Uh not really. If completing 8 passes in one game and 12 of 29 the next is "destroying" a team than what Rex did to teams is murder. Orton played two bottom ranked pass D's, 32nd in Minnesota and 30th ranked in Saints, and a Packers team that didn't give two shits. He was mediocre at best. Rex posted better numbers against top 10 pass D's and playoff teams. The hell with Griese. Let Grossman start and Orton's a backup.
Well, maybe he didn't destroy them but he certainly helped us to finally get 2 wins in a row. He beat a Packers team that went to the NFC championship, how could he be a backup. Grossman will forever suck, either we should get a good QB from trading or free agency or pick one up in the draft. If that doesn't happen, we should let the QBs compete for the starter position.
