I was horrified to watch you waste all your hunting rifle bullets like that. The shotgun would work just fine. Those rifle shells are so rare. I always horde them until the final boss.
@MrAnimeopera The guide I was using said to use the rifle. If I'd have known that the Shotgun was more effective, I would have used that. I don't really like using the Hunting Rifle though, as you can't move while firing it, like you can with the Handgun and Shotgun.
@MrAnimeopera What kind of game gives you the Hunting Rifle in an arena where you are forced to fight a boss where you can't escape (and blatantly point out with the camera angle that the rifle is there in the first place)?
Does it really matter? For one, I am playing on Easy. So the enemies take less shots. I have a large supply of Shotgun ammo also. I am not going to have a problem beating the game.

It appears that shots aren't affecting that Caterchipillar boss after he's halfway through the ground. This looks like a pain in the ass. I don't blame you for having a bit of a struggle with it.

The music playing during the convo with Cybil is pretty nice. It's probably by far the closest thing to "pretty" that can be found in this game. "Trinkets" is the name, I believe? And there are three variations of this song overall, I think, all of them excellent.
Whoa, does the mythos of Silent Hill involve drug use? Or are they just bullshittin' around. Interesting.
Don't worry about saving too much, I think the rating systems in Survial Horror games are kinda unnecessary.

I think to get the best rating for saves, you're only allowed to save twice. Kind of unrealistic for an LP unless I recorded the whole thing in one sitting. It is possible to beat the whole game in under an hour and a half though...

The axe seems SO useless in this game. I suppose someone could use it against the dogs but I usually just run away from them because I can't be bothered with the hassle of fighting them/wasting ammo.
For some reason it makes me laugh how Harry is like "Just discovered it.", I can't really put my finger on it, though. It also cracks me up how crazy/clueless Harry's story sounds. No wonder Cybil is like "wtf?". lol @ "I was just wondering *sigh* never mind..."
@eltaire Yeah, reminds me of the stungun in SH3, you pick it up when you already have a shotgun, katana, maul, etc.
I like Harry as a main character because he's not some "badass" military dude with no personality as they all are in video games now, he's just a regular guy who can be a bit dumb and awkward at times.
@eltaire Man, if I can make it through SH3 as a 15 year-old, you can do it Astian. I believe in you. ;) Oddly, I don't remember shit from the game, but I remember thinkin' it was cool. Smoking too much pot as a kid has regrettable consequences on one's memory, I'm afraid. :(
