1: I don't know... it is your accusitions agains theirs. The only thing I know that Russian PK were placed their after international agreement. They hadn't any heavy weaponry. 8/8/8 is the first ever! occasion when official goverment attacked peacekeeprs. Before that the worst case was an ambush to 24 Pakistani peacekeeprs in Somalia, by some insrugents!
Because I was going to serve as peacekeeper in Kosovo, this matter is very sensitive for me.

But who are those 500? Civilians and peacekeepers? May I ask how many Georgian civilians have died in Gory and Poti or anywhere else? 10? 20? And how many combatants have died from Georgia side? I bet less than 500, because they all run away for defense of Tbilisi.

The independant European committee, which was sent to Georgia after Sarkozi-Medvedev and Sarkozi-Saakashvili agreement, just two days ago at 21/09/2009 finished its work and made up with a report.
Their desicion is that probably Russia could do some more political steps to prevent what happend, but clearly this conflict was started by Georgia and responsibility of this agression fully lies on Saakashvili's shoulders.

not only did russia already try to shut off our supply line (until we were able to cut another deal with a northern neighbor) as well as funding iran who is killing US and Georgian troops who are fighting alongside us tooth and nail against al qaeda (just like in afghanistan, and i dont know what your talking about georgia "allowing" al qaeda in) and chavez smugling drugs into the US
