They have the strongest everything else, but Fedor is still #1. Unlike Couture who is an exceptional fighter, Fedor is still very young in MMA standards. Unless he retires at the age of 33 we will see Fedor until he is 40.

I know in Sambo there really big on leg locks and of course Vanilla throwing. Judo is huge on throwing, it takes almost 6-10 years to get a Judo black belt, so I go with Fedor in this one.

You will often see two world class grapplers fight each other like amacher boxers. Why do they not use their grappling skills. Nah, he faced top tier opponents while in Affliction. The biggest case is Tym Sylvia, who he beat. The UFC doesn't have the strongest heavyweight division in the world. They have the strongest everything else, but Fedor is still #1. Unlike Couture who is an exceptional fighter, Fedor is still very young in MMA standards. Unless he retires at the age of 33 we will see Fedor until he is 40.

Fedor showed he is not a true champion when he chickened out of joining the UFC. A true champion wants to face the best in the world -- and the UFC is where the best HW fighters are at. And even worse, the UFC offered Fedor US $5 Million PER FIGHT and he still chickened out.
Fedor belongs in Strikeforce with other sub-10 ranked fatties and freakshows. There are at least 5 HW's in the UFC that would crush Fedor.

As far as Fedor vs Brock goes I go with Fedor. Don't get me wrong Brock is an outstanding wrestler. His gas for his size and the amount of muscle he has seems unhuman. However Fedor is only 33 years old, Brock is just a few years younger. I do Judo and my teacher used to coach with a 2x Sambo world champion. I know in Sambo there really big on leg locks and of course Vanilla throwing. Judo is huge on throwing, it takes almost 6-10 years to get a Judo black belt, so I go with Fedor in this one.

Uh from what i hear and know brock lesnar walks around between 280 to 295 at the most and from what i know shaq walks around at 325 pounds!!!! And shaq is not fat at all shaq is in god shape so for shaq to cut down to 265 pounds is impossible. Shaq would have to lose a TON of muscle mass to make 265.

Dana is right MMA is so addicting, it sucks you in like no other sport. I like the sport but I can also tell you what I do not like about it as well. You will often see two world class grapplers fight each other like amacher boxers. Why do they not use their grappling skills. Saint Pierre uses grappling all the time and he never even wrestled in high school or college!!!

Boxing isn't as exciting or popular as MMA because boxing doesn't have a star. Boxing was popular at one time because of Mike Tyson. Everyone wanted to watch his fights because they knew it was going to be entertaining. Im not sure how much mma youve seen before, but in the early days boxing champions were obliterated by kicks, punches and ju-jitsu. Its combinations that work not just striking with punches.

You're right to an extent. There is no way any MMA fighter could ever beat a boxer in boxing. Boxing is a limited sport. Training two weapons forever is impossible to touch. Training 10+ weapons is "it is what it is"...But come on now, don't be ignorant.
