Does it even matter who the president is? Wouldn't the outcome be the same no matter who it is? This current economic crisis appears to be partially planned in order to hurt america and buy up our assets cheap when the market tanks. The role of the VP is two fold to take over the presidency if the need arises and cast a vote in the senate in the case of a TIE. A VP is not a member of the senate!

Right, but you should also add that Obama was a professor at the University of Chicago (one of the most prestigious schools in the country) and a US senator for 8 years.
We can also add that Palin was mayor of a tiny town pop (6000) and governor of Alaska for less than 2 years. Also, she still doesn't know what the VP does. She's under the mistaken impression that a VP can make policy in the senate. The VP doesn't do shit in the senate other than cast a vote in the case of a tie.

Guilt by association is cheap ok. When Ayers was committing acts of terrorism, Obama was 8 yrs old. In all honestly, do you think that Palin is qualified to lead the country if the need arises. For one thing she doesn't understand the mechanics of government as outlined in the constitution. You've heard her say that she's pro life in all cases even in cases of rape. Right and lets recall the decisiveness of McCain when the wall street meltdown began. One he cancels an interview with Letterman and suspends his campaign to "save the country" and head back to washington, but not before stopping on the Rachel Ray show and to do an interview with Couric. Was it absolutely necessary to suspend his campaign. Can't he multi-task?

He went back because congress tried to sneak through millions upon millions of tax payer dollars for ACORN in the bailout package. Thats the last group that deserves our money! McCain is even on record stating exactly that! McCain may not be the best choice, but considering the alternative he is the only choice that will preserve America and not "fundamentally" change it, i.e. SOCAILISM!!!

How is what Obama is proposing not socialsim?Taxing the rich,then giving "tax credits"to people who do not even pay federal taxes. That's a transfer of wealth in my book!Now one could argue that when we have programs such as medicare that we are in fact a socialist country...but the heart of our country rests on the private sector,the small business men and women of America. Just cause we live in the US does not mean we are all granted success, only that we all have an equal oppertunity at it!

Yeah one could but it would not be a very strong argument. I work in the landscaping industry and I know a lot of Hispanics who immigrated over here from Mexico who now own their own business and they do it by the books. Tell me what other country gives you oppertunitys to make it like that when you start with virtually nothing. Most, but not all, who argue America is unfair are, for lack of a better term, lazy.
I myself do not hold a degree but I manage a Stihl retail and service store.

Did you also know they plan to hold onto the mortgages and charge a small interest fee so that when the houses rise back to a decent market they will have actually made a small profit for the taxpayers. When Michelle Obama appeared on the View it was revealed that she was wearing a 148 dollar dress which is a huge difference between the 6000 dollar designer clothes that Palin walks around it. Yesterday, I saw Arnold (the terminator) on CNN and he was talking about how Palin was a brilliant choice and then the interviewer asked is Palin ready to be President and Arnold's reply was "She'll get there" to which the interviewer said "She'll get there?" The VP is supposed to be ready on day one!
