But I like that he's humble and always gives credit to his sister. Schyler does always seem to be in Colton's shadow, and I think that's why he didn't want to audition, so the spotlight could be on her, but the judges yanked him back in.
She was at my school the other day. They both have amazing voices but it was her audition and i think its kinda wrong how they were like "oh thats pretty.. come on colton!" that wouldve hurt my feelings. But now hes in the top 24 and i wish the best of luck to them both :)

They treated Schyler like garbage. She did a lovely job singing with her quirky, interesting voice, but Jennifer gave her a lightning-fast brush-off - "So pretty - Colton! It's your turn." All in the same breath, without even a pause! She totally dismissed her! That was so rude. She handled it wish such grace though just like she handled getting cut later, and she was thrilled for her bro making top 24. Well after seeing firsthand it pays to try out again, hopefully Schyler will come back.

The judges were NOT rude, they were trying to make it clear to Colton that they believe in his talent and that hollywood is full of set backs but that doesn't mean you should give up your dream!...as for Schyler, they gave her really positive feedback. Besides, she's 16, her reaction to the judges asking Colton to audition makes sense for her age! They are both talented, and even though Schyler got cut last night, I hope she comes back next year.

@DriatheDiva Skylar definitely loves her brother and wants him to succeed, but Colton's had this plan to take a back seat this year so he could focus on supporting his sister. She wasn't angry that he auditioned; she's worried because she knows the judges love Colton and expect the same from Skylar. I'm pretty sure this was just a setup anyways because earlier in the show the camera showed colton sitting in one of the chairs that only people auditioning sit in. I think it was all about viewers honestly. Either way sure the judges were pretty rude by stealing his sisters thunder and they should have had him come in later on but he is definately better than her but thats my opinion. Colton is not a jerk!! Colton did not sign up not for the audition. He was there to support his sister, plus his parents would have probably made him go if he did not want to!! Plus it would have been crazy for him not to accept the audition.

All of you people saying that Colton stole Schyler's thunder are crazy. You could obviously tell that he didn't want to do it. They have wonderful voices so who really cares. If you think that he shouldn't have went to the audition with his sister, than you obviously don't know what sibling support is. You can tell that he's a good big brother. I'm so pissed. How rude of the judges. I'm livid. Yes, he's talented and sure, if he makes it I will be happy cause one more talented singer out there, great. But her voice is beautiful too, she's so young and was SO excited to branch off and do her own thing, and not be a shadow again. And what do the judges (aka J-lo) do...PUSH her right back into the shadow.

I think Colton is a bit of a jerk... He knew this was going to happen. He took his sister's thunder, and acted like he did nothing wrong. If he didn't want to audition we wouldn't have showed up. I hope Schyler goes further then he does!!!
