For anyone interested in learning more about the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight saga, there is a graphic story album trilogy released by Dark Horse. The three books are entitled Soldier For the Empire, Rebel Agent, and Jedi Knight, respectively.

Choreography and CGI is so crappy though understandable given the budget at the time and after all it's only game but you gotta love having official live action cut scenes it's like an extra SW movie, so awesome. Also Kyle Katarn is bad ass, i would love 3 new movies based solely on his story.

Story of this game is much darker and epical than the movies, and it's only good thing. Story and this game at all is better than all 3 new Star wars movies together. But noone of my friends doesn't want o play it because there is not good grabhics. This is the best FPS, and Star Wars game ever!

Live action cut scenes are still better for games like this. In Engine cuts work better in games like GTA.

No, they SUCK ass. Back then, for a brief period between the text based cinematics and the new full cutscenes of today, everyone had to sit through these poorly made rubbish excuses for plot development. I'm just watching them to remind myself how far video games have come. And that I hate Boc (the mentally handicapped twi'lek shown behind the dark jedi at about 2:06ish in the vid), Boc is totally more handicapped then Jar Jar.

Yes, these cut scenes aren't that great. Cut scenes made directly with the graphic engine (like those in Unreal) are far better.
