  • THIS IS ALL AROUND FUNNY, KMG365!!!!!!!!

  • When Gage trips over the airtank, it makes the same sound as the Mark VII hammer. It's at the 0:32 mark.

  • @SWEETWILLKINGSTON I think they used the Mark VII sound for bleeping out swearing.

  • "it's not nice to fool mother nature...." bet that went over a lot of heads... lol

  • 2:25 hahahahahhahahhahahaha lmfao lmfao hahahahahahah the best one fricken classic

  • 3:10 and 3:29 Priceless!!

  • BondoFox: Most of this was taken from a blooper reel that was shown at the fan convention in 1998, a reel that was made with the help of the cast and production staff. The sound effects were in the original piece.

  • I wonder if there were any unreleased "Emergency!" or "Adam-12" shows? I did hear about a "Richter Six" episode script which was, to my knowledge, never shot." FYI the cartoon sound effects were likely added in when the producers made the blooper film. This is obviously from Mark VII.

  • These -- are -- PRICELESS!!

    Thank you!!

Only who's the dickwad who keeps thinking he has to add cartoon sound effects? That kills the whole freaking reel.

  • After growing up with this show as one of my favorites it is cool to see this, thank you for sharing.

  • Love It!!! :) :) :)

  • This was undoubtably my most favorite show growing up !!!!! I am still hooked on it after 35 yrs. And yes, I did grow up to be a firefighter.

"Hi I'm Kevin Tighe" @ 1:14 is HILARIOUS. It's like he is talking to a basket case. LOLOLOL! Wonderful compilation of bloopers!

  • 4:39 to 4:54. it's too bad the only Adam-12 blooper clip known to exist was that of a crossover

  • There is an Adam-12 blooper reel, it just has not been released to the public.

  • I wish they would release it. Marty would get a kick out of it, Kent I'm not too sure about.

  • I have heard that Shout Factory has been in the works to get the blooper reel and other extras, lets hope that they are successful.

  • Thank you so much .. excellent tribute!! (Mr. Fuller .. it's not nice to fool Mother Nature!) ..

  • The Nuisance, off season 5, but he wasn't suppose to flip the chair over, just tilt it back a little and spin it around. I've got that episode taped it is one of the funniest ones in my book...In case you didn't know, the 5th season comes out Jan. 20th!

  • AT 2:43, what episode was that blooper from?

  • The one where they had to remove an explosive round from a gun collector who shot himself.

  • do you know the exact name of the episode?

  • IIRC "Green Thumb." The main plot is about Roy taking care of a plant for a woman in the hospital.

  • Thanks a lot!

  • I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this tv series I come from Poland pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease seed season 3 and four on pirates torrent pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

  • Did they have a fireman who was on as the real one on the shows

  • Yes. Mike Stoker, the engineer for Engine 51, was a real firefighter for the L.A. fire department.

  • Stoker rocked! Didn't the show have him as part of the cast because they needed someone qualified to drive an expensive rig like that? He was also part of the screen actor's guild I think....?

  • Stoker not only knew how do drive Engine 51, he also knew how to operate the pumps and of course could consult on what hoses and techniques to use in different situations. And yes, he was one of the only LACoFD firefighters to already have a SAG card. Stoker's real assignment was Station 69 in Topanga Canyon.

  • what a riot this is! my fav show of all times.

  • LOL!!!!! Soooooo HILARIOUS!

  • i noticed that through the fisrt three seasons, johnny gage groans a lot. johnny, why is that? i`ve always thought he was hurt or something , its kinda creepy but i still like him

  • I tell yuh, that medkit was booby trapped :D I also love the use of the MARK VII hammer sound as a sound effect.

  • no matter how many times I watch, I always laugh. Thanks!

  • Can anyone explain the one where the firefighter goes into the bunkroom and then a police officer comes out I have never gotten the blobber behind it....

  • It's Kent McCord from "Adam 12," also produced by Mark VII. It's just a joke, pretending that he's very lost.

  • @Cgatto01 I think the cop guy was on of the stars of Adam 12, a hit police show that was on at about the same time as Emergency.

  • I've just recently discovered Emergency! I must say I Love it!!!

I'm curious where did you find these bloopers?

  • I love all these bloopers. I'm 32 and been a fan of EMERGENCY! since I was a little girl. Mom, grandma, and I watched it in the 1980's when I was growing up. I played Johnny or Roy and had a play phone I used to call Rampart and talk to Dr. Brackett, Dr. Early or Nurse Dixie. My dolls were the patients. Dr. Brackett was my favorite character. I'm a big fan of Robert Fuller. I just got back from Phoenix, Az where I met him at The Festival of the West. He was super nice. Thanks for the memories.

  • This show was my sesame street growing up. I was born in 73, and grew up watching that show. I learned how to do medical things, like how to check for a pulse and tried to perform CPR, not on humans though, before I learned my ABCs and could count. One important school-related thing I did learn was when it was Saturday (that was the day the show came on, for you that don't know). I would go around the house constantly asking my parents if it was Saturday yet. Thanks for the bloopers!

