Trek franchise.

  • WE WANT CONTINUED ! (Click like)

  • Man why did you have to kill Star Trek..

  • Nero: The Wait is over

...for the best Star Trek movie in a long time

  • best movie!!

  • The thirdf trailer gave nerdgasms deep in my soul. I ´ve watched the complete series and watched Star Trek VI in teathers in 1991, and every movie since and this IS the movie I´ve always dreamed for Star Trek, something in "Crisis on the Infinite Earths" level.(maybe if the Next Gen movies had this giant budget and felt like movies instead of episodes, we would still see Picard and CIA on the big screen and Paramount wouldn´t had to resurrect Captain Kirk.

  • I didn't see the first teaser on YouTube my first time, but on the TV. Not knowing about the film's production, I don't think I can remember another time I was that shocked and excited.

  • One reason I love this movie so much is because of the weapons. Yes I'm gonna bitch about this. This enterprise has like a thousand laser turrets scattered across the hull, and yet in the star trek sries, all of them, they only had for basic weapons, a laser on the top of the hull, a laser on the bottom, a torpedoe launcher in the front, and a torpedo launcher aft, that's all!!! In a galaxy full of klingons, domion, romulan, abd borg, and the only u only have 4 weapons?! WTF!

  • @samysasy419 The Phasers can wipe out whole cities the Torpedoes are more powerful than a nuke. They only need 5 weapons (you forgot the aft phasers) for defense. After all the real Starfleet is an exploration organization, peace keeping is second on their list. Watch the real Trek (the upgraded one if you’re into FX) again; you will see it's 100 times better than this mindless pile of shit.

  • Whenever the Enterprise, The Defiant or Voyager get in to a fire fight. Decency prevails. The writers of 'Trek should've been given medals on a weekly basis.

  • at 5:21 he looks just like the old spock...just right there.

  • When I first saw this in theaters, the trailer 1, half the theater had a fucking nerdgasm.

  • Will the 5 Year Mission Program still Exist in the New Timeline with the Newer and Faster Ships ? Who Started the 5 Year Mission Program in the Original Timeline ? Was it Captain Robert T. April of the USS Constitution NCC-1700, who later transferred to the New Enterprise NCC-1701 ? Captain April would have been an Intelligent, Physically Imposing, Charismatic, Barfighting .Handsome Built Man simliar to an earlier James T. Kirk.Captain April Turned Command over to Captain Christopher Pike.

  • They get Zoe Saldana, a Puerta Rican to play LT Uhura, when The original LT Uhura ( Nichelle Nichols) was an African American. My god they suck. Why didn't they get Jada Pinket Smith to -play her. That would have been more acceptable.

  • "Space in disease & danger wrapped in darkness & silence."

  • "Space in disease & danger left in darkness & silence."

  • the Star Trek series were a classic so this film had alot riding on its shoulders, and they did a great job on this film. i was so great that they ended the film the way they started every episode in the series;

"space the final frontier, these are the voyages of the star ship enterprise, its continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilisations, to boldly go where no one has gone before wooohhhhhhhsssssssssss" lol x x

  • BEST YOUTUBE VIDEO EVER??? GOD I LOVE STAR TREK. Best. Movie. Of. All. Time. right here, folks!!! Bring on the new one coming soon!!!! :^)

  • @V1NF1N1TY are yuo 13 years old or just a moron!! this was a piece of shit thta was produced by a liberall coke head!! fuck you and fuck this stupid movie!! grow the fuck up!!

  • @irishsean2 You're flipping out over a movie that's based on a TV SHOW lol. Was it a good TV show? Sure. But again, it was just a TV SHOW. Relax, and learn to have fun. Your nerd-verse isn't destroyed. You can still go back and watch your favorite series and enjoy it. I would suggest that YOU grow the fuck up.

  • @McflyMcMurderface Get Smart, Mission Impossible, and law and Order are just TV shows. Star Trek redefined our couture. It inspired scientists, inventors, Astronauts, & Presidents. By changing it, you effectively kill off a huge chunk of our couture. The person here who should "grow the fuck up" is you. You’re still acting like an 8 year old bully picking on his future boss. Remember it's the people with visions and heroes who become inventors & heroes. True Star Trek inspires whole generations.

