Although I agree with audadvnc's comment, I'm not against plastic surgery to look better. If you have the money to do it, and you're not happy with the way you look, it's okay to have plastic surgery done. I really don't understand why society thinks it's so taboo. My guess is, people are jealous with those who can enhance their image. You only live once - you might as well look good while doing it.

look at this way and think: most of people are not happy with their look (specially in civilization countries). sometimes plastic surgery helps deprive sb's failures, but most it goes to more unhappy people (because they want enhance themselves more&more )

People look at life differently. Some people prefer to spend their life studying and help others; some people love to travel and explore different cultures; and some people just want to live a life of glamor and look good. Different people, different lifestyles, right?

Plastic surgery has reached the point where it's not as dangerous as it used to be. The majority of teens who decide to have plastic surgery, only get their nose done to remove a hump on the bridge. That's not a difficult surgery procedure, or at least it's not for a good surgeon. Teens 13-17 live with their parents, and I am sure 99% of parents wouldn't let their kids have plastic surgery. By the time the child is out of their parents home, they most likely don't want plastic surgery anymore.

If they still do want to have surgery, then they are now older and would look into getting the procedure done. He or she would look into the cost, looking for a good surgeon, complications ,etc.

Media does have a large influence on the younger generation, unfortunately. :( Not much I can say there.

Plastic surgery is wonderful for breast cancer and accident survivors. But, unless you've got a real problem, skip the cosmetic surgery. When in doubt, don't.

Get a boyfriend who likes you the way you are.
