  • Could anyone tell me the drummer's name in this vid?

  • @kraftverk2011 Steve Gadd

Maybe you should take a look at wiki or so, who would NOT know him?

  • 1 word...beautiful!

  • pure fire. I can feel this song everytime i hear it.

  • I think what makes the Layla original of this so great is that he's probably hammered singing it...I know that sounds insensitive but his vocals rock on that album...he tries falsetto, really shreds it in parts too (Layla title track), and I reckon he was steaming! On the Live At The Filmore album with the Dominos he's hoarse as hell and it's great...I dig Clapton, and I know the guy has a different opinion of himself than we do, but Derek and D's was a golden period, musically and the rest.

  • aawwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

  • Thanks Eric and crew. Wow. God bless

  • this is one of my all time favorite Clapton songs -- unplugged makes it all that much sweeter!

  • Great, a few minutes of pleasure !!! Many thanks. I have shared it with "the World" !!!

  • aww, sweet,

  • one of the greatest acoustic solos of all times!

  • @robilars

I love this song too! Great Job! But "greatest acoustic solo"? Listen to Tommy Emmanuel - "Guitar boogie", "Angelina" and all the other wonderful songs: This is one of the greatest acoustic guitar players. Maybe Clapton is god, but Emmanuel is Godfather!

  • I'm shocked this great version of such a beautfiul song stands uncommented. I suppose I'll be the first to announce this song is fabulous and melts my heart.
