yes, you can mix and match anything you want. theres certain records that will go better together of course. usually you dont want to scratch noises or sounds over top of lyrics. thats why its good to have a mix of instrumentals, acapellas, and battle or scratch records...then you can just explore from the sounds/music youve acquired.
Nice to see a pair of stanton t80s and the matching mixer in action. Just bought this setup myself and im waiting on the delivery, had some doubts about whether or not its any good but your videos are reassuring me.
you know, i never really thought of making the mp3 available. my laptop has been down for a while which is where the mp3 would be....as soon as i fix it i'll upload it somewhere and let you know.
oh and, srry i keep asking questions lol, but where do you get your records? i've just been lookin on amazon and lookin on the internet where would you suggest to look? or do you just go to a local store?
theres not really a special way to set up the table to scratch or anything as far as i know, i just followed the instructions and hooked it up how it said to...maybe put a little more weight on the needles if you plan to scratch to try to help prevent skipping...but otherwise thats it really.
Alright thanks..how long did it take you to figure out these songs could go together and how did you match them?? Listen to the original songs and see if they sounded the same or?? Sorry for all the questions..thanks in advance.
i have the standard stuff on the tables, whatever they came with...the needles are like c500 or something, i dont remember...whatever the djlab3 has is what they are
naa i can only scratch straight off vinyls, i dont use any programs as of right now....i just use the accapellas to make beats with in a program called 'reason'
yo if you get a program called bit torrent you can get your hands on some...i just downloaded 8 gigs of acapellas using it...it has so many songs i dont even know what half of them are
you cant really scratch when doin a mix like this unleess you have more equipment cause there both playin at the same time and your eat matching will get thrown off
yea this was just a mix, it was more about keeping the lyrics in time with the beat...any scratching was just to match up bars or whatever...thanks tho man
Whats the instrumental on the left turnable? (: thanks , that's class by the way!!
adamennis999 1 year ago

I'm also musically inclined and i've been thinking about branching into turntables.
First of all, dont kid yourself, you could DJ a party. this beat is DOPE.
next question. What sort of learning curve is there? prolly gonna pick up this DJ in a box kit.
