You can't debate someone who doesn't present an argument based on facts and evidence. spirituality is a person thing, its "all in your head". You can't just make up facts like "proteins cannot assemble on their own" (this has been proven in a lab) or "fossils prove creation" what a vague statement. I also am arguing in vain because you have a belief that cannot be explained and you are so firm in that belief that no amount of evidence i present will change your mind.
An opinion poll was conducted in Britain. But the result came as a shock to Darwinists. The level of belief in the theory of evolution, in Darwins homeland, Britain, where Richard Dawkins atheist and Darwinist propaganda is most intense, emerged at a mere 25%. Britains best-known dailies immediately carried the story. This important and major development came as a real shock to Darwinists. It was the loudest declaration of Darwinisms defeat.
The result of the survey, carried out nationwide on the Guardian website on 2 February, 2009, was announced as follows: Only 25% of Britons believe Darwins theory of evolution. This headline, which reflected the poll findings, was altered within a few hours!
It has not been shown to be a FACT, sir! I thought you knew that as a learned person, but it seems I was wrong. Theory of evolution ATTEMPTS to explain what it claims.
William Thomson, Lord Kelvin, (1824 - 1907) once said,
"When you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it; but when you cannot measure it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge of it is of a..."
Slow down, in science evolution is fact, you're confusing the "theory of evolution" with evolution, evolution is a demonstratable fact (mitochondrial DNA, human chromosome #2) there are 100's of thousands of evolutionary facts (like the fact we share DNA profiles with apes and other mammals) the "theory of evolution" attempt to unite the facts, not one of the worlds great university biology departments would agree with you, you have an axe to grind, they don't
Yep, it's got the title of "facthood", BUT that clearly is the perspective of Evolutionists like Douglas J. Futuyma - not that of thousands of creation scientists repudiate any form of molecules-to-man evolution in their analysis and use of scientific data.
I do know that a vast majority of scientists accept evolution BUT it does not change mine and millions of others' stance that Evolution has real problems in terms of probability.
so simple beginnings such as evolution supports are less likely than extremely complicated beginnings? if your god exists he would have to be the most complicated entity imaginable, and you're saying that for god to "pop out of nowhere" is more likely than evolution? it makes more sense to "assume" the energy needed for the big bang has "always" existed (E=MC2) rather than "assume" god has "always" existed for one simple reason, it's a fact that energy exists, there is no proof god exists!
You can't prove something doesn't exist, that's why the flying spaghetti monster has as much credibility as the god of Abraham, I assume you agree there is proof energy exists? and there is no proof god exists, if you're going down the "but there's no proof he doesn't exist" then you may as well believe Tom Cruise as there is also "no proof that Thetans don't exist, or unicorns of faeries or Santa or ..etc..etc..etc
you need to FALSIFY that God exists. So far your crew has been unable to do that. People actually worship spaghetti monster? Well you can expect anything when people can worship penises (Shiva linga).
I'm still waiting for you to tell me who wrote your bronze age book! you said you knew, on an aside, what might your god have been thinking when he designed smallpox? you're probably aware that it killed around 500,000,000 people in the last century, most of them children, what's all that about?
They can't have deserved such a horrible death through sin as Jesus died for their sins
so what if 500,000,000 people died? Death is real, you will die even though you do not get small pox. when exactly did God say that life on earth is going to be full of peace? By the way I never said that Jesus died for my sins!
Francis Bacon died about 450yrs ago, compared to modern day scientists he know very little, so he quote may have held some merit in the relatively ignorant times, but it's sounds a little puerile now, as we decided earlier all western seats of learning supports evolution, just look at the lack of creationist Nobel prize winners, had the Nobel prize been offered in those ignorant times many creationists may have won one, it's a good job medicine isn't locked in the time of ignorance.
the very fact that you said that "not one of the world's great university biology ..." I realized that you are a person who does not think deeply. What makes a university great? Is it absolute? is it relative? is it even empirical? Does publishing 1.7 million research articles make one a "great" university? So what if we share 98% of our genome with monkeys? how EXACTLY does it show that humans are distantly related to apes? Evolution is an interpretation imposed by humans on certain facts.
What makes a university great? reputation is a good start, if a university has a reputation for producing outstanding graduates in physics, chemistry and geology (who by the way,all support a multi billion year old universe), why would YOU assume the biologists from the same university are ALL mistaken? and as for your last point, do a little research into human chromosome #2 then try to explain your findings without the use of evolution.
