  • Great...Too bad, and sorry, that he passed away, but I would like to say that I myself wouldn't have so much of the extension ladder above the roof-line like that, and I only have maybe three or so steps above the roof-line, so I wouldn't tend to go too high and have the ladder kick out on me. I have a 20-foot extension ladder, that I purchased mainly to reach up to the high roof I had on the 2 1/2 floor apartment, 2 1/2 floors above ground that is. Live in a trailer home now, so don't need it.

  • Amazing person that he accepted you filming him rather than helping him! Hope this man continues to get to do what he loves to do. Wow. regards Charlie.

  • Thank you, that was Dad he always prefered to do things on his own. He built the shed about 5 years ago and he just passed away in May.

  • Sorry to hear that. Good that he was able to keep busy into later life. So many peoples bodies give up on them. My Dad passed away in April. He was 84.

  • Sorry to hear of your loss- however I can only hope to live as long as our fathers did.

  • Great stuff can I borrow your Dad I need a shed? Thanks Linda

  • Hi Llerdy, great tribute to your dad, and thanks for your letter.