  • @Trekfreek

Otherwise than Vulcan, your couture is still their....live with that.

  • @ThomyThompson The word is "culture". This movie only inspires people to be lucky & to make magical swards that fit in a person’s anus. It has no real science in it. Doctor McCoy is little more than torturer, how is that going to inspire people to become Doctors from this movie? Scotty is a moron & an ass hole, how will people want to be engineers by watching this film? They’re not; instead they will be dweebs wondering why they got fired for hitting their supervisor. This ST:XI is not culture.

  • @Trekfreek you say you want a fair and balanced viewpoint... yet you're only pointing out flaws, and you're calling the entire film a flaw. that's called being a hypocrite

also, there's something called willing suspension of belief: watching/reading something while ignoring any flaws it had, something you don't seem to have

besides, this film was pushed toward a wider audience, NOT trekkies, and it made all the money to save Star Trek, which it needed (being Trek-like would have killed it)

  • @Omegafire17 It is better to let a series die than to have its legacy pissed on by Hollywood!

  • @Trekfreek When you make a movie that ONLY panders to hardcore fans, it alienates the general public and greatly reduces the chances of drawing in new fans. That's a rather selfish attitude.

  • @Trekfreek In the words of William Shatner, "Get a life". Star trek needed a make over.

  • @TheREALforeverone It should be noted that William Shatner actually liked and supported the reboot.

  • @irishsean2 lets have a little lesson on maturity. Im 13 I liked this movie and it is one of my favourites. I consider using the word fuck as an insult is not...nice. I use it too but as an expression and I use it when Im hurt or inderectly for example towards a teacher(im expressing this calmly so that this isnt missunderstood). Why didnt you like it? Try expressing it a little more less agressivly.

  • @MrTeamimpact irishsean2 needs a rest, so I'll tell you why it's horrible. Magic boxes for turbo lifts, Black holes switch from worm holes to black holes, emotionless aliens more emotional than humans, a cadet with a criminal record makes captain of the flag ship over night, and a villain so stupid he does not realize that old Spock was trying to help and that he can get his revenge by giving his warrior race of people his advanced technology. Give me one reason why it's good. Just one...

  • love this movie :) little spock was my favorite part of the whole film!! really makes me wanna get into TOS, I've seen a few episodes before but now I might actually get into Star Trek

  • I nerded all over the floor when I heard "the final frontier"

  • @Daegonath Imagine how I felt when I was in the cinema. I lost track of my 'nerdly' things when I started having sex. And I did nothing to despoil the floor.......... But seriously, I didn't know much about this re-boot until I saw this trailer in the cinema and it got me pretty pumped up for the movie, which, again, did not disappoint. I think a sequel should be due right about now, or maybe that's wishful thinking

  • I remember seeing the first trailer when I want to see Cloverfield. Damn that was a long time ago.

  • New Star Trek movie will come 2012

  • @xsf908

    actually, 2013

  • Sar Ttek (XI aka 09) in 400 characters or less...Bad guy comes from the future seeking revenge on events that have not happened. Hoodlum Kirk gets on board the enterprise. Vulcans say: “We have no emotions...You Humans are STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!" Punk ass Kirk gets command by fighting with superior officers and forcing them to obey him. Kirk's ill conceived plan to defeat the bad guy miraculously works and everyone forgets his uncouth behavior and gives him command of their flag ship.

  • "Crome! Crome! Crome! baba balooba!"

  • I remember ,that i had a never seen NERDGASM as i saw the first trailer.

  • @Rollora I'm almost positive you're right, it sounds a lot like themes from The Dark Knight for sure.

  • TSFH FTW!!!

  • From 3:44 is this is from the soundtrack of Christopher Nolans Batman:Beginning/Dark Knight or am I wrong?

  • @Rollora Maybe it was in Batman Begins but for sure the song is called Freedom Fighters composed by Two Steps From Hell.