Well really... I don't know what all the fuss is about, everyone knows Man was created by extra terrestrial herrings who need something to fish them on their new planet.
A bunch of high school students and bonehead muslims are unconvinced of evolution? So what? This is a scientific theory and its validity is a question for scientists who're learned in the field. Guess what they've decided...
You're slighly confused, evolution has been shown to be a fact, the "theory" of evolution attempts to explain the fact, gravity is a fact, the "theory" of gravity explains that fact, the same with germ theory and atomic theory, you say 50% of scientists disagree with evolution, could you name some (credible ones please, not graduates from "Dave's bible school and grill")
...meager and unsatisfactory kind: it may be the beginning of knowledge, but you have scarcely, in your thoughts, advanced to the stage of science."
I know of MANY such scientists, but I'd say chances are when Ill name the ones against Evolution, they would be immediately removed from your list of that 'credible ones'.
Personally I find irresistible what Dr Colin Patterson (Senior Palaeontologist, British Museum of Natural History, London) said addressing at the American Museum in 1981.
you know nothing about Dr Colin Patterson apart from the one quote all creationists mis-use, he quite openly admits that Archaeopteryx may well be the ancestor of all modern birds, had he the chance to study the transitional inner ear workings of ambulocetus natans, the quote you so readily roll out would never have existed, ask yourself why yawns are infectious, of why a group of women synchronize their menstruation cycles if they spend a lot of time together, or even what your toenails are for
how exactly is evolution a fact? Gravity exists because of gravitational force, a universal phenomenon. How is evolution are universal phenomenon? Gravity pervades all matter, evolution exists only among living things, IF it exists. How is it a fucking fact mr-oh-so-smart?
Sheesh! try thinking just a bit! the earth has always orbited the sun this is a FACT! it was a fact before Newton and it was a fact after Newton.
Newton worked on a THEORY to explain the FACT he had observed (inverse square blah blah) You seem to think only living things evolve, the whole universe evolved, evolve just means gradual change, it doesn't mean "grows legs" Mr-oh-so-fuckin'-dim!
the whole universe evolved? ok, did gravity evolve? did universal gravitational law evolved? did the fact that hydrogen and oxygen gases react endothermically to form water evolved from some primitive reactions? I am the one who is doing the thinking here and you are the one who is blindly following what evolutionists have to say.
You cant have gravity without mass, which is why light isn't effected by gravity, also energy has no mass E=MC2 shows that energy can be converted into mass, gravity only exists as a physical force when two masses are present, as particles grow larger in mass gravity has a more obvious effect, even so gravity is a relatively weak force, I think it's a bit rich of you saying I'm blindly following evolutionists, when you admit to blindly following a bronze age book, and you don't know who wrote it
gravity bends the space the light is moving through, light has no mass and thus cannot be directly effected by gravity, think of it like this, you are traveling in a car and a huge magnet draws the car to to the left, you will move to the left as well even though the magnet has no direct effect on you, now I know next to nothing about black holes, but I seem to remember gamma ray bursts actually shoot out from black holes, gamma rays are a form electromagnetic radiation (light)
I stand corrected I guess. But can't the same thing be said of all gravitational force? That is, I'd been instructed to look upon it as a distortion in space-time that causes mass to coagulate. And light for whatever reason. I'm just a layman, don't listen to me.
I'd thought that black holes got their name because their gravity well is deep enough to hold light, but if they emit gamma radiation, then that's wrong too. Clearly I've reading to do...
Don't take my word for it, I just seemed to remember about the gamma bursts, and as gamma rays are a form of light and therefore "mass-less" even the immense gravitational force of a black hole can't stop it escaping, now I'm sure it's far more complicated than that, also we have to take into account that there might be two types of "black" black being lack of light in our visible spectrum, and maybe an "absolute black" encompassing all electromagnetic radiation
You can't debate someone who doesn't present an argument based on facts and evidence. spirituality is a person thing, its "all in your head". You can't just make up facts like "proteins cannot assemble on their own" (this has been proven in a lab) or "fossils prove creation" what a vague statement. But did you guys know that Satan personally tutored Charles Darwin in setting up the theories of evolution?

Sachi?! I never heard such a thing. Satan can't communicate with humans, I think. Hm?

So true! Transitional forms won't be found. And the theory gets laid to waste.