  • It is so obvious that they ALL really loved working with each other!! I can only imagine how hard it was at the end of the series for them not to be working with each other nearly every day! I know that Kevin Tighe and Randolph Mantooth are still best friends. Tighe was the best man at Mantooth's wedding in 2002.

  • I'm amazed Randy and Kevin are still in touch. It has been over thirty five years since they started working together on Emergency. I was deeply saddened when the show ended. All things must come to an end- even the best of the best. Here's to another great TV show !

  • Especially because they are still literally best friends. Kevin Tighe was Randy Mantooth's best man at his wedding early this decade.

  • UUUUWAAAAH!! LMAO!! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!!! I just love it when Mantooth and Tighe say "Hi, I'm..." and you hear the guy in the background saying "yeah, who gives a S***" LOLOLOL!!! And scaring Robert Fuller with the spiders....LMAO!!!

There are too many funny bloopers to count!!! LOLOLOL

  • They had too much fun filming this show. There oughta be a law. Work is not supposed to be fun. Ha! Love these bloopers!

  • Dena Dietrich as a nurse coming off with, "it's not nice to fool with mother nature"......I almost fell out of my chair. Obviously Robert Fuller fell out too!

  • Dena played "Mother Nature" in a Parkay margarine commercial in the 70's. That's where the "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature" line comes from.

  • Where did you find these?

  • Wow, This really brings back childhood memories!! I used to watch this show religiously. Along with adam-12, the six million dollar man, mannix, the rookies. Geeze, I feel old LOL "squad-51 kmg365

  • this was one of my fav shows as a kid! Thanks! I soo--was crazy about Mantooth, he was gorgeous!

  • i agree with dustyboots27 he was sooooooo gorgeous

  • Anyone else hear the Williams Street tone?

  • They got it from the old Mark VII Productions blurb.

  • You did a great job putting this together, CptColumbo! It's nice to see the funnier side of this great TV show!

  • Jack Webb was a genius in creating quality programs like this. He was ahead of his time.

  • i hear the noise to the mark vii logo

  • one thing always puzzled me - in the days before computers and CGI, how did they film the massive fires/explosions at the end of every episode?

  • The same way they have been filmed for decades. The use of computer animation has been around longer than you may think, and before that they have always had explosives to use. If you pay close attention when you watch you can catch that some of the fires and explosions are the same ones just used in different sequences or angles.

  • A New Randy Mantooth Fansite is online. Please visit:

    BEEPWORLD DE/MEMBERS/RANDYMANTOOTH

  • I miss this show! Put it on In2tv.

  • the Great Cliff Osmond

  • Laughing my freaking butt off!!!!

  • that used to be my fav show of all times outside of star trek, and hogans heros, and all in the family, and.......>

  • This was a hoot! ROFLOL

  • Stoker rocks

  • I love blooper/gag reels; it's fun to watch the cast (and sometime the crew) mess up or pull a gag on other members of the show.

  • Wow!!! I used to watch Emergency! religiously as a kid. To see these bloopers really makes me appreciate the show that much more.

  • Great stuff!!!! I wish theyd release episodes on DVD

  • They have.

  • I live in London now where theyve never even heard of the show - so no way to have known that actually...

  • Please don't hold us in suspense! Can you tell us where to find this DVD or under what title it has been issued? I am a paramedic, one of that generation of EMS workers who were influenced by 'Emergency!' enough to pursue that career. It's been 26 years and counting.... Thanks for posting ths!

  • eBay. WalMart. The Internet.

  • I've had my own problems with hydrants. One night at a basement fire, I went to shut down the hydrant, did that drug the hose into the street to drain. put the 5" cap on the top of the hydrant. Guys came over, i was talking. moved my hand and the cap slid off. I thought for a minute I broke the hydrant (which isn't possible by hand without a tool). I got laughed at big time, boy did i turn red.

  • isn't this copied from the 1998 convention DVD?

  • That's ok.. The person selling the DVD from that con on Ebay is bootlegging and copying the material and making a profit for themselves against MarkVII's wishes.

  • Um.. No... The person selling it, is the person who produced the video. I'm familiar with the person in question.

  • So they home cam'd it. They still don't own the subject matter footage. Tell me how "producing" something gives that person a right to distribute copyrighted TV show content?

  • I don't think the bloopers are copyrighted? I spoke with the person in question when I bought the DVD. I think that she helped put everything together, including the music videos, so it was all her (and some other fans') creation. And, who cares? I got my DVD and it works, I'm happy! If people didn't break trivial copyright laws, we'd never get to see stuff like this. The show ended in the 70s, remember?

  • I don't agree. We are fortunate that this wonderful show is available on DVD. Right now it is only the first 4 seasons, but the rest will come. I appreciate the bloopers too, however bootlegging is wrong, period. The laws aren't trivial they are there for a reason. When they are bought they are taking away from the actors, producers, writers, etc. who put their hard work into the show. It takes away from their royalties. I don't know if this woman has the legal right to this particular thing
