The underlying law of nature may be the world's most useful, profitable and encouraging knowledge.
e.g., It is the most effective and efficient means to improve the performance of any process.

A very unusual professor! I love his funny moments at 0:05 - German makes fun of himself :-) 3:50 Columbus joke :-) 4:27 small audience joke :-) 8:00 Godel / Schwarzenegger joke :-)
As someone said at the Singularity Summit: Jürgen Schmidhuber is the Leonardo da Vinci of our era! Brilliant scientist and artist at the same time. Have you seen his drawing of a self-similar woman at 6:35 of the video? Made from pure mathematics! Blows me away. Also check out his H+ magazine interview "Build An Optimal Scientist, Then Retire" where I posted essentially the same comment a while ago.
@purplegreendahlia schmidhuber is a robot! CAN'T YOU SEE, YOU ASSHOLES!!! he's an alien. he must be destroyed before it's too late and he gives birth to an alien baby. LMAO! no seriously. DESTROY! life is too short to appreciate beauty. giggles.