  • your father was captain of a starship for 12 minutes....he saved 800 lives....including yours- that part gets me.

  • @WENEEDBACKUPNOW It really jabs at my heart, too. The greatness and selflessness a man can save in such a short allotment of time with a noble sacrifice. I never watched any of the other star treks, but I really, really loved this movie...

  • @WENEEDBACKUPNOW 'I dare you to do better ... I have 801 people, you have 10 minutes to save them'

    RiffTrax XD

  • @ImagineWizard I just watched that two days ago. God, rifftrax rules so much lol. My favorite though, is still the rifftrax for Star Trek V. Man, they butchered that movie lol.

"Look, Shatner's trying to scale his own ego." lol

  • summer trailers are always the same...you'll notice the teaser (something to get you excited) an action one to get you excited... then the emotional one that is supposed to get you connected to the film and keep the trailer resonating after you watch it. But this trailer is the best combination of music (by Two Steps From Hell) and imagery thanks to JJ Abrams.

  • i agree with you, the trailer was AWESOME!!!! :)

  • 4:25 "I've been waiting for this day my whole life. This day of reckoning" The best line in movie history to end up on the cutting room floor.

  • Cameron is Kirk's mom :D

  • Pike: "your father was captain of a ship for 12 mins and saved 800 lives, i dare you to do better!"

    Kirk: " :| "

  • I gotta say, Trailer 2 is my top pick. Great music! Makes me want to watch the film again.

  • The way people are praising this junk yard of a film always reminds me of a cartoon I saw when I was 8 years old, Volcanic worshipers praising the volcano chanting "Chrome, Chrome, Chrome. Ba-ba-bo-looba! Chrome" Over and over again. SNAP OUT OF IT!!! Look at the movie with fresh eyes and see it for what it is a bad film flooded with bright lights and FX's to entice you to watch it over and over and over again; Otherwise Known as Brain washing.

  • @Trekfreek FanBOYs are so annoying. Emphasis on boy. This movie is awesome, Star trek is ONLY entertainment and nothing more. To take it seriously is illogical. In the words of William Shatner, " Get a Life"

    .... I bet you like Nemesis. ;)

  • @TheREALforeverone Lets get something strait KID BOY! Star Trek is ONLY entertainment as much as the Mona Lisa is just a painting! Let me ask you something. Would you add fireworks, make her smile and change her hair color to please other people? NO? Then why do you like this travesty called Star Trek (XI)? PS. Using my YouTube friend William Shater's joke against me is childish at best. PS. Nemesis = Spock's Brain bad but still Trek. ST:XI is not Trek, it's not even a good film.

  • @Trekfreek dude you got it to get over it. the other star trek movies were boring and lame. maybe its just that my incompentent mind cant comprehend the level of intellect those old movies have to offer but you should not bash people who like this movie. by the way are you going to watch super 8 and star trek 2 (2012)

  • @TheCoffeeNut711 your opinion is weak.

    Good Trek films:

STAR TREK 2, 3, 6, FIRST CONTACT, NEMESIS AND 2009.

Nothing compares to the original series tho!

  • @dude75able I haven't seen 2 and 3 yet but I did enjoy 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11. I found 1, 4 and 7 to be underwhelming and 5 to be a total mess.

  • @TheCoffeeNut711 Why don't you get a clue. I have a right to write my opinion. Trying to get me to back off by saying shit like "get over it" will only strengthen my resolve. The “Old movies” Rock, Sure there wasn't any 90210 love scenes, or Scotty belittling a hairless Ewok. But there was plenty of Drama & action. The Older films actually had plots that were not stolen from Sar Wars. Jar Jar's Super 8 is a rip off of a Torchwood episode and his ST:12 is going to be a copy of this crap.

  • @Trekfreek Dude, ok, we get it, you don't like this Star Trek movie, but don't go off and say the people who like it are "who are simply entertained by bright lights and effects", i mean its not like the movie came out and physically raped you or something.

  • Trailer 1 = Super dramatic awesome.
