eyes do go to the left when lying (top left if your constructing an image that never happened) (middle left if your constructing a sound) which u said. but this occurs when giving a responce. for eg "Bill clinton did you sleep with her?" "No i didnt sleep with her" he wouldnt look left because hes not constructing an image. cuz it did happen. he would look top right (this is visual memory)
